Weeks of minor tragedies

injured

I’ve not been blogging as I injured my right wrist, which affected my right arm. It must have hit a nerve because my back and right leg started aching too :(

There is so much difficulties going to work as well. I try to write and type with my left hand. There are limitations. The doctor has said I should not use my right hand for six weeks, but it’s not possible.

I’ve missed a lot in blogging but will catch up soon.

There are other little tragedies, like my mails being blocked because it had reached its limit. GMAIL says I never have to delete an email. But I suppose these are all lies.

I finally got the message that I could no longer send or receive emails unless I delete some. After deleting thousands, I am still stuck.

In the process of deleting unwanted emails, I have got rid of some very important ones, especially my short stories. I can’t seem to retrieve it.

I thought I could at least have a copy on my laptop, but that machine of mine collapsed, too. Attacked by vicious virus, which came from my office!

Sad. Sad. But all this will pass. Now, hopefully wrist and arm gets better and then I can start writing and blogging again.

Meantime, hope you are well, and happy reading updates on other people’s blogs :)

I agree, incompetence at all levels

This article by M Bakri Musa in Malaysiakini is a real gem. Must go down in my blog archieve as it resonates so well with what I think. Thank you, Mr. Bakri.

[sorry for the cut and paste job but I am to mesmerised by this article not to do it].

Nothing demonstrates the perverted priorities if not for the plain idiocies of Chief of Police Musa Hassan when he sought the help of Interpol to find Raja Petra Kamarudin. Then as if to remove any residual doubt we have of him, his senior officers questioned DAP leader Lim Kit Siang over an alleged seditious speech.

musa hassan bukit gantang by election pc 030409 02Unfortunately Musa Hassan (right) reflects a more general and disturbing observation. That is, he, like all our other leaders beginning with Najib Razak and all the way down, is too incompetent to fulfill the obligations that we have entrusted unto him. Unable to execute their duties, these leaders resort to indulging themselves in silly things so they can keep themselves occupied and looking busy.

They are like the incompetent mechanic who cannot fix your car, so he busies himself wiping the dirt off the windshield. Meanwhile you still cannot drive your car out of his repair shop, and your bill for the ‘non-repair’ keeps piling up. Continue reading

Najib’s slow boat to China

All Najib Tun Razak can do in China is cling on to his daddy’s name.

My father this and my father that. The point is, he does not have any credentials on his own to convince the Chinese, is it?

Oh yes! Please bring us all the businesses and the China dolls! Bring em by the plane loads.

Hopefully they don’t get c4-ed in Malaysia.  Beware China dolls!

But what makes Najib think that Malaysian of Chinese origin would be so delighted and grateful that he is now visiting China and friendly with the country leaders?

China is not our motherland and many of us do not view China with star speckeld eyes. For someone like me, who are also exposed to alternative views and news about China, view the country with slanted eyes.

In other words, its leaders have many questions to answer when it comes to human rights issues, etc. What is happening to Tibet, Taiwan, to freedom of speech, internet, leaves much to be desired. Continue reading

Najib vs Chin Peng.

najib-graphic-jun1

Oh, what a diversion: Shoot those who back Chin Peng’s return. But we do not know how many really want him back.

But we do know how many want Najib to leave: Only 45 percent happy with Najib.

I leave it to you to decide: which is more serious?
