On Tuesday, 11 March, DAP assures the Sultan it can work with PKR and PAS. “We have formed the government, haven’t we?” (Teresa Kok)

Earlier…

It’s hard to make out what this is about? Perhaps the Sultan wants to ensure that DAP and PAS has agreed to Tan Sri Khalid being the new Selangor chief minister. In any case, he wants to meet DAP and PAS first before giving his consent to PKR.

I don’t know if this is usual or if he had ever delayed such a thing before. Anyway, lets keep our minds open and see how the event unfolds.

SHAH ALAM, March 10 (Bernama) — The formation of the new state government and the appointment of Menteri Besar will only be decided after the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah meets the DAP and Pas representatives tomorrow. The Sultan’s private secretary Datuk Mohamad Bunir Bani said Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) secretary-general Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim had an audience with the Sultan today to covey the general election results and the formation of the new state government. “However the Sultan has asked to meet the representatives of the other parties before making any decision,” he told reporters here.

Mohamad Bunir said the ceremony to appoint the new Menteri Besar would be fixed soon upon receiving the Sultan’s consent.

Meanwhile Abdul Khalid, who was granted an audience with the Sultan at Bukit Kayangan Palace, said the Sultan would meet Pas and DAP representatives tomorrow afternoon.

“The Sultan feels that it is necessary to look at the combination of (leaders from ) PKR, Pas and DAP… whether they are suitable,” he said.

Abdul Khalid also said he would submit the list of executive councillors to the Sultan in the days following tomorrow’s meeting.

“The Sultan wanted to make sure that the people of Selangor will get suitable people to lead the state,” he added.

Meanwhile Abdul Khalid denied claims that there were attempts to destroy documents at the State Secretary office.

“We should not always assume that people are up to sinister things,” he said.

The opposition pac, which won 36 out of 56 state seats in the general election on Saturday, had announced that Abdul Khalid would be the new Selangor Menteri Besar.

The Sultan is carrying out his constitutional duty.

The Constitution of Malaysia requires the Sultan to appoint the Menteri Besar from a state assembly member “most likely to enjoy the confidence of a majority of the state assembly”. Since PKR on its own does not have a majority, he needs to directly confirm that with the other two said coalition partners that it is a viable coalition.

Based on reports, the Regent of Perak did it a bit differently. He met with all 3 DAP/ PKR / PAS chiefs at the same time to get their confirmation that they agree to a coalition which can form a majority.

We want to thread carefully here. Its one of the few areas under the Constitution where the Sultan does have the responsibility to exercise independent judgement.

    SHAH ALAM, Mon:

Selangor Menteri Besar-designate Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim failed today to get consent from the Sultan of Selangor to form the new PKR-DAP-Pas state government after the ruler insisted on meeting DAP and Pas representatives first. The decision was relayed to Khalid when he met Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at the Istana Bukit Kayangan here this afternoon.

In a statement released by the palace, it said that a decision would only be made after the Sultan met representatives of the DAP and Pas. The palace said that the swearing-in ceremony would be made in the nearest future after a decision was reached.

The DAP representative would meet the Sultan at 2.30pm tomorrow, followed by Pas an hour later.

When met at the palace gates after his audience, Khalid said the Sultan wanted to meet the representatives from DAP and Pas first before he made a decision.

In last Saturday’s election, PKR captured 15 state seats, DAP 13 and Pas two. The Barisan Nasional retained only 20 seats in the 56-seat State Assembly. Needing only a simple majority of 27 seats to form the government, the three parties are staking a claim to form the government as a coalition.

Khalid, who won the Ijok state constituency, was named by the PKR on Sunday as the head of the three party coalition in Selangor. He also won the Bandar Tun Razak parliamentary constituency.

Khalid said that the Sultan wanted to meet the representatives personally to ensure that the coalition was strong enough to rule Selangor.

The appointment of a new Menteri Besar would be the first order in a process of forming a new State government. The decision would be followed by the Sultan assessing the names of executive councillors which will be submitted by the new Menteri Besar.

“I am confident that the Sultan wants to make sure that the appointment is right,” he said. “The Sultan is the umbrella of Selangor and he wants to ensure the people in the State get the right leadership.”

Earlier, Khalid met State secretary Datuk Ramli Mahmud at the State secretariat building here for almost two hours. However, he did not reveal what was discussed at the meeting.

S’gor Sultan to meet party reps before giving consent

PETALING JAYA: The new Selangor government will only be sworn-in in a few days time as Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah wants to personally meet members of the new state line-up before consenting to the formation of a coalition government.

Mentri Besar-designate Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said the Sultan told him this in an hour-long meeting at Istana Bukit Kayangan on Monday.

He is scheduled to meet representatives from DAP and Pas on Tuesday.

Khalid, who is PKR secretary-general, said the Sultan wants to meet the representatives face-to-face, listen to their views and offer his advice.

K’jaan baru S’gor selepas Sultan jumpa PAS, DAP

    Mar 10, 08 9:09pm

    4) They assemble, protest and get hammered by water cannons

    6) State of Emergency in declared. Badawi declares, “The people cannot handle Democracy, the country is in chaos, we have to stabilize the situation. As we all know that the Sultan of Selangor is very concerned about his people. I am a Selangorian and i understand his predicament after living through the infamous war lords, Toyo and Deros whom have insulted the Sultan’s call for a just government. He did not want any complications that may arise at a later stage. He is making sure of that and it feels good and safe that we have a caring Sultan. Remember that we chose the opposition, not the MBs, the supreme council of the opposition chose Khalid as MB for the benefit of us, for reasons we may never know. But Sultan, unlike us, will question why that is so. The Sultan have every right to do so. Therefore, please do not jump.

  11. Feroz Merican says:

The Sultan of Selangor is very concerned about his people ? Really? Is that why he has let Khir Toyo and the rest of his exco’s rip off the people of Selangor for years? With houses and palaces for themselves, their families, relations and cronies? If he was so concerned, why did he never speak up? Staying quiet for years is not the sign of someone in touch with the people, let alone concerned.

  12. andrew das arulsamy says:

Previously, BN had 2/3 and Sultan’s power in politics is virtually none. He can only advise and ask them to seek audience and advise again. It became worst in the last 4 years or so. Now, no one has 2/3 and therefore, he may express his views and/or demands that the leaders are up to their mark. Probably he is just making sure of that.

  13. anuarnor says:

  14. The Sultan of Selangor is a good Sultan who had voiced displeasure to race-based politics and declared all Selangorians and Malaysians are Malaysian.

It’s just that a newly elected Menteri Besar has to follow the Royal’s protocol. The Sultan wants to make sure that he everything is in order and no hanky panky business especially this one which affects millions of lives in Selangor.

Time for Khalib to do the right thing and get an royal adviser when comes to the Sultanate protocol.

Well! If everything is in perspective, surely our Selangor Sultan will act according to the State’s Constitution.

Our Selangor Sultan is a learned and sensible Sultan who would be king of this nation one day. So please have respect to our Sultan, The punishment for slandering our Sultan is severe.

If you don’t know, DYMM did spoke up on the issues . In fact the previous MB was summoned to explain to DYMM Sultan. What transpired inside the royal palace is not for us to demand to know.
If you are a Selangorian , I am sure you know the royal protocols in our state.

  19. Feroz Merican says:

Thanks Bamboo river for your comment and info. I guess we just have to wait and see what happens in the next 72 hours. No point getting angry so early. Selangor is the premier state in the country and I reckon the BN will do everything to sabotage the will of the people. But we have to wait. Yes, I was born in Assunta Hospital and lived in PJ all my life. I never thought I would see an Oppostition Govt here in my lifetime and I hope the Sultan will realize how important the transfer of power is to us.

Khalid should have brought DAP and PAS leaders with him to see the Sultan – to prove that he has the support of the other two parties. Since Barisan Rakyat is not a formal political party – PKR alone could not govern and it must partner DAP and PAS and prove to the Sultan that he has their support.

PKR could not even govern as a minority government since UMNO has a bigger share of seats. Khalid should learn to treat partners as partners. By seeking audience with the Sultan alone – he has done thing unilaterally and not a good sign for an MB-designate.

    Dear s…..MyAss,

Yesterday, I was asking myself why some bloggers moderate the comments, yet write about freedom and stuffs. To comment, we have to learn the tool of the trade to circumvent the ban or moderation. Essentially, we will become replica of the blog owner or some, the fancees. Assimilating into their thoughts, approvals, ideologies and even theosophies. There very few, like Susan and RockyBru, who let most, if not all comments flow. But there were times, even they were pressured by some of comments made.

When I am in such turmoil of thoughts, along came a spider like you which make the web so crytal clear. The reason for moderation is obviously, in effect, to protect free speech from being corrupted into just noices and swearing. Perhaps, even wild claim. Hahahaha.

Guess, the best solution I reached for my own dilemma is to comment less and read less sopoblogs. At least, I retain my own perspectives and to some extent dignity.

I hope this response to your comment is not in anyway crude or rude; it is just euphemism. It seems, my dilemma and yours is the same and only. Cheer. 🙂

Chill, boys & girls! What’s another day or 2 after 50 years?

I think both the rulers of Perak and Selangor played a large part in garnering votes for the BR. Their criticism and speeches probably helped make up the minds of many fence sitters. Relax and wait for the announcement. What an impatient bunch you are.

  50. Taqi says:

    Please Don’t Jump!

This is the first time the Selangor state have 3 parties. It is good to have the Sultan listen ideas from the 3 parties. I think the Sultan also thrill with the current situation in his region. the Sultan need to understand the ideas from the 3 parties. He can provide his views and summarize to Tan Sri Khalid. His advise as the State Ruler must not be taken lightly because the Sultan is a person of wisdom.

In fact, the coalition government which is about to form, is new thing and we never thought of this kind of situation could be happen. The partnership of Selangor state government need to work closely and thoroughly to meet one mission and vision for Selangor and its people.

Frankly, I am a bit nervous and excite how the new coalition government of Selangor will run the state. The Selangorians have decided, so please be patience. The new state government also need time to assimilate one and another to make a better governance to Selangor.
The have to make themselves clear on the direction to run the richest state in Malaysia.

Let’s hope for a better future for the people… it is all out us (people)
Pray for a better, fair and clean government

  51. nmjg says:

I trust the integrity and wisdom of the Perak and Selangor Sultan. However, in the process of negotiating who will be the Menteri Besar, perhaps the Sultans should order his own guards to look after the Secretariat building, to make sure all the files, documents and other relevant assets in the Selangor and Perak Office are not tampered with, or to prevent the toppled ones stealing time to erase all evidences of corruption and mal-practices. Or may be, the parties concerned should apply for a court order to seal off the building , and to isolate all the files and documents etc, in order to prevent unscrupulous people from destroying the important evidences.

Well I hope Zakaria Deros’ mansion will be taken over by the new govt, whoever the MB is and turned into a school/hostel for orphans. Let’s show Malaysia how to properly run a state, and how to run a country, for all Malaysians. Also, the Sultans can wait but the Stock Market does not. Clear it up and the Stock Market will rebound once the future is clear.

  58. Click says:

The Sultan’s move is rational, constitutional and in our best interest. He has demonstrated in the past that he looks out for us within the ambits of the law, as it rightfully should be. Patience is a virtue and it is indeed people like s…Myass that may cause not just the Malays but other Selangorian’s to have buyer’s remorse.

  59. meiling says:

I agree with Click and Mnaa. The Sultan’s move is rational. That’s what good leadership is. To ensure there is unity and proper discussion among the 3 parties before appointing the MB.

  60. REVISED! REVISED! REVISED!

Opposition can only ignore Indian votes at their own peril
    – Indian vote bank the Achilles Heel in a two-party system

    By Joe Fernandez@Fernz

Indian votes play the Kingmaker role in Peninsular Malaysia, not Chinese or Malay votes although there is a lot of talk about Chinese and Malay dissatisfaction. The Indians have been conveniently forgotten by the instant pundits-plagued media, again, as they fawn slavishly over Anwar Ibrahim. Does he really deserve that much attention, especially in the foreign press? The Chinese and Malay Opposition are just jumping on the bandwagon of Indian dissatisfaction and adding their own petty issues which detract from the core issue in the just concluded General Elections: Indian dissatisfaction with the BN. There is nothing the Chinese and Malay Opposition can do on their own without the support of Indian voters. Just as easily as the Opposition won five states in Peninsular Malaysia, they can lose them again at the next General Elections if the Indians defect to the BN. That’s why Samy Vellu has pledged to stay on as MIC president and continue to soldier on. He knows. He knew. Even now, he’s plotting the destruction of the Opposition day and night. He was finally done in by the Malay Civil Service releasing funds reluctantly in drips and drabs for the Indian community while PM after PM either closed one eye or looked the other way.

It is not the Indians alone that are dissatisfied with the BN Government. Others are dissatisfied too. The difference is that the votes of the Others cannot make even an iota of difference at the polls against the might of the BN without the votes of the Indians. It’s a numbers game first put in place for the Indians by the late MIC vice-president Pathmanaban. An Indian vote in a marginal constituency is worth its weight in gold compared with a non-Indian vote in an ethnic-majority constituency. Large numbers of Opposition Chinese and Opposition Malay votes are locked up in huge constituencies and effectively neutralised. Indians are spread all over but make a difference in 67 Parliamentary constituencies in Peninsular Malaysia. They hold the balance. The BN know who are their voters and supporters. Indians were taken for granted by the BN for the last 50 years. The Indians got nothing in return for their loyalty and come sat 8 Mar 2008, they fled en bloc in the wake of Hindraf’s makkal sakthi (people power).

If the BN wants to win back the sizeable Indian votes in the 64 Parliamentary seats (BN obtained Indian votes in only three Parliamentary seats), it must not touch the following in a negative way: Hindu temples; Tamil schools; and Tamil language.

It must not allow the Civil Courts to compromise the Federal Constitution by bending over backwards to accommodate Syariah Court rulings in an adverse manner against non-Muslims.

No snatching of non-Muslim corpses by claiming that they had secretly converted to Islam by reciting something in front of some people on their deathbed.

No bringing in foreign workers, legal and illegal, at the expense of Malaysians. Depressing local wages by using foreigners is also unacceptable.

The BN Government must rein in the Malay Police who are brutally engaged in a long running war with Indian youths. So many Indian youths have been beaten blue and black in police custody, and even killed, for no other reason other than their race. Has even one extra-judicial killing been investigated and the guilty punished?

The BN Government must make efforts to Malaysianise the Malay Police, the Malay Civil Service, the Malay Judiciary and the Malay Teaching Service. What will become of the Lingam tapes? There must be substance in the follow-up, not just form and cosmetics.

The BN Government must ensure that equal rights, as guaranteed by the Federal Constitution, are respected and honoured. Don’t drag in the question of special privileges (for the Umnoputras certainly) to deny equal rights to all.

The System must be for all, not just for some people. Contradictions, deviations, discrepancies and hijacking of the system must be eliminated. Government created opportunities must be made available to all, without fear or favour, and not just for some people only. There must be no discrimination or quota systems. The NEP, instituted in the name of the Bumiputera masses and the poor and socio-engineering, must go because it has been abused and abused enough time and time again to enrich the Umnoputras at the expense of all.

The Malaysian Prime Minister must behave as a Prime Minister for all races and not just for the Malays. He should never tell Indians to go and see some stooge of an Indian community leader when they have grievances to discuss with him. One day Badawi says he has big ears and the next day he refuses to meet with Hindraf leaders.

The Malaysian Prime Minister must stop saying things like: Melayu mesti buat ini, Melayu mesti buat itu, Melayu mesti buat ini and itu; Melayu, Melayu, Melayu; Agenda Melayu, ketuanan Melayu, perjuangan Melayu yang belum selesai, Melayu Baru, Islam Hadhari, incorporation of Islamic values, the Islamic state, the Social Contract etc. These are things that should be raised by Malay community leaders and not the Malaysian Prime Minister.

The BN, Umno in particular, must stop bribing Indian community leaders with some crumbs to betray the community.

The BN must not insist on the MIC being the sole representative of the Indian community in the Barisan Nasional. Umno’s survival, forseen by Onn Bin Jaffar 50 years ago, ultimately hinges on opening its doors to the non-Bumiputera. The days of racial parties and the racial politics of divide and rule, practised by the colonial British authorities, are numbered.

Finally, the Opposition can only ignore the Indian community at their own peril. Don’t take the community for granted and become complacent and rest on your laurels. Anwar Ibrahim is no magician. This man has never impressed me. He’s a shallow intellectual, political chameleon and political opportunist – Chandra Muzzafar who views Anwar as an unmitigated disaster is right – who capitalised on the Hindraf phenomenon (makkal sakthi or people power) and did very well for the Opposition. Otherwise, he would have just been a nuisance factor like the occasional mosquito which irritates with the whining and cowardly nips Anwar must be laughing himself to death at the utter stupidity of the BN leaders in handling the Hindraf issue just as he was laughing himself to death when he effortlessly went from ABIM leader to Deputy Prime Minster although he made a mess of every Ministry he headed and would have made a mess of the economy too in 1998 had not Mahathir stepped in and sacked him. Let the Indians have their rightful place in the sun or witness Malaysian politics going into a long period of uncertainty, swinging from one extreme to another, and finally degenerating into chaos, instability and economic ruin.

The Bumiputera community was the excuse for the NEP in 1970 in the wake of the searing Sino-Malay race riots of 13 May 1969. Today, the Bumiputeras have nothing more than the proverbial shirt on their back and have turned to Islam in solace. They were used and thoroughly used again and again since 1970 as an excuse to enrich a privileged few, most of whom have since gone bankrupt and bankrupted quite a number of state institutions too.

The Opposition, in power in five states, should not make the same mistake with the Indian community which has put them where they are now. True, Others supported too. But their votes would have meant nothing at all against the might of the BN without the golden Indian votes, the deciding factor. Just look at the way the votes went in the just-concluded 12th General Election. However, the BN has been wise enough not to publicly blame Indian voters for their electoral debacle.

  61. rina j says:

i juz received an sms forwarded by some opposition informer saying that bn had requested for the post of selangor’s deputy MB…what??? can this b true???

  62. Feroz Merican says:

Responding to Rina, I wouldn’t worry about it. They lost the State. MB , Deputy MB, Exco, all opposition, if Barisan asks for anything, Anwar Ibrahim will tell them to get lost, plus they will be a bigger laughing stock than they already are. No way will Anwar agree to it, becuase the people who voted BN out out will be digusted and appalled at PKR for bowing to it. It’s just a rumour to upset people and to agitate and antagonize the electorate.

  63. gothikaa says:

    Dear 1 people 1 nation,

You are absolutely right. The Sultan is concern for his people, regardless whether we are Malays, Chinese or Indian. Someone has to make sure the three parties in the Coalition are agreeable to the appointments made so as the Rakyat would not be affected by any possible miscommunication.

  64. believe says:

I want to ask Tan Sri Khaled, why did you go ALONE to meet the Sultan?
Is this the beginning of arrogance, racialism or what? Courtesy, if not protocol demands that you should have gone to see the Sultan with at least a representative from DAP and PAS. The Sultan has given you a light slap in the face by delaying your appointment. He kindly and correctly wishes also, to meet DAP and PAS.
The Sultan of Selangor is one of the most modern and progressive Sultan we have. Ask him for advice and treat him with respect. And respect also your coalition partners DAP and PAS.

  65. Feroz Merican says:

I don’t see PAS and DAP complaining that Khalid met the Sultan by himself. They already had a meeting earlier and it was decided by all 3 Parties that the PKR guy would become Chief Minister. Anwar is the defacto leader of the Opposition, not Kit Siang and not Nik Aziz. If Anwar says it is Khalid and DAP and PAS agree, what more do you want?
All this respect and protocol is one example why we can never be like the Republics of Singapore and Indonesia. Does the MIC and MCA go along to meet the Sultan when the Chief Minister is from UMNO? If they do, then I am sorry, my mistake, but I have never heard of Selangor MCA and Selangor MIC also having to go and pay their respects to the Sultan before. Like Harun Idris ever had to have their permission…

  69. Freedom has its own limit says:

to Sultanmyass or perhaps, your mama’s ass,

I believe you have never learned the history of Malaysia (formerly known as Tanah Melayu). Even in UK, Thailand, Denmark and several countries there are Kings and Queens. If you live in UK and you question the power of Queen Elizabeth, i wonder whether you are gonna survive or not. If i live in China and i start questioning the President’s power or decision, do you think i will survive? If i live in India for many many years, i will never question the power of Indian people there. If i start calling the President of India as “my ass” eventhough my family has been living there for 100 years, don’t you think it is extremely rude and stupid? You better watch your mouth kid! Sometimes, people get killed not because of their acts whatsoever but because of their rude remarks and statement. Please respect the rights of the Sultan. And start studying the law and history of Malaysia and other monarchy countries. If i live in China and i hate the President of China, i will just migrate to other countries. It is as easy as that. I will never make rude remarks or statements that will annoy other races which in the end will make things go even more complicated.

  70. sc says:

joe fernandez, why taking so much trouble to split hair? You have said over and over again about the importance of Indian votes which I fully agree but votes from other ethnic groups are equally important. Moreover, your rationale just do not add up mathematically. Whether these were Indian, Malay or Chinese votes, lets cherish together, OK?

  71. chuah ken leong says:

i agree with your statement Mr. Freedom,

i guess, Sultanmy”” is just a loser who doesn’t know the history of this country. i’m a Chinese but i respect Malay people as much as they respect me. in other words, we respect each other. race issue is a very sensitive issue in this country. do we want the 13th May incident happens again? to all people regardless of races, we need to mind our words and voice our ideas wisely. trust me, freedom does has its limit. there’s no absolute or total freedom in this world. i’ve been living in Kelantan for 5 years and guess what? i have never been offended by Malays in Kelantan! in fact, my business here in Kota Bharu is as strong as ever! some Chinese extremists are so afraid of PAS but for God’s sake, have they lived or visited Kelantan before? i’m a pure Chinese but i feel million times safer in Kota Bharu than in Bukit Bintang. if in KL, many Chinese parents afraid that their children will become an alcoholic or “ah long” or being influenced by other negative things, my children here are totally under control and i don’t have to worry about all negative things that will influence them. my children are happier in Kota Bharu than in Bukit Bintang. you guys have been influenced by newspapers and other extremists all this while. but if you ask me what is the best thing ever happen to me. the answer would be none other than living in Kelantan.

  72. admin says:

yeah, i think nothing wrong with that, i believe the suLtan wanna make sure everything is okay..plus, I guess this is the first time selangor will be under PKR, so even myself , I would like to have a talk first with them..at least get a rough idea of what’s the future directions..and bla bla bla..

  73. Feroz Merican says:

I wonder what the Sultan of Selangor thinks of the shredding that is going on in Shah Alam. I wonder who His Highness will complain to, to voice his displeasure. And I wonder if he thinks PKR/DAP?PAS will be doing the same in 4 years. As for the “Constitutional Crisis” mentioned earler, more rumours, designed to agitate and upset people. I think Selangor and Perak will not confirm the MB until Saturday at the earliest. And you know why, because the BN needs more time to destroy information and to wipe out evidence of their wrongdoing. Shredding and packing takes time.

  74. Z Habshi says:

The Sultan has a constitutional *duty* to appoint the person who he thinks will most likely command the confidence of the state assembly. The best way to establish this is to meet representatives from all the parties instead of relying on second-hand messages relayed from the party which has the most to gain.

And if you read earlier reports, it was the Sultan himself who had the State Secretariat building sealed off. The shredding only occurred after some staff members entered with the MB-designate.

Those who fail to understand this are the real agitators.

  75. Feroz Merican says:

The shredding ONLY OCCURED after some STAFF MEMBERS entered with the MB Designate- You mean Khalid? You mean the shredding only started after Khalid dropped by with his supporters? I think your brains are shredded friend. Better an agitator than a bloody fool and a complete Moron. Why would PKR shred papers? Why won’t Toyo talk to the press?
Why did he avoid the Press for 3 days? And you DARE tell me the shredding only occurred after staff antered with Khalid. Unbelievable.

  76. anak malaysia says:

DYMM Sultan is truly concerned for the rakyat and definitely doesn’t want the arrogance of the previous administration under the new coalition. The Sultan wants the new coalition to succeed and be better. The face to face meeting is to affirm the commitment and direction of all parties for the sake of the state & rakyat.

  77. Z Habshi says:

As I said, it was according to “earlier reports” i.e. the Sin Chew Jit Poh photos which showed the shredded documents. I did not blame Khalid’s staff specifically (you have somehow assumed that I was). They could have been civil servants. It is logical that if the building had been sealed off, and the first people to enter were with Khalid at the time, and the photos were taken soon after this entry, it follows that those who shredded them were among those people. It is possible that someone sneaked in earlier, but I haven’t heard that anyone did. It is also possible that the press is misreporting, and I wouldn’t be surprised.

Anyway it is the first paragraph that is more substantive and you have been casting doubt on the Sultan’s motives throughout your comments. I am pointing out that this is required by the constitution to do this.

  78. Andrew Das Arulsamy says:

Guys, sorry to bother, is there any news on najib’s notoriety. His corruptions, altantuya, mahathir’s support for najib and so on… Including him and UMNO malays where they are only interested to bathe their keris and swim in non-malays blood.
