Seems like it is very difficult for UMNO propaganda machines themselves to accept Najib @ Naif Ton Rasa as the new Prime Minister. It was only last week that Bernama, main UMNO media made a terrible boo boo. Yesterday, it’s Utusan Malaysia.
The headline screams ’10 akur arahan TPM’. The English translation is: ’10 heed DPM’s orders’. The story was about none other than the Terengganu UMNO revolt, which happened recently.
You’d think it was DPM Muhyiddin Yassin who gave the ‘orders’ for the 10 rebels to attend the state assembly sitting. But if you read the article further, it was all about Najib or Naif.
So tell me what’s happening in the UMNO/BN media, huh???

KUALA TERENGGANU 15 April – Semua 10 Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Barisan Nasional (BN) yang tidak menghadiri persidangan DUN semalam, muncul hari ini untuk menunaikan tanggungjawab masing-masing sebagai wakil rakyat.
Dengan wajah yang ceria, mereka dilihat memasuki dan memenuhi Dewan apabila persidangan dimulakan kira-kira pukul 9.30 pagi.
Mereka menghadiri semula persidangan DUN selepas Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak semalam mengarahkan ADUN berkenaan kembali menunaikan tanggungjawab masing-masing hari ini.
ADUN terlibat ialah Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh (Jerteh), Datuk Rosol Wahid (Ajil), Muhammad Ramli Nuh (Tepuh), Mohd. Zawawi Ismail (Kuala Berang), Abdul Halim Jusoh (Permaisuri), Datuk Din Adam (Bukit Besi), Alias Abdullah (Alor Limbat), Zakaria Abdullah (Paka), Ramlan Ali (Jabi) dan Mohd. Pehimi Yusof (Kota Putera).
Semalam ADUN berkenaan tidak menghadiri persidangan Dewan kerana mendakwa keselamatan diri mereka terancam.
Tindakan semua ADUN BN itu dipercayai ada kaitan dengan sistem khidmat pesanan ringkas (SMS) berbentuk ancaman yang diterima Rosol, Abdul Halim dan Zakaria berhubung kemelut politik di negeri ini.
Ia dipercayai susulan kenyataan Menteri Besar, Datuk Ahmad Said untuk mengambil tindakan tegas termasuk memecat ADUN BN jika mereka membentangkan usul tidak percaya terhadap beliau pada persidangan ini.
Sementara itu, Yang Dipertua DUN, Datuk Tengku Putera Tengku Awang gembira kerana mereka hadir selepas tidak menunaikan tanggungjawab semalam.
Katanya, kehadiran mereka membuktikan semua ADUN tidak mengetepikan tanggungjawab masing- masing.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani negeri, Rozi Mamat pula berkata, kesemua ahli DUN sepakat dan tidak berpecah seperti dakwaan pembangkang.
Menurutnya, dakwaan pembangkang kononnya wakil rakyat BN berpecah-belah tidak benar kerana kehadiran mereka membuktikan perpaduan di dalam parti tetap utuh.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Agama dan Penerangan negeri, Khazan Che Mat pula membidas Pas kerana sering membuat andaian bukan-bukan di sebalik ketidakhadiran ADUN BN sepanjang persidangan semalam.

Naif advocated for 1Malaysia but not 1UMNO. The Ministers’ line-up did not reflect that spirit of oneness. There is dichomoty already in UMNO. The stunning decision of Naif was to appoint Mukhriz as the Deputy Minister in the International Trade to the exclusion of Khairy J, who succeeded in his bid fdor the UMNO Chief’s post. This is a flaw in this line-up – mistake of Naif being influence by MM.

Judging from the writings of Dr Wong, I feel that he must have been pretty worked up and overly and persuasively emotional in trying to convince the rakyat to lend support to our new PM’s policy of 1Bolehland.
His contention or argument was centred on the fact that the rakyat’s had given their support previously to the past two PMs; as such, why they could not given the same level of support to the newly appointed PM’s 1 Bolehland policy. He further crossed swords with this opposing group by condemning them as traitors.
Majority of the rakyat is not prepared to give Niaf a chance to be the sixth PM because the baggage and the closeted skeletons he brought with him to his premiership are likely to bring shame, disgrace and disrepute to Malaysia. The electorate wants a competent, accountable and transparent government committed to the promotion of racial peace, harmony, egalitarian progress and development and the advancement of justice and civil liberties. The populace’s aspirations can be found in the silent cries of the people in the recent two by-elections in Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang.
Perhaps, at this juncture, it is appropriate to point out to Dr Wong that there exists a world of difference between 1 Malaysia and 1Bolehland. While most people will not object to lend support to the promotion and creation of 1 Malaysia, they certain would abhor if not fulminate against the thought of perpetuating the distasteful, corrupt and morally decaying Bolehland, to which UMNO and its lackeys support and subscribe.
Hence, by calling the those opposing Niaf’s concept of 1 Bolehland as traitors, I think Dr Wong got here confused between the two terms – 1 Malaysia and Bolehland. They are certainly not synonymous and should only be used judiciously.
Having said that, let us analyse the two recent rulings from the High and Apex Court on cases concerning with and arising from the Perak constitutional crisis. It was certainly a coup-de-tat mounted deliberately to seige control fom the PR Government. So here we see the blatant violation of the national tenet of Rule of Law and Constitution of Malaysia.
In my view, the quality of judicial review as shown in the above cases was certainly way below the desired standard. How do you ever expect the public to have the confidence to seek justice from the local judiciary? It is further clear that justice has been compromised.in all the Perak-related cases. The rulings from the courts are just irrational, frivolous and baseless. And, they must be quickly reviewed to redeem their flagging credibility and integrity. And, this is part of the Bolehland’s conspiracy strategy.
So, for me or the informed public to support the 1 Bolehland, high hopes, Dr Wong.Sorry I have to clarify the situation before the matter is carried too far.

I hope the BN will not use the Penanti by-election and the waste of public fund as a reason to brush aside the need of quick and immediate snap elections in Perak to resolve the political and democratic quagmire there. The whole crisis is becoming too odd. Now, the federal court ruled that it has the jurisdiction to review the decision made by the legislative assembly. Ex-justice Chan said a decision that was made in blatant defiance of Article 72(1) of the Federal Constitution which says, “The validity of any proceedings in the Legislative Assembly of any State shall not be questioned in any court”.
If we have to spend scarce resources on a good cause such as preserving our democratic rights then it has to be done e.g. the power grab and illegitimate government in Perak. It is clear and without a doubt that the BN installed Menteri Besar and state government would lose a state wide election if one is called. Simply, this was not the government elected by the people. Hence, to ensure our democracy works, it is important to go back to the people.
Finally, the Sultan of Perak has spoken. He said, “Rulers are above politics and as such they cannot participate in open debate to answer allegations hurled against them by political groups.” However, when a ruler has made a political decision he owes it to the people to explain his decision if it appears to be inconsistent with the highest law of the land – federal constitution. This is a binding and legal duty of a constitutional monarch.
He cannot claim a right to remain silence by saying that his monarchy is above politics. It was his decision to appoint a non-popularly elected Menteri Besar and to legitimize a government which is dependent on three dubious characters. He cannot claim to be above politics if he had made such a controversial and undemocratic decision.

In the last few by-elections, the Election Commission just forked out less than RM3 million in expenses. However, the police had used more than RM31 million. This is really shocking and unacceptable. It is unacceptable because we have read of police unnecessary interference in the democratic process including the right and freedom to assemble and hold political rallies during the campaign period. The person(s) who authorised the expenses must be held accountable.
The fact that the police needed RM31 million or ten times more than what the EC needed to run the by-elections speaks volume of the authority mindset. Malaysian voters are not a wild and unruly lot unless provoked. The use of water canon, tear gas, dogs, helicopters etc are a waste of public fund. The attitude of the authorities must change if they want to keep down the cost of running a by-election. The next time the police thought of using the helicopter again they should really justify its uses. It is public money! Not BN’s money.

Tun Mahathir : BN must contest Penanti by-election
While PM Najib said that Barisan Nasional might not contest the Penanti state by-election if it obtains the consensus of all component parties, Tun Mahathir is urging Barisan Nasional to contest.
KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has urged Barisan Nasional (BN) to drop the idea of not contesting the Penanti by-election in Penang.
To do so, he said, would be to concede defeat to the opposition Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

Researchers are planning large-scale trials of the new treatment after early tests produced positive results.
Five sufferers who received injections of a drug called CPHPC three times a day showed no decline in their condition over three months, suggesting that it could be more effective than current treatments which do not benefit some patients.
