Hi,  I did four stories for Malaysiakini today, but they are all buried way down below. There’s too many stories on APCO, Hulu Selangor and Parliament, that other stories gets the “low priority”. So, I am pulling them out here so you won’t miss them:

1. Anwar kena ‘sodomised’ by old frens, now enemies:
A bare-all ceramahMCPXin Penang rained allegations down on Anwar Ibrahim’s character, credibility and integrity, in a bid to run down the opposition leader’s ability to lead the nation. Read MORE here.

2. Pakatan ‘bad boys’ sabo UMNO/Malay NGO ceramah? Tsk..tsk…
“They told me they were extorted, threatened and there was even a police report lodged against the organisers of the event,” alleged Rizal at the two hour ceramah last night. “Their banners, buntings and posters were ripped apart and shredded into pieces.” Read MORE here.

3. BN jealous!

Saying that detractors were having a case of ‘sour grapes’, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng has lashed out at the Barisan Nasional for labeling the state government’s monetary appreciation programme for senior citizens as a ‘gimmick’. Read MORE here.

4. Local elections can cause racial imbalances, meh?

Putrajaya’s claim that local elections should not be held as it could cause imbalances in racial representation, is unfounded as the benefits of participatory democracy far outweighs any ethnic encumbrances, said a former advisor to the United Nations. Read MORE here.

    4. They said it… We, the rakyat ARE fine & dandy with our multi racial people…

Come to think of it…. the rakyat are fine with each other of different races…..
Its the politicians that are stirring things up for NO reason……

To look into our economy… they haven’t the slightest idea……..

I hope that PR had learned a great lesson from what took place since the last General Election. Candidates were not medically fit to take on the role of State Assemblyman or Member of Parliament.
Besides, many of the chosen candidates who were elected were more for their own interest – with the slight carrot dangled before their noses, they crossed over. And, this is most disappointing.

Then there were those who were corruptible. And, these scums were not careful nor sensitive when approached by the BN/UMNO to offer them with attractive money and projects to cross over. Some succumbed to this form of temptation that caused the set-back to PR.

I think many of those elected members need to be cautioned against such evils. To strengthen the coalition, they need to sacrifice themselves for the betterment of the masses. Comes the next GE, I hope the people will continue to support PR, but their members must be committed to the long term course or struggle for justice, equality, integrity, transparency and accountiability. If you cannot, then it is better that you resign from the various parties to which you belong.
