Hope you enjoy this videoclip. I wanted a totally Asian jingle bells song and found this! If anyone is offended by this, I am truly sorry.

You see, Susan is in a holiday though not partying mood. Too much to do at home! But here’s wishing one and all a merry christmas (for those who celebrate), season’s greetings and happy holidays (to those who do not celebrate Christmas) and a Happy New Year to all.

Be happy, be merry but be safe🙂

    Life is like that.

Try to ponder upon the past year on how many things that you missed out on because you were afraid of looking like a fool, or being embarrassed by it.

Just something to ponder upon before you start of the year.

Extremely funny, yet serious, immigration issue unfolds in Northampton, England

It is learned from the UK authorities that four men have been arrested after they allegedly entered the country illegally by hiding in a 32-foot-tall fake Christmas tree. Apparently, the men were hiding inside an aluminium and nylon tree ordered for the town centre’s Christmas display.

The men, believed to be from Iraq and Iran were spotted by eagle-eyed Northampton council staff hiding at the depot in the back of a lorry. Immigration officers were informed and the men taken into custody. It is not thought they were intending to look for work as Father Christmas as they had no red coats or false beards.

The driver of the lorry, from France, has stated that he knew nothing of the stowaways.

The police knows what to expect. Yet, when it strikes them in the face, they just cannot put theirr act together against the rowdy street rogues.

From the way things had happened on Christmas eve and early Friday, the authorites are in for a real tough time handling the festive hooligans on New Year’s eve.

Despite an ‘assurance ‘ that things would be more orderly this year, the police lost out to the hooligans.

Gan said more policemen would be deployed to the popular promenade as well as other ‘hot spots’ in the city come New Year’s eve.

A response to Ridhuan Tee: All Malaysians have special rights

“In this regard we can learn from the former British colony called America. Whatever its shortcomings, it is a land of immigrants and is still evolving. A black man or a woman can become president. This is what America conceives itself to be and this is what Malaysian can learn from. Can a non-Malay become prime minster if he/she is the most ethical of all politicians in the country?

No one particular race should stake a claim to Malaysia. That is an idea from the old school of thought, fast being abandoned. Each citizen is born, bred, and brought to school to become a good law-abiding and productive Malaysian citizen, is accorded the fullest rights and privileges and will carry his/her responsibility as a good citizen.”

DEC 29 — For once, social scientists have discovered a flaw in the human psyche that will not be tedious to correct. You may not even need a support group. You could try on your own by starting with this simple New Year’s resolution: Have fun … now!

Then you just need the strength to cash in your gift certificates, drink that special bottle of wine, redeem your frequent flier miles and take that vacation you always promised yourself. If your resolve weakens, do not succumb to guilt or shame. Acknowledge what you are: a recovering procrastinator of pleasure.

Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Track Santa and his sleigh with NORAD
    12/23/2009 07:13:00 AM
Sipping warm cider, watching the snow fall, unwrapping gifts — these holiday traditions always seem to produce many of the year’s sweetest memories. Several years ago, we added another holiday tradition to our list — helping NORAD keep tabs on Santa every Christmas Eve.

NORAD’s Santa-tracking dates back to 1955, when a Sears and Roebuck magazine ad in Colorado Springs accidentally directed readers to call NORAD instead of the “Talk-to-Santa” hotline they were advertising. Embracing the holiday spirit, the folks at NORAD provided callers with Santa’s location according to their radar and have tracked his journey ever since. Many years later, in 2004, the same holiday spirit inspired us to use Google Earth — it was called “Keyhole Earth Viewer” back then — to display Santa’s voyage around the world on Christmas Eve. We hosted the entire tracker on a single machine and were excited to have an audience of 25,000 following St. Nick’s flight with us that night.

Twelve days of Christmas – Revised Policy

Effective immediately, the following economizing measures are being implemented in the “Twelve Days of Christmas” subsidiary:

    1) The partridge will be retained, but the pear tree, which never produced the cash crop forecasted, will be replaced by a plastic hanging plant, providing considerable savings in maintenance

    2) Two turtle doves represent a redundancy that is simply not cost effective. In addition, their romance during working hours could not be condoned. The positions are, therefore, eliminated

    3) The three French hens will remain intact. After all, everyone loves the French

    4) The four calling birds will be replaced by an automated voice mail system, with a call waiting option. An analysis is underway to determine who the birds have been calling, how often and how long they talked.

    Here’s Wishing You A Miserable New Year…

If you’re one of the plethora of corrupt politicians, I wish you have a miserable year getting bribes and kickbacks.

If you’re one of these corrupt politicians, I can only dream that you’re caught on tape doing one of your dastardly misdeeds.

If you’re a political insider who has always greased the wheels of cronyism and nepotism, I wish you a truly horrible year for your political fortunes.

If you are one of those politicians who has been obsessed with lining your own pockets and doling out the public’s wealth for your own family and relatives, I wish you a horrible year politically.

And for those of you who have also been peddlers of racist propaganda to promote your pathetically shallow, narrow-minded, and disgustingly divisive communalism, I wish you fail miserably in 2010.

Indeed, for those who have exploited religion and used it as a weapon to abuse, mistreat, and violate the rights of others, I wish you have a painful process of coming to your senses and recanting on your misdeeds.

In this similar vein, for those of you who continue to indulge in spewing poisonous venom in order to divide and misguide the public, while adding to the suffering of the people, I wish you have a truly horrendous time doing so in the coming year.

May the public servants who abuse their position of authority, commit crimes of violence and torture against civilians and abuse the human rights of others themselves be inflicted with a torturous feeling of guilt and the pain of a tormented conscience.

For those who have made a mockery of our judicial system, may you find yourselves haunted by the torture you’ve inflicted on innocent others.

For those who have abused the public trust by bleeding the country’s rich resources and ruined the well-being of the nation, I hope you get your just desert and find yourself sitting in prison.

Am I hopeful that our political system, for what it is, can help make my above wishes come true?

Well, let me put it this way: I may be an optimist but I’m no idiot.

And to the rest of you who do not fit the profile of the pathetic politicians and so-called public servants above, may you have a peachy new year – may your yin and yang be in total harmony.

Egyptologists from all over the world have booked their air tickets to Kuala Lumpur following the discovery of a valley of silver mummies and the remnants of a pharaoh who is believed to be directed related to Tutankhamun.

From the inscription on the tomb, carbon testing of the silver-lined mummy case and X-ray and CT scan taken of the mummy, the pharaoh is believed to be the boy king Semua-bolehlah I from the second Amen-to-yu Dynasty (2120 BCE–2020 BCE).

Back to school today for my (Grace Ho Hwee Ling)) daughter’s Darjah 4 in the same school she had studied since the past 3 years, I had a rude shock when her teacher’s recorded her name as Grace A/P Hweeling!!!!!!! My family name Ho is gone and missing and the teacher says she simplified it with A/P. A/P mean anak perempuan. While Ho has 2 characters, A/P are 3 characters so her reasoning she simplified it is not valid. Yes, her name tag for the school uniform did print Grace Ho, and she is very famous being the only 2 Chinese girls in Darjah 4 of about 110 pupils. Famous too being a Pengawas & me being an Ahli Jawatan Kuasa in the Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru where I attended the monthly meetings with the entire Guru.

After paying for all the fees, the receipt was hand written Grace Hwee Ling!!!!#$%^&#$%^&!!
We do know the Indians uses A/P; the Muslim uses Binti; but the Chinese family can never be Grace, right?

Just about 2 months ago, a Certification of participation was given as “Grace Ho A/P Patrick Ho”. Was I hopping mad? This certificate would be useless being not the same as in the birth certificate or in the school’s register.

Previously I wrote about a nurse in a Government Hospital calling out Ho Hwee repeatedly while we were standing just about 5 feet away. Took us a few seconds to scan our heads around if that is some one else’s name. Besides we used to call her Grace. After several shouts calling out Ho Hwee, we finally responded and was met with a scolding for not responding fast. Hei, in the first

2009 was certainly a most eventful year. Let us recap on what happened in 2009 to get a better idea of what to expect this year. 2010 may yet be the year for total change, after what we saw in March 2008, when Prime Minister Najib Razak decides to call for a snap general election later this year — unless he gets cold feet and sticks to his 2011 plan.

The year 2009 definitely shows Barisan is going through the self-destruction process. And Malaysiakini has made Teoh Beng Hock (deceased) the News Maker for the Year which I would whole-heartedly endorse. Just screening through your list of events is eye-boggling. Reflect on these –
    1. During the 20-plus years of Tun M, there was so much wastage and corruption.
    2. Tun Abdullah was flip-flopping and slept through his premiership for 6 years.
    3. With just over a year as the current PM, Najib had both his hands full of scandals with MACC, PDRM, AG and the Judiciary all thrown into the spotlights
The Malaysian rakyat gonna make 2010 a year to remember for the history books of our children and our children’s children. This is going to be THE year when the final curtains come down on Barisan at the Federal level. If not 2010, we’ll do it on 2011.

RPK: How I ushered in the new year

While the IGP and AG were cracking their heads trying to figure out how to get me, I was ushering in the new year with these lovely Polish lasses. Oops….I better check if Malaysia has an extradition treaty with Poland. Ah, never mind, Europe is a big place anyway.

    Happy Nude Year!

    Thursday, 07 January 2010

SINGAPORE – As revellers flocked to clubs to ring in the New Year, they got more than they bargained for when one Caucasian man decided to mark the start of 2010 in his birthday suit!

He was standing in line to enter a club at Clarke Quay at about 1am after the countdown, when he stripped naked in full view of clubbers, according to a Straits Times report.

    Spirits down

Club security and a large number of police attempted to re-dress the situation but it only led to a game of hide and seek, much to the amusement of the crowd.

The naked man was finally subdued with a stun gun, putting a damper on New Year spirits.
