nikaziz meets indians

How is it that this can happen when some quarters call PAS Taliban?

According to P Uthayakumar’s latest statement:

“—our Hindu temple (Sri Maha Mariamman) stands right up to this day on the very main road leading into Tumpat town.  I nostalgically showed my wife and children the Hindu temple which I grew up with. It is still the history and heritage of Kelantan right up to this date.

This our Hindu temple could now be demolished or asked to be relocated as it is in a 99.99% Malay Muslim area or to be moved out of the state of Kelantan as it is in a “Serambi Mekah” State.

I believe it would not even have crossed PAS’ Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz’s mind.

This is religious co-existence in practice in 99% Malay Muslim PAS ruled Kelantan.

longest buddha

The biggest sleeping Buddha in the world is not in Thailand, Cambodia Sri Lanka or India where Buddhism originated from but it is in Kg. Neting, Tumpat Kelantan.

In multi racial and multi religious Malaysia it should be religious coexistence as opposed to religious tolerance.

Then we wont get the case of the UMNO majority and dominant area like in Section 19 and 22 of Shah Alam objecting to hindu temple because it is a Malay Muslim dominated area and the cow head protest by the religious extremist who were never arrested on sight and who would never be seriously prosecuted by the Attorney General in Prime Minister Najib Razak’s One Malaysia.

Shouldn’t UMNO feel ashamed of themselves?

  2. rainstorm says:

UMNO will not be ashamed of themselves as they think is their “birth right” to do what they want as they can’t differenciate anymore what is right and what is wrong. Their arrogant actions would lead to their downfall one day.

Indeed they’ve a lot to learn from PAS government in Kelantan as PAS government is fair to the Chinese & Indians eventhough they’re only constitute less than 6% of the total state population.

I believe every religion teaches followers to be good, kind and polite! It is those people with bad intentions who bend such teachings and become arrogant as seen in these cow-head demonstrators!

Do you find Chinese carrying the heads of khinzir to the mosque to protest? I am sure if they do so, they will be immediately arrested and put under ISA! So why is this group of nuts who carried the cow head for demonstration spared this DRACONIAN law? Or is it because “birds of a feather flock together”?

There are around 5000 votes in this area, out of 12,000. In Bagan Pinang, even if Umno put a prostitute, they will win. But we will not give up. How would bloggers help in penetrating into army camp? Please help.

Do that in the bigger stage….liKe 13th GE.

Najib: Muslims must not insult other religions

One can never trust them when they are indulging in taqiya……….

MARAN, Sept 4 — Muslims were reminded to avoid condemning or insulting other religions and the followers with their actions, but instead follow true Islamic teachings by respecting other religions.
[In 2004, he said no one should question the right of muslims to slander non muslims]

Sep 4, 09 – As far as Selangor opposition leader Mohd Khir Toyo is concerned, the controversy surrounding the cow-head protest in Shah Alam last week is just a big misunderstanding over a ‘stupid’ animal.

Curry toyol must have gone stupid eating too much beef then.

  26. wits0 says:

“..just a big misunderstanding over a ’stupid’ animal.”

There is no misunderstanding. If animals are(regarded as) stupid, humans certainly are not. The problem is the designed failure to accord respect to your peers but instead elevate yourselves above others. And then dress it up in double speak.

  27. vellupillai says:

But what Raja Petra complains of is true. Non-Malays living in the vicinity of mosques in Kuala Lumpur hear this call to arms against the non-Muslims through high-pitches megaphones often enough to be dismissed as untrue. I suspect Dr Yusof is annoyed a Muslim has spilled the beans; if a non-Muslim had done so, he could be ignored. Perhaps Dr Yusof should also tell us if Christmas carols mentioning Jesus should be banned at a Christmas party organised by the government. Was there a ban? Of course there was. Father OC Lim, who questioned it, is too senior in the Roman Catholic Church, and not a high Muslim cleric, to shoot his mouth off. The minister had to step in to defuse it, and insist it was only a suggestion. But that only proves what Raja Petra said. This fracas is another example of Islamic extremism.

The political reaction is even more bizarre. “We will investigate who is responsible for this website, and action will be taken as we cannot allow such websites to sow seeds of hatred among the people of different races and religions.” So says Dato’ Seri Najib. The import of what he says is more frightening: the people cannot, but the muftis and Islamic religious can sow religious hatred.

    -MggPillai [2004]

  28. vellupillai says:

THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT BARRED, cavalierly, any mention of Jesus Christ in carols sung at a christmas party it would host. When a Roman Catholic priest objected, in public, it was denied, and blamed on an overzealous civil servant. But it would not go away. It happens too often. Zealous Muslim preachers call on Muslims, at Friday prayers, to treat non-Muslims as an underclass beyond redemption. When a Muslim questioned it, he was excoriated for letting the Muslims down.

Two Malaysian Catholics have lodged a police report against the Al Islam magazine over an article in which a Muslim journalist took the holy communion at a Kuala Lumpur parish before taking the wafer from his mouth and photographing it.

The journalist, whose byline in the article was Muhd Ridhwan Abdul Jalil, described the holy communion ritual as “upacara makan roti putih” (“white bread eating ceremony”) and wrote about how he was given the wafer by the priest. The article also carried a photograph of the wafer with a caption that identified it as the wafer that was placed in his mouth.

Xavier and Stanley in a press statement said they were “outraged that these Muslim men consumed it (the communion) only to spit it out later, have it photographed, and have its image published.”

  35. PAS, PR for ALL says:

This report has just come about the right time, especially after the cow head protest, and the cowhead stompings by the ultras, and you know whom. Our forefathers who were brainwashed since independence by the Perikatan folks, i.e “as non-Muslims, never vote for PAS”. We were definitely very scared of PAS and its Islamic ideology which was not clear, and let us be frank, which they were unable to share with the vast majority of Malayans at that time as we do not have the net and all the modern news media. To the Chinese, Perikatan said, do not vote PAS because of Islam, and to the Malays, they told them, do not vote DAP because it is a Chinese chauvinist party, but over the period of time, and with the advent of the alternative media, things certainly had changed!

Today, we have an elite group of Malays who dare to openly work with the DAP, and who speaks and canvassed votes actively for the DAP, and we have an equally different breed of Chinese and Indians who openly canvassed and carried the flags of PAS during elections. This certainly augurs well for the rakyat of the country, while the BN continue with their rascists agenda. Little by little by the day, whatever support they have continues to erode.

Honestly, we cannot continue to be misled by the BN led government, they had misled our grandfathers, our fathers and now certainly, we should wake up and not to allow them to continue to mislead us and our children. There is only one way for us all of us if we continue to blindly support BN i.e DOOM!

The politician that deserves the respect of all Malaysians irregardless of race or religion is undoubtedly one man, and he is none other than the Tok Guru of Kelantan! A man of substance, he never wavered from his beiefs and stand! He never shirked from his responsibility and is never fickle, or flip flop. He is the model that all PAS politicians should follow and Malaysians will present the Government to PAS.

But first and foremost, get rid of that Hassan Ali guy, this guy is dangerous and is flirting openly with UMNO. I regretted in voting him in 1999, that made him an MP, but after that, the constituents never saw him again. Because of his poor service record, PAS lost the constituency in the next general election, but took back the seat in 2008. It would be good if Hassan Ali declares himself and independent who is friendy to the BN, rather than sticking to PAS when his heart is hell bent on becoming the Menteri Besar of Selangor. The same applies to Nasharuddin Mat Isa, we do not need you in PR. I was really taken in by his rationale during one of the many “Debat Perdana” and he gave many a false sense of security that it is safe to vote for PAS, but then you can see his true colours after the 2008, political tsunami. The desire to be a Minister, is so irresistible, and the true Nasharuddin showed its colour. Please leave PR and join BN, please! Luckily, we have the Tok Guru with us and who had provened to all Malaysians, that even in a state where the population is 99.9% Malays, racial harmony and religious tolerance is something that PAS is proud to foster and promote and it can exhibit this to the world, unlike the cowhead stompers from UMNO!!!!!!

Long Live Tok Guru! Hidup Tok Guru, Malaysians of all walks of life, love you. May God bless you with many years of good health and happiness.

    Cow-head meeting descends into chaos
By Syed Jaymal Zahiid and Neville Spykerman

SHAH ALAM, Sept 5 — The town hall meeting called today by Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to hold dialogue over the recent cow-head protest controversy has descended into chaos, with around 300 residents from Section 23 jeering and mocking the ongoing meeting.

Proceedings barely got off the ground before the protesters started shouting and booing at Khalid, along with Khalid Samad (MP for Shah Alam), and Shah Alam mayor Mazalan Md Noor.

Despite calls for calm, the ruckus is continuing with the upset residents yelling “Penipu!” (liar!) and “Bodoh!” (stupid!) when the Khalid attempted to address them.

Tempers are increasingly frayed, with protesters starting to get rowdier, some standing on their chairs while shouting.

Last Friday, a group of 50 protesters from the Section 23 area in Shah Alam held a demonstration in front of the state secretariat building to protest the planned relocation of the 150-year-old Sri Mahamariamman Temple to Section 23 from Section 19. They brandished a severed head of a cow at the protest.

The 150-year-old temple was built on a plantation which over the years was developed into housing estates by the Selangor Development Corporation (PKNS). No provisions were made to relocate the temple, which is now in the middle of a Muslim majority area.

    p. 262

There were other leaders, with less difficult messages. Missionaries (from Indian and Pakistan) had brought the idol-smashing message to Malaysia. They had worked out, from various books they had consulted, how many thousands of years in paradise a Muslim earned for every idol he smashed; and they had calculated that a grand total of thirty smashed idols won a Muslim the jackpot, an eternity in paradise.

The Malay rage was really about the Chinese shrines – some no more than concrete boxes – that were everywhere in the towns (there were two just outside the Holiday Inn). But the Chinese were powerful, and had their secret societies. The Tamil Hindus were a small, pacific community. So Hindu images were smashed. On many nights – during a three week period in 1978 – Tamil temples were desecrated.

Then, at the Kerling temple, there was a tragedy. A group of five idol-smashers (at least two university students among them) were met by eight temple guards. Four of the idol-smashers were killed. Idol-smashing stopped after that. And now – more important than the Temerloh temple case – was the trial of the eight Kerling guards on charges of “culpable homicide not amounting to murder.”

Hahaha! Not surprising! The way the rascists UMNO acts at the dialouge organized by the PR Govt. to relocate the temple. It is good and great to show everyone the real and true colours of UMNO. Action speaks louder than words and what we saw is what actually took place. The act of sabotage took place because they fear the public will realize how much the PR Govt. are with the rakyat. An excellent example is the way the PR Govt. fought for though without thanks for the KBP folks. Without which they would probably be squatting today.

What have you gotta say now UMNO? The winds of change from Indonesia, Thailand had swept Taiwan and Japan and it only half swept Malaysia in March 2008. Like the tsunami, it only affected part of Malaysia. Let us hope that the winds of change will sweep and make sure it blows strong and thorough from Peninsular to East Malaysia and let the UMNO regime be history. Look at Indonesia today, what the wind of change had done to the country, a more prosperous and corrupt free Indonesia. Growing day to day and from strength to strength every day, with their economy flourishing, and our Barang Naik Government, having to increase the price of fuel to increase their income to fill their empty coffers! Their policy remains, if the coffer is empty, harga Barang Naik and they get to fill their coffers again. If not, allow more special 4d draws, that is the only way they know how to fill their coffers. Will they ever learn? Hahaha, the price of fuel had fallen and not increased since thier statements that world price of crude had increased.

Let us hope Malaysians of all walks of life realized what changes can do. Indonesia had done so well after the winds of change swept through Indonesia with the demise of the Golkar, Thailand is recovering, Taiwan had done well and Japan, Japan, too had kicked the LDP out. Singapore is shivering and when will Malaysians wake up and with one heart and determination kick the present UMNO led regime out for good. We can vote them in if the PR does not perform and if they repent and not cause unnecessary rifts between the people of all races of Malaysia.

No wonder Bolehland people are still living on trees, mountains and caves…

No wonder the Umnoputras are so ‘advanced and progressive’ as compared to the Kelantan Talibans so much so that the Umnoputras can practice aberrant religious politics with impunity, and nobody can dispute this bizzare theory.

  65. logical theory says:

This religious belief is nothing but only a belief and it’s only an unproven theory and it’s only an apocryphal.

Those who are using religion in politics are nothing but amoral.

Where is the logic with this new millennium, advanced information and communication technological age, there are still people playing religions in politics, this is utterly an anachronism.

You know why Bolehland is besieged with all kinds of problems springing from religions?

Why we have this cow head problem in Shah Alam? Isn’t this tied to religions?

Religion is not a logical solution to the labyrinth of problems in Bolehland. To the contrary, it compounds the problems in Bolehland.

  66. logical theory says:

Therefore the logical theory is that religion should not be mired into politics, else Bolehland will be like in the Middle-east with all kinds of religious problems pitting one people with another people.

This is a proven logical theory and it’s only wise if Bolehlanders must separate religion from politics.

Haiya, the British colonial master was the chief culprit in allowing this religion in politics in Bolehland so that Bolehlanders would forever living in chaos- quarreling and fighting among the Bolehlanders.

This is the hallmark of our former British masters and Bolehlanders are falling into their trap. Our former British Masters created problems not only in Bolehland but all over the world la before they deserted the colonized countries.

If something is wrong in Bolehland, it’s only logical to right the wrong using proven logical theory!

Don’t be like an otak udang believing something which is seriously wrong in the policy can still work out perfectly for all!

It’s time for Tik Tok Guru to retire and Pas must bungus together with him for the benefits of all in Bolehland!

The PAS & UMNO palat-i-bans have won. Indians get out of Sek.23 so malay property prices can go up, better still get out of Shah Alam and go to Subang Jaya or Puchong before the palat-i-bans come to your houses and you begin to hear bells. For the time being cower in fear.

    # Mahatma Gandhi on Muslim massacres of Hindus and Sikhs: “I would tell the Hindus to face death cheerfully if the Muslims are out to kill them. I would be a real sinner if after being stabbed I wished in my last moment that my son should seek revenge. I must die without rancour. … You may turn round and ask whether all Hindus and all Sikhs should die. Yes, I would say. Such martyrdom will not be in vain.”

    * He criticised refugees fleeing the Pakistani jihad, and told them to go back and die: “I am grieved to learn that people are running away from the West Punjab and I am told that Lahore is being evacuated by the non-Muslims. I must say that this is what it should not be. If you think Lahore is dead or is dying, do not run away from it, but die with what you think is the dying Lahore.”

    # Hitler actually explicitly said that Gandhi’s tactics would not have worked with him. At a meeting with Lord Halifax in 1937, Hitler advised the British to: “Shoot Gandhi – and if that does not suffice to reduce them to submission, shoot a dozen leading members of Congress; and if that does not suffice, shoot two hundred and so on until order is established. You will see how quickly they will collapse as soon as you make it clear that you mean business.”

I think this is Kelantan led by Nik Aziz. We cannot equate his leadership style and tolerance with PAS. Look at PAS Terengganu, under Hadi. Look at the potential of PAS rule in Selangor under Hasan, I don need to mention what he has done/said. He’s not even the MB, yet he overule the MB of the state!!!

After living together in multi-racial Malaysia for so long, what if these days the silent-majority Malays (as compared to the Umnoised or Pakatanised Malays) are less tolerant of other religions?
If an accurate polling was done, and the result is so, that could be the end of Malaysia as you know it.
    Just think about it.

It means that modern, middle-class, urban, educated Malays have become more ‘Islamic’ in the sense that I would call as narrow-Taleban Islamic, kill-all-kafir types.

One would like to think he should have learnt his lesson from that but the people of Malaysia should know by now he will never learn because it is in his blood. How can a dog roar !
His support for the cow head incident will get back at him soon or in the next GE but whenever it is let us all not forget to have him kicked out in the next GE at the latest. Do not forget to come out to have him and in particular kick out UMNO in the next GE !

Be aware of the reality, that PAS has 2 factions:

    1. The moderate Erdogans — lead by Nik Aziz, Kelantan shows the example of “multi racial and multi religious Malaysia”…

    2. The extreme Radicals — led by Hadi Awang, consist mainly hardline Islamic fundemntalists, who are also racists on top of religious extremists!!!

BE VERY CAREFUL of this group, don’t ever vote them in, come GE-13, voters better put in “Spoilt Votes” instead of voting them in, or else we will get more of HASSAN ALI’s in our assemblies, that may give us our WORST NIGHTMARES…

We all know that even in the Arab countries the Hotels serve pork it served almost alongside the beef, lam and chicken, here it seems that even looking at pork can be sinful.

Take a closer look at things and you’ll discover that the Halal label is being used to try and create a monopoly. Why, not too long ago there was on ad on radio of a a halal credit card, just imagine a credit card becoming haram, and an other halal.

This is a poly by UMNO to rid the country of the Chinese businessman, our friends in MCA are busy fighting for their own individual political rights they do not even have an inkling of what is happening.

With the growing Malay population Chinese and Indian businesses will be rendered useless by this Hallal thing, it is happening, even in cordials they use a halal label, in the future there will be halal and non Halal shops, and later on only Muslims will be able to operate and own such shops, that will put all no Muslims out of business.

  94. vsp says:

The cow-head protesters said that the cow is stupid. Anyway who is the most stupid – the cow or the Muslim rabble-rousers?

A cow is a very patient animal, it is hard-working and it provides labour and food to mankind and it never complains. But these rabble-rousers are lazy, sacrilegious and mentally unstable. They despise God’s gift by stomping and spitting on the cow. Worse, being Muslims they should be showing the world what true Islam is. Alas, it was not to be, instead they became possessed with hate and evil and threatened death and violence to those who disagree with them. They were not amenable to any kind of rational dialogue. All these being displayed in the holy month of Ramadan and behind the backdrop of the “1Malaysia” slogan. Truly the tolerant Islam is flushed into the toilet bowl by these hypocrites.

Malaysians used to be tolerant with each other. But years of UMNO rule has breed a group of uncivilised bigots who destroy this treasure house of understanding and respect. These bigots only know how to take but never give in return. These so-called religious rubbish love to worship power and money and they are willing to misuse Islam to justify corruption, cruelty, incivility and uncouth behaviour.

O Malaysia! weep for the lost innocence, welcome to bigotry.

  95. Menyalak-er says:

“…that will put all nonMuslims out business.” (gdp 7.03pm)
I beg to differ. About 80% of “halal” big business and manufacturing are operated by the nons. Notice the halal certification on almost all your snack-foods, beverages, sauces etc? In fact the Halal certification is a boon to Malaysian manufacturing – it’s just that the goonies have their own concept of haram/halal.
Do you think they can run the Islamic Banking System by themselves? Pok-kai before 6 months! It is not incompetence – it’s their corruption and blaise’ attitude. Fact is, the Kelantanese are shrewd businessmen and entrepreneurs, especially the women.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 – Fugitive blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin is taking his fight to the government with a series of video interviews that are expected to be posted on the Internet from this Thursday.

His popular Malaysia Today website began airing a trailer yesterday to promote the video interviews. In the short trailer, RPK, as he is popularly known, is shown talking about what he claims is government persecution against him.

“They already decided on my crime and the punishment I am getting without investigations,” he is shown saying.

He also comments on the continuing debate about Islam. He says in the trailer: “Muslims are the biggest enemies of Islam, not the kafir (infidels).”

And how did they perform this demonstration for the YB?

“She tapped the back of a chair with the cane……….. (don’t you just love that statement? – PT)

And the kicker I will always remember him saying immediately after his non-muhibbah insults:

“Kamu jangan marah. Ini bukan opinion, ini FAKTA.”

(”You all don’t get offended. This is not opinion, this is FACT.”)

There were 1000 students in the hall with me that hour of that day who can attest to my story.
