altan-najib

Sorry, guys. No time to comment. Busier than a bee. So here’s something for you to think about (total cut and paste, apologies to Malaysiakini). Don’t know what Altantuya would think, though. Her birthday falls on May 6th. So, what about an Altantuya Memorial day? It would be a day also to think/remember/renew our questions/quest for justice for those who died mysteriously and those who went missing and NEVER found.

‘Sue or we stage mock funeral for Altantuya’
Athi Veeranggan | Apr 30, 09 12:35pm
A PKR leader has challenged Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to sue all the international media groups that linked him to the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu or face a mammoth nationwide mock funeral procession for the slain Mongolian national.
MCPX

after permatang talk badrul hishamIn issuing the ultimatum at a public forum in Penang last night, PKR supreme council member Badrul Hisham set nomination day for the Penanti by-election (May 23) as the dateline for Najib to file his suits against the media groups across the globe.

“If he has nothing to do with the murder, Najib should immediately sue those international newspapers, some 19 of them, that linked him to the gruesome killing,” he said.

Badrul, the PKR Rembau division chief, told this to some 1,000 people in a hard-hitting speech during the forum held at a municipal wet market complex in Bayan Baru.

If Najib failed to meet the dateline, Badrul, commonly known as “Chegu Bard”, warned that he will lead a mammoth convoy of cars and trucks carrying a coffin of Altantuya’s effigy from Rembau to Penanti during the by-election campaign.

PKR national election machinery director and Machang parliamentarian Saifuddin Nasution, local assemblypersons Abdul Malik Kassim (Batu Maung), Sim Tze Tzin (Pantai Jerejak) and V Raventhiran (Batu Uban) also spoke at the forum organised by PKR Bayan Baru division’s Youth wing.

‘Remote controlled by Dr M’

Meanwhile, an enveloped package, containing translated copies of foreign newspaper reports on the Altantuya murder, and a book and a video compact disc on an alleged assault crime committed by Minister in Prime Minister’s Department Ahmad Zahid Hamidi enjoyed brisk sales at the forum.

najib and altantuya murder french liberation newspaper article 110309Within minutes after Badrul introduced the RM10 package, which had Altantuya’s photograph on the cover, some 1,000 envelopes were sold like hot cakes.

The package is set for brisk sales during the Penanti by-election campaign period.

Badrul said he could not help but take a swipe at Najib over the Altantuya episode for it involved the image, reputation and pride of the country’s prime minister.

“When the prime minister is implicated in such a crime, the country is at risk of being controlled by the foreign powers. We risk international condemnation,” said Badrul.

In his speech, Saifuddin called on the government to explain the reasons behind the lack of congratulatory messages from governments around the world for Najib’s appointment as the country’s sixth prime minister.

“Is it because of the (Altantuya’s) articles that appeared in 19 international newspapers?” he asked.

mahathir cyberjaya lecture 220409 q&a sessionHe said although Najib was against Umno contesting the Penanti by-election, the party would eventually field a candidate because “the prime minister is just a puppet of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.”

Since Mahathir wanted Umno to challenge PKR in Penanti, he said Najib would follow orders because “the former premier is the remote controller of the current premier.”

“Najib does not have the backbone to stand up against his old master. This is dangerous because it would revive Mahathirism and send Malaysia back to the dark ages,” he said.

It is appropriate to have this Memorial Day to remember an innocent lost soul and also remind Malaysians what a bloody govt. they have.
What a shame we Malaysians should feel when such a heinous crime is commited and the main perpetrators go unpunished.

URGENT MESSAGE TO YB LIM KIAT SIANG, DAP & PKR

    NOTICE TO REMOVE PERAK SPEAKER

Please get your legal eagles moving on it PRONTO!

If the notice was dated 23rd April 2009 (last Thursday) the it clearly does not comply with the requirement of 14 clear days notice.

If you exclude week-ends and public holidays (e.g. 1st May – labour day) when the State Assembly does not sit, then there’s no way that 2nd hand car salesman Camry can comply with the legal requirements of the State Assembly for notice of any motion.

If Camry next resorts to an emergency motion, this can easily be thrown out by YB Sivakumar as ‘not being urgent or in the interest of the public!’

So, please investigate and act swiftly especially since every M’sian knows the UMNO MB’s appointment is illegal and has not been resolved by the Ipoh High Court.

All after the country was made safe when the confrontation was over. Umno usurper of a situation made safe through the sacrifices of many others to serve their own narrow agenda in the manner of “means justifying the ends” – something that isn’t so different from all bad subversive ideologies known in modern times including defunct communism.

If Prime Minister Najib Razak and his supporters think the fuss surrounding the murder-and-commission case of beautiful Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaariibuu will fade now that two policemen have been found guilty and sentenced to hang for her killing, then they couldn’t be more wrong.

Judging by the way Malaysians snapped up material detailing her horrific murder by ruthless people, the 28-year old Altantuya – who was pregnant when she was shot in face and then bombed to pieces to avoid identification – is set to become part of national folklore.

Much the same as actress Marilyn Monroe – allegedly the mistress of a former president – is in US political history.

More than 1,000 packets containing translated copies of foreign news reports on the Altantuya story were sold out within minutes. The pack also contained a book plus VCD on an assault alleged to have been committed by Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Vendors who priced the pack at RM10 each had set up stall at a forum organised by Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s Bayan Baru Youth wing on Wednesday night.

The man, Amir Bazli Abdullah, 37, claimed that he suffered facial disfigurement after being beaten up badly by the minister and several men in January last year.

He said that besides a broken nose, hisforehead was ‘dented’ after being struck by a ‘hard object’ followed by a large rock.

He alleged that he was only allowed to go after promising not to report the incident to the police, but decided to do it 11 months later, in December.

Amir, a divorced father of two, claimed that he could not support himself and his children because of his injuries.

He said: ‘I don’t want to be scared anymore. I want justice to be served to those who did this to me…

‘I understand that it involves a high-profile figure and his associates, but I thought no one is above the law.’

He said he first met Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who was then deputy tourism minister, and one of his daughters during a Merdeka superbike convoy in 2005.

Amir claimed that he dated the daughter for several months until trouble arose on 16 Jan last year.

He alleged that he was at a petrol station near Kajang when he was approached by a man known to him as the driver of the deputy minister’s wife.

He claimed that the man forced him into his car along with a male associate, claiming that his ‘boss’ wanted a word with him.

  62. pasarmalam says:

He said the man also told him to turn off his handphone and drive according to instructions while several cars followed behind.

Amir said: ‘I was taken to a recreational club where another car emerged soon after and the minister stepped out with one of his sons and son-in-law, who is also the son of another political figure.’

Amir alleged that he was then attacked by everyone present.

He added: ‘It was only around 2am that I was allowed to go, but only after I promised the deputy minister to not inform the police.’

He claimed that he was hospitalised for at least a week because of his injuries.
Amir said that he has filed a summons to claim for damages as he is no longer able to support himself and his children. The summons was filed on 5 Jul through lawyer Karpal Singh’s company.

Let the 2 narrow agenda umno dudes mentioned slug it out. I don’t go there either because these are dissimulators/spinners trying to ensnare unwary passerbys into their swill and of course they do sometimes add in a little truth to hide the half truths and total lies behind them.

In fact I don’t even go to Maverick’s blog though it’s more straight. certainly not to KTemoc’s although we’re on “talking terms”.

How about having a memorial day for Malaysian politics, judicial justice, egalitarianists, honest and clean servants….

There are so many things in Malaysia to be commemorated.

Might as well have a memorial day for the death of democracy of Malaysia!

  82. memorial day my foot says:

The politicians in Malaysia are the murderers of democracy in Malaysia.

  83. memorial day my foot says:

There will never worth holding a memorial day if Tun Mamakkutty is still can tock kock freely in cyber space and not brought to justice by sending him to jail and all the loots he plundered from Malaysia during his despotic rule in Malaysia for 22 yeras and returning to the poor rakyat!

  84. memorial day my foot says:

Malaysia should ceased operations completely until this Mahakutty from Kelara is in jail!

Else all can go to holland and an our Mr. Malaysian rpk can still hide in a rat hole!

  85. memorial day my foot says:

Malaysians are just a bunch of jokers who like to be sodomized eternally by endemic politicians- whether BN or PR!

  86. memorial day my foot says:

As long as the endemic power crazy politicians can hold on to their posts ala in a dynasty, there will be no democracy in Malaysia!

Vote all these power crazy politicians- whether BN or PR- out now for the sake of democracy of Malaysia.

  87. memorial day my foot says:

All these endemic power crazy politicians are the real traitors and worst public enemies of the rakyats in Malaysia.

  88. memorial day my foot says:

Never trust all these endemic power crazy politicians- Bn or PR. All their rhetorics are music to the ears only.

All these endemic power crazy politicians-BN or PR- They don’t practice what they preached.

  89. memorial day my foot says:

The only way to stop them from telling lies eternally is to cast stones on them or cut off their tongues from their mouths completely.

  90. memorial day my foot says:

Beware to the endemic power crazy politicians, your day is numbered and get lost from politics now b4 it’s too late.

Don’t wait until the day when you are in this man’s position!

Please remember!!! The rakyats will have no mercy on you when your day comes!!!

  91. memorial day my foot says:

My dear beloved rakyats, Malaysia is in such a quagmire because of all these endemic power crazy politicians.

The only aim of the rakyats must focus on getting rid on all these power crazy politicians.

Then there is a bright future for us and our children.

But you are not wrong. A memorial day for Altantunya would actually include all that you lament, death of judiciary, democracy, honesty, declining civil service etc etc and all so much more.
Imagine how colourful the celebrations would be with all that variety.
Yes May 6, the Death Of Dem O` Cracy as M`sians have elevated the murderer to lead them. So m`sians will pay the price.

Everywhere they are commemorated in the roads, buildings institutions named after them. You are a pendatang from bangladesh if you dunno that even.
Lucky immigration is on your case and will take care of you soon. You can try bribing them of course to evade the kajang detention camp.

  95. wits0 says:

“Dem O` Cracy”, alright, since the tainted ‘leaders’ and party seem to get rewarded to the highest places for so many decades past.

  96. bee yong says:

Come On Kassim. Dignity? What about hyprocritsy? Prostitution is the ‘oldest profession’ on this earth, way, way before you are born. It involve one dignified customer to pay for the service of sex from another dignified provider. Compare this dignified profession to thieves (Perak), murderers (Aminah) and hyprocites (holier than thou) is like comparing Manchester United and Proton United.
