Hah! There are certainly more than 2 jokers who should not be in Najib’s cabinet. (What is Mahathir babbling about?)

The most laughable thing is that Mahathir has become a FLIP FLOP just like  the one he criticised so badly (Pak Lah). Earlier Mahathir said the cabinet was “positive” and now?

The first and formost one who should be booted out of the cabinet is the prime minister himself!

His baggage weighs a million tons (no wonder Bernama calls him Naif  TON Rasa), as there are too many questions surrounding his premiership.

Forget Altantuya, forget the murder. Forget Baginda, Sirul or Azilah. Forget even Dottie.

As far as many are concerned, Najib is merely UMNO’s PM (some faction only at that), not Malaysians. Who among you want Najib to be your PM? Not me, not any of the people I know, certainly.

This is the fundamental question all Malaysians and newspapers must ask. Alas, the media is miserable (by Dean Johns), and Malaysians have no choice in this matter.

What about Muhkriz? Mahathir seems to have closed his eyes to his baby and ignores the fact that while he castigates others like Nazri and Johari (which I totally agree should not be in the cabinet, either), Muhkriz’s presence presents a total conflict of interest, for Najib, that is.

Conflict of interest because Mahathir has specifically picked Naif to be PM, paving the way for whatever self interest the old man has in the fortunes of this country.

And then, right before our eyes, Muhkriz the loser enters the cabinet! No shame at all !

Already, the whole world knows that Mahathir is pulling the (apron) strings of Najib’s (kitchen) cabinet. Ok, Najib tries to be brave by going against Mahathir once in awhile.

But do you think we are fools?

Why on earth is Muhkriz on the cabinet? He is a loser. And has shown no achievement except for some miserable letter he sent to the former PM, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. He didn’t even dare resign from UMNO.

In that respect, Mahathir had more balls, though I never wished to see his balls.

What about Koh Tsu Koon? That’s another loser. The losses are numerous. First of all, in betraying Malaysians,to allow Gerakan to be used by UMNO to widen the rift between the races. Not to mention the plundering of Penang, and the sorry state of affairs of the Penang Municipal Council.

Next is Noh Omar, who in his own words  say “I am a deputy minister, why should I jeorpadise the image of the country?”. He did exactly that by asking foreigners to ‘balik‘ (leave the country if they do not like what is happening here.

How about Ong Tee Keat? Has he come clean in his ‘nothing to hide’ stance on the RM4.6B PKFZ scandal?  Quite embarassing lah.

Oh, the list goes on and on…and on….. !

Maybe you can help me list down, or rather, we can tell Mahathir, who else shouldn’t be in this cabinet.

I am sure if we all get to tell the truth, the cabinet would be ‘kosong’ (empty) very soon.

The most we can find in it are skeletons!

There some more other then Nazri and Johari, over time TDM will make the all important cleaning of the party and help Najib shine. We can see that our ekonomi not so bad as other countries. As BN win in Penanti cannot be stopped, from there Najib will move the nation to greater ekonomik successful. As TDM is master stateman and stratagis, when Mukhriz come in to PM, we will be 1st ekonomikally strong country in SEA, and maybe world.

People, have you ever notice that Malaysia must be the only country in the world where the DPM fights for visibility and limelight with the PM? I find this comical.

In most other countries you don’t even know who is the Deputy PM or Vice President.

The DPM is given too much respect. He should be invisible and only come into the picture in the unfortunate event that the PM dies in office (like Razak) or have to resign in disgrace (like Nixon).

The whole cabinet is actually pathetic…of course Bodowi’s cabinet was far worst .. (Albur was outstanding.. his stupidity of course!)Muklis & KTK are losers and shown the exit by the people but Umno/Bn pull them in through the back door to cabinet … our education level has slide down rapidly over the years ..to the point that the quality of our ministers are a misery to watch them speak and sometimes act as bafoons in their respective position….they make themselves a fool and a laughing stock for the people…the best brain for the jobs are out there or simply working in another country.. The mamak kutty has ruin every sector during his reign as the PM…and Malaysia has in fact degress , fallen back and still sliding backward… our local graduates are a pathetic lot…when passing marks are lowered to enable the Malays to be on par with other races…the outcome are obvious..they are simply not capable to face the reality of life and neither has the capacity to handle a high profile jobs…of course not all of them falls into this catergory…as there are those Malays who are capable to stand on their own..but overall the scenario is there for all to see… The best way is to get things done on merit…the best gets it…The mamak kutty is always emphasising on race and religion as that the best way to keep the people divided…. once the Rakyat are UNITED the problem will be for the BN regime as they can’t go on robbing and plundering the nation as they are doing the last 30 years and now…their movement will be checked. BN can put any Dollah, Samy and Ah Chong in the cabinet for the matter…but we deserve a better quality and a better government with transparency, accountability and a capable government who will work with the interest of the Rakyat and not their own interest…. GE13 will decide that….!!!

In Javanese the word Melayu means running away, or a runaway, that is why if you go to Java and ask a Javanese if he is Melayu he will feel very insulted. The word Melayu thus denotes that this person was a Melayu, a “Runaway.”

These people the runaways whether in Sumatra or in the Malay Peninsula referred to themselves as orang Melayu, it is therefore no coincidence that the word orang is placed before Melayu, people who ran away so to speak.

In the Malay Peninsular it was gradually accepted as the word to describe the Javanese, the Bugis, the Menang, the Achinese etc. and even the Kelantanese who are actually Yunanese and have their origins in China, because they recognized the fact that at the end of the day they were all Melayu, or Run Aways from their respective homelands the word was accepted by all these communities to describe themselves.

In fact before the formation of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) it is a fact that all the people in the country had referred to themselves as Menang, Achinese, Bugis, Java etc. etc. and we all know that the Kelantanese used to treat the other Melayu, that is the Menang, Java the Bugis etc. as foreigners.

Well for that matter even Mahathir Mohammed was registered as Indian in King Edwards College where he studied medicine.

    Reform, or face extinction
    April 8, 2009

That is the only conclusion UMNO and BN can honestly take from the just concluded Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau by-elections.

And that people power has found a firm footing, has rooted well, and will not be easily blown away.

Read it any other way and UMNO and BN will pay dearly at the next GE, the Sarawak state elections and every other by-election that comes our way.

And by reform, I do not mean of the cosmetic kind.

Like giving us the MACC or the JAC!

Or freeing 13 ISA detainees just before polling day!

That’s an insult to the intelligence and common sense of the average Malaysian which, as may surprise many in UMNO and BN, ought not to be underestimated.

    Can BN reform?

Yes, but not under its present leadership.

Najib and the current crop of UMNO leaders are too integral to the very problem that plagues BN.

As are the top leaders of all the component parties.

Samy, Tsu Khoon, the Ongs, Taib Mahmud.

    They’re all the same.

Self-serving politicians, interested in holding on to power only to serve their own ends.

If ever BN had the interest of the people as their first and only port of call, that ceased a long time ago after Dr M took the helm.

  72. It`s On says:

Dr M’s close brush with defeat in the 1986 UMNO elections brought out the worst in him, and it was that side of him that stayed with us for the rest of his tenure.

His ‘retain power at all costs’ philosophy cost us dearly.

Henceforth, to avoid another challenge to his authority, he promoted to high office those who were seen to be subservient and docile.

And more often than not, incompetent.

His own belated admission about his mistake in appointing Pak Lah as his successor bears testimony to this.

He crippled the judiciary, then appointed to high judicial office men and women who were pliant.

And in his time, he encouraged a culture that would create a pool of super-rich Malays, whose wealth was not generated from honest, hard work, but by the shuffling of papers and paper transactions.

The ‘get-rich-quick Malay’, the ‘I want money for nothing’ generation of Malays owes its birth and growth to Dr M.

Dr M allowed corruption to flourish.

Both in UMNO and the government.

This was his most powerful control tool.

These sub-sectors are in the areas of health and social services, tourism services, transport services, business services and computer and related services,” said Najib.

All pariah Mahathir wants is to be appointed as ‘Advisor’ to the government so that he can continue to rob the country.
The pariah will surely shut his bloody mouth if he was appointed as Advisor or be given any appointment in the government.
Why is it he would flip flop on whatever he says one day a few days later in recent times ? It is only clear evidence of this pariah’s evil intention and the pariah he is. Can a leopard changes its spots ?
It is just one way to protect himself and his children’s ill gotten wealth from being exposed and seized back !
To do that, I would suggest, the best thing they can do, is to immigrate to Pakistan or Bangladesh, the places they rightly belong to,had their ancestor not chosen to immigrate to Malaya. They would have gone there, to begin with, when parts of India became East and West Pakistan for the Indian Muslims. It is, however, better late than never, pariah Mahathir and his descendants ?
The pariah never did anything good for the India Malaysians during his term as P.M.for fear that it would then prove he is truly Indian !
A real Malay does not have to prove anything.

The little ‘achieved’ by the Indians were not with his help or with his partner-in-crime, Samy Vellu’s help. But rather by the sheer determination of the Indians themselves.
There is an unanswered question though. Why are these two Indians selling out the rest of the Indian Malaysians ? By the same token the same goes with all the leaders of the component parties of BN, they
all will or have retired filthy rich.

  87. wits0 says:

Or, to put it simply, don’t we understand why some tired and tattered words have no great meaning at all for their association with qualities that are less than prestigious or have good report? Guess who is responsible for corrupting them?

  88. Karim Abdullah says:

To be fair the issue was raised originally regarding the probity of certain members of the government not their capabilities. Koh, Sharizat and Mukhriz have all lost elections at one time or another (so did Tun Mahathir himself many moons ago as did Winston Churchill and David Lloyd-George amongst others) but this alone is not a determining factor on their fitness to rule in a democratic society.

We should be looking at those who are less than clean, less than transparent and do not have the public’s confidence to discharge their duties with integrity. To expose those characters may not be easy but cheap shots about losing internal elections is not the way to elevate debate.

Song: This Umno-dominated BN government never fails to amaze people with the excuses they can give.

In rejecting the motion of no-confidence against Ali Rustam, Speaker Othman Muhamad said that there was no urgency because it is not a natural disaster and it was not of public interest.

Money politics is equal to corruption. In its present state in our beloved nation, it drains away taxpayers money. And this fellow did not see it as urgent to accept the motion?

If allegations of corruption involving a state leader is not of public interest, what is?

If getting rid of corrupted leaders is not a priority of Najib’s Umno-dominated BN government, then what is?

Umno itself found it proper to stop Ali Rustam from progressing any higher and I believe it is because Umno saw the damage he can do to the party.

But here the speaker has effectively allowed this Ali to continue to helm the state when his integrity is questionable.

More mind-boggling is that while Umno saw it fit to bar Ali from the Umno election (they must have cogent evidence to do so), Najib’s Umno did not see it fit to require his resignation as the CM of Malacca.

What is your message here Othman and Najib? Umno’s interest is greater than the nation’s, the state’s and the rakyat’s?

With this, no assembly speaker will be able to do his job from now on.

The federal court has set the precedent but it may refuse to follow its own decision when Gobind’s case comes before them.

This will clearly show that they are subservient to the commands of the ‘magicians’ who wave their wands from the corridors of power in Putrajaya.

‘Thrice she put me on waiting for moderation’ To be fair, it is not Susan but her spam control. Your comments will get stuck if the interval between your postings (esp. the long one) is brief. Using repetitive words will also cause your comment to be caught. When you try to mask your IP or using dynamic IP, the spam might stop the posting. Etc, etc, etc. Personally, if there is a KPI for freedom to comment, Susan should get top marks. Why lah….you also rant and rave meh. Give lah credit where credit is due. Just for you, methinks DSN has been quite proactive in his administration till date (albeit, the Greek warning about gifts). However, many do not like his method of handling Perak and the frogs. Notice that no Federal or State laws have been repealed or amended. Its just a administrative fiat to temporarily set aside mandatory NEP restrictions, mainly due to the dire straits the economy is facing.

He’s just recycling the Maha s/o Iskandar Kutty playbook. We’ve all been down this road before, in the 1998 crisis. After the economy recovers, the NEP regulations are reimposed, and you are given 3 years to comply.

A friend of mine, ex-MCA supporter got caught in exactly this game.
Imagine, you slog for years to build up a new business in the midst of an economic crisis. When the business is on a solid financial footing, you are forced to sell of 30% at fire sale prices to an UMNOputra. They even have the cheek to “suggest” who you should sell to. A crony, no doubt.

Stop him from ruining the image of our country by criticizing others esp other countries and preaching others how to run their countries and calling others bankrupt when his own country is the one going “bankrupt”. After his mission achieved by putting Najip as PM & his darling son as Minister, he still wants to stir up by condemning other Ministers accusing them corrupt when he is the “Father of Corrupt” and those were his own breeds of corrupts.
