Let’s do a bit of palmistry here. Thanks to Wits0, who brought to my attention that Rosmah Najib has a ‘simian line’- see her palm in the enlarged pixs. Ardent fans of palmistry will know that a simian line (where the headline meets the heartline) spells ‘danger’ to a certain extent.

To know what it means by a simian line, see the humanhand.com (online palmistry reading). It says:

When the Simian Line occurs, the “Great Quadrangle” is entirely missing. There is no distinction between what is desired (the Heart) and what is thought (the Head). The result is an incredible intensity of nature, but a strong tendency to rush into all things without thinking them through.

Also note that without the Great Quadrangle, we have a completely closed-minded individual. Because they are so focussed on a particular thought, all else is excluded.

In another possible appearance of the Simian Line, the lines of Head, Heart, and Life are all joined. All the above traits apply, but even more intensely, since there is now no distinction between the thoughts, desires, and life itself.

The Simian Line gives the ability to focus on one thing, absolutely, to the exclusion of all else. These people generally achieve and accomplish far more than most, developing techniques and inventions that will last for generations. They also experience far more misfortune than most, usually due to the same intensity that drives them. A truly double-edged sword.

Well, what do you think? Those who can read palms, I welcome your readings on Rosmah Najib. Our next PM’s wife in waiting…

Surprisingly, such palm feature is known as ‘broken palm’ in Chinese palm reading.

The humanhand.com’ s reading describes the same reading as thoase in the Chinese’s old text!

  3. najib sez says:

Thagarajoo, Nallakaruppan’s one-time driver, swears he brought Mr. Ji to Najib’s house every month to perform Hindu prayers and rituals.

Yes, Guruji, Najib’s faith healer, spiritual leader and voodoo master, is nowhere to be found. He’s been packed off back to Chennai in India and Najib’s only just found out that all the hexes, spells and charms that Guruji cast on Badawi and several others were broken when Guruji crossed over the Indian Ocean enroute to Chennai.

    Its rarely a good sign.
Sometimes the person can achieve much by single-mindedly creating something good and great.

But often it results in a person totally given to what they want and need (at least think that they need). Such a character may bring a lot of pain and grief both to the person and those around them.

Sounds a lot like hubby, too….they are made for each other…

I do not know about Great Quadrangle but am familiar with the Triangle which I believe Rosmah has one(far below her palm).
Whether that triangle is great or not, we have to ask Najib.
Hi hi hi (sorry, one of my off days).

I have study palmistry a few years ago. The hand belong to what we call broken line palm. From what we see is this owner will suceed in what he or she is aiming for in their life. She is by destiny going to be next PM wife but she will be also the next “Imeda Marcos “. She will be influencing her husband in her capacity and she will be calling the shot. For the next future, a lot of business man wil be courting he for favours for political position or business cronies. A cross line cut across the head line and the heart line shows she will die on sudden death due to injury to the head or a sudden heart attack in future.
Now those who seek chance and oppertunatuity show now quickly approach the next PM wife for favours to be coming.

Incoming prime minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor may have upped the ante in the fight to prove their innocence from allegations of being involved in the international commission and murder case of Mongolian translator Altantuya Shaariibuu.

If so, the latest salvo from the couple – the barring of lawmakers from Malaysia’s own Parliament from even trying to raise questions about their possible complicity – has worked against them, creating even greater suspicion in the minds of Malaysians.

Not only are parliamentarians shaking their heads at improper procedure, many Malaysians believe that a sensational news report published by well-known French newspaper Liberation recently may have shot a bit too near to the truth for comfort.

  20. MacQ says:

What I understand about broken palms from a few chinese feng shui masters is that it is good for men but if a woman has broken palm, it is bad and may caused hardship etc to her family.Men with broken palms ( better if both hands) are very focussed and will achieve what they set out to do if they put their hearts to it.
Thus for Chinese families those days when babies are born with broken palms, they will not stay with their parents and normally taken care by their grandparents etc as their intensity can interfere with their parents’ careers. Like the chinese saying, if the father is successful, the children will enjoy but if the other way round, the parents will suffer but their children will be a success in life.
People with broken palms include Lee Kuan Yew and Marcos

Macbeth Act 5, scene 1 also has this poignant line:

Lady M. Here’s the smell of the blood still; all the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand. Oh, oh, oh!

Susan, what seems to be a descending branch of a non existent Heart line may be the Fate line that seems to end at the Mount of Saturn(?).

  25. jean says:

Oh gosh… after complaining about gutter politics? Never ran out of ideas … palmistry also can kah…

Some also saw blood on her hand? Amazing! Some has the ability to tell whose blood it was some more. Whoa!

Stupid me only saw the hand of a lady. A fat one at that. Must be well-fed but even that is an assumption. I was not born a psychic, so I would not assume what else she did with that hand.

I am all for justice for Tuya… but palmistry? Sounds like we are not really desperate for justice but simply desperate to pin it on someone we don’t really like.

According to Indian palmistry, one should look at the left palm for women and the right palm for the men, otherwise the reading may not be accurate.Well not, really sure.Maybe someone can confirm this.

  28. Menyalak-er says:

Hmm…, i’m not into palmistry, but what you guys call the ‘simian line’ and ‘broken palm’ is referred to as the “Simian crease’ in medical jargon. It’s a feature found in people with Down’s Syndrome (Trisomy 21, more commonly referred to as “Mongolism”!), Noonan’s Syndrome (also a congenital defect) and in the “fetal alcohol syndrome”.
Wanted to comment on it wits in previous post, wits0, but was waiting to see if Susan picked it up!
‘Mongolism’ seems quite apt in this case and other stuff in past, present and future.
    Cheers.

  29. justme says:

In olden China, women with that palm line will be blamed for every misfortune in the family. More often than not, they would become an outcast.

  30. wits0 says:

Or conversely, if a believer in Darwinism, such thinks Darwin cannot be wrong and that any third alternative theory to the origin of Man is not valid. Often enough the present packaged education system produces people with limited viewpoints – in the name of ‘objective’ Science, at first flush.

OTOH, an astute person tend to understand that real education is a life-long process(inclusive of self education, i.e.).

Even the paradigm of orthodox Science will change, no matter how slowly. From atoms regarded as the smallest indivisible particle, we have now a whole series of subatomic ones like quarks.

Amazingly enough, Science is entertaining “fictional” ideas like “fictional matter” :

In archaic parlance of the ancient like that from the I Ching Divination, e.g., one is advised not to embrace the young boy and cast off the old man. Meaning, not to discard wisdom for things new.

Mahathir, e.g., has sold so much of new things and disregarded timeless wisdom. Hence the mess in tow today.

For national service training is to BN’s benefit. It is the brainchild of Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, that once well-regarded DAP MP who exchanged principle for untold wealth and BN cronydom. He argued for national service, with weapons training. His good friend, the deputy prime minister, or rather his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, thought it a good idea. It was accepted with alacrity, and rushed through. It is an ill-kept secret that the good lady – and, lest we forget, Tan Sri Lee – has a decent share in providing uniforms and other necessities for the national service trainees. The cronies of the establishment got into the act for there was RM800 million to go around every year.

It is an open secret that amongst the 18 “big fish” corrupt persons Pak Lah talked of, two are Dato’ Seri Najib and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor. He could well have moved against the couple if the Anwar release had not upset his plans. But they must now work with each other; and one tries to dominate the other before that. But each know the other is his worst enemy in politics, and not helped by the hostility of their wives to each other. Pak Lah sees control slipping from him. He had to state in public he would not under any circumstance allow Dato’ Seri Anwar in UMNO. He told an UMNO wanita delegation led its chief, Datin Seri Rafidah, today (14 September 2004) that he agrees with Tun Mahathir and the two federal court judges that Dato’ Seri Anwar is a sodomist. The delegation had met him to know why Mr Khairy, and not the Immigration Department, had to arrange for the Anwar passport.

The other surprise of his visit to Russia is his decision to buy 30 Sukhoi jet aircraft. There is nothing wrong with it but it raises eyebrows when the identity of the Malaysian agent is known. The ultimate “dalang” (puppet master) of defence agents in Malaysia is Datin Seri Rosmah Yaakob, the wife of the defence minister, Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak. The Soviet Union, and later, Russia, do not have exclusive agents for its defence equipment as Western countries, and they hand out agencies to anyone who asks for it, paying what it is due to the one who brings the orders. Datin Seri Rosmah brought them all under her charge. With a husband to shepherd it through, it was easy. Dr Mahathir at one time found this so distasteful that he transferred him to education, where she also spread her spell to be commission agent for computer software for its touted-but-failed “smart schools”. (The software is still not ready, years after the promised date).

Dato’ Seri Najib kicked the ball first to insist to insist none should openly debate if Muslims could slander the followers of other religions, and promised to investigate the site, “Malaysia Today”.

The Federal Territory mufti, Dato’ Mohamed Yusof Hussain, invites Raja Petra over to show how he deviates from Islam and he could help him return to the fold. But instead of inviting him, he used the mid-morning Malay tabloid, Harian Metro, in the New Straits Times stable to reply. But his intent was incendiary, not resolution. But Raja Petra has now come with a serious of questions on his website that he wants Dr Yusof to answer in Harian Metro before he would meet him.

But what Raja Petra complains of is true. Non-Malays living in the vicinity of mosques in Kuala Lumpur hear this call to arms against the non-Muslims through high-pitches megaphones often enough to be dismissed as untrue. I suspect Dr Yusof is annoyed a Muslim has spilled the beans; if a non-Muslim had done so, he could be ignored.

  72. There is some much more to tell about the ‘simian line’ (or: simian crease); for example …especially in Chinese, Japanese & Korean people this rather remarkable hand line is observed in more than 10% of the population (more details are described in the article below).

This article described a ‘rainbow’ of medical problems which are related to the simian line:

Oh yes, for Rosmah .. the simian line is on her right palm..know what the chinese say?? A woman with such a chopped line on her palm will cause the death and downfall of her husband… I dunno how true this could be..only time will tell!!

Thanks Sue, but I never said palmistry was gutter. Its just that using it as an instrument for character assassination is gutter. It was used for the study of human behavior but is not an exact science. If it is, someone would have used a palm reader as a character witness in court or took up palmistry instead of economy while in college.

Try and go to two different palm readers and see if u can get the same reading. Someone (who claimed to be able to read palm) told me once that I’ll get married at 25, have many relationships, get filthy rich by 35 and drop dead at about the same age. Some were proven untrue and eEven if some may turn out to be true (which I doubt), the life I am going to live is mostly by the choices that I made and not governed by my palm or what was written in the stars. Like astrology, some of it may turn out to be true but some are way off. You go to two different newspapers and you will live two different lives. Should we use it to judge people then?

Bamboo river said, “Well, we sure like to try something ‘out of the box’ like reading palms , faces etc. We will never know if we happened to hit the jackpot!”

Hi BR, long time no see. Sounds like you were busy doing witch-hunting. I have this problem i.e. I smirked when I smiled. Some said that I was this unfriendly, egoistic bitch because of that. Of course its not true. I know this woman who have that Julia Roberts’s smile but is still a definite bitch. Should we use someone’s inherent physical features to judge them then? Its true that you “may hit the jackpot one day” but what would be the damage you had done to others before you get lucky? BTW, coffee is on me today.

Croaker, grow-up. If you have nothing to say, shut up. If you think that you are good at throwing a one-liner on anyone with opinion different from yours, then you are. Happy?

Lastly susan, I know that you are not saying that Rosmah is guilty just by judging her palm. But read some of the comments sis. Some did just that. Some were even talking like they were there when Tuya was murdered. Whatever it is, I would always love you for fighting for Altantuya but really, don’t turn to palmistry lah… ya sis. 78. Actually, I did some research on the psychological link between the simian line & the Big Five personality dimensions; the statistical results indicate that people who have a ‘simian related heartline’ are more likely to have a relatively high score on the personality dimension:

    NEUROTICISM!

So, this implicates that people who have a simian line are more likely to have a higher sensitivity for (negative) emotions; you can check out the details of the research + the results at:

    http://www.handresearch.com/hand/Evolutie/neuroEngels.htm

*** NOTICE: The Big Five dimension NEUROTICISM includes the personality dimensions: ‘anxiety’, ‘depression’, ‘hostility’, ‘impulsiveness’,
    ‘vulnerability’ & ‘self-consciousness’.

Not that I know a lot of palmistry, but by looking at her palm, I notice that she has a lot of untold worries buried within her as shown on the mount at the base of her thumb.

She is an intelligent woman as confirmed by the thick distinct head line cutting across her palm. She is therefore a good thinker as well as a schemer. She will excel in games or exercises that involve the engagement of her brain.

She is a very sociable person. She likes the limelight. In fact, she survives with and in it. She is a spendthrift and consistent with her natural disposition, she likes anything beautiful from dresses to jewelries, and from cosmetics to perfumeries.

She is temperamental and sensitive. She is controlled more by her head than by her heart. Hence, she might not be that magnanimous, merciful or sympathetic as she portrays herself to be in the public. A domineering character, she is capable of stumping NR’s head into his collar.

Rosmah’s garden is growing beautifully but the stupid tomatoes won’t ripen. There’s a limit to the number of uses for green tomatoes and she’s getting tired of it.

So she goes to her neighbour, Saiful and says, “Your tomatoes are ripe, mine are green. What can I do about it?” Saiful replies, “Well, it may sound absurd but here’s what to do. Tonight there’s no moon. After dark go out into your garden and take all your clothes off. Tomatoes can see in the dark and they’ll be embarrassed and blush. In the morning they’ll all be red, you’ll see.”

Well, what the heck? She did it.

Next day Saiful asks how it worked. “So-so,” she answers. “The tomatoes are still green but the cucumbers are all four inches longer.”

Saiful learned a new technique from Rosmah, in the absence of Najib.

Sjsandteam says to Rosmah: self praise is no praise.

Sjasandteam says to Saiful: Malaysia’s export of cucumber will decrease. Najib will still come after you, no matter what!

Malaysian legal body faces lawsuit for using ‘Allah’

Malaysian religious authorities have threatened to sue the country’s top legal body for using the word “Allah” on its website, in another row over the issue to hit the multi-ethnic country.

The Islamic religious council in central Selangor state said it would take action against the Malaysian Bar, which represents some 12,000 lawyers, for using the word as a translation for “God” in two online polls on its website.

Its comments came amid a long-running battle between the government and a Roman Catholic newspaper which has been threatened with closure for using the disputed word in its Malay-language edition.

The government has argued that the word should be used only by Muslims, who dominate the population of multicultural Malaysia.

The Malaysian Bar’s polls asked lawyers to vote on whether any particular race in Malaysia had an exclusive right to use “Allah” and whether non-Muslim religious publications should be allowed to use the word.

“The issue raised in the polls can threaten the sensitivity of Muslims,” the head of the religious council Mohamad Adzib Mohamad Isa said in a statement.

He said it was empowered under religious laws to lay charges against anyone misusing the word “Allah”.

The Malaysian Bar said it would defend its use of the word.

  107. Billauchris says:

Cut & Paste, your comment is very topical indeed. Now the religious bodies are going on a witch-hunt of all those institutions using the the word “Allah” in their publications, songs and what not.

I just wonder whether the word, Allah-mak is prohibited from daily usage or not? As far as I am concerned, the word is not included and listed in the ISA Order 2009; hence it can be used until such time the said word is gazetted.

I met some of my Sikh friends of late and they told me how the Order has also affected their religion. Their holy book uses the word Allah for the Almighty God whose inclusion existed ever since the holy book was written. So, does that mean that they have to remove the word from their holy book? This is again another gray area which I believe the Home Ministry did not take into consideration when they issued the order.

Besides, the Arabic translation of the Christian Bible also uses Allah for God, The Almighty. Does that mean that scholars having bought such holy book before the Order must now destroy it or else they may face the wrath of the Government?

You see, the matter is not so simple as what those goons in the HM think.

The reactions of the outside world in my view will be far reaching.
