world-aids-day

This is a cut and paste from the Bloggers Unite for Human Rights page. It’s a worthwhile cause to join bloggers all over the world to unite for certain causes. Dec 1 is WORLD AIDS DAY. I know there are many things we can wish for this day, but I just wish discrimination against those living with AIDS can be over. Then we can start to breathe:

Please join us on December 1st in recognition of World AIDS Day 2008. NIDA and AIDS.gov are working with Bloggers Unite because we value and recognize the power of a voice. Multiply that voice by the thousands and the sound of humanity will echo the blogosphere. HIV/AIDS affects too many in our communities to ignore. Be a part of a growing community of leaders that lift their voices.

Together, we can reduce the stigma of this pandemic through our words, voices and actions.

Go and experience the exhibition at Berjaya Times Square named One Life by World Vision .It comes with a head phone that narrates true stories as one walk thru each room and the circumstances that lead to AIDs victims eg a boy named John or a woman named Sree Mum in Cambodia. Its a sad sad world out there and we should thank God for blessing this country. AIDs/HIV know no religion, no races and no nationalities.
