MCMC [Multimedia and Communications Commission] lifts ban on MALAYSIA-TODAY. The ban had been TOTALLY ineffective. It makes a HERO out of Raja Petra Kamaruddin, which of course, he is already, a long time ago.

Also, we’ve been able to access Malaysia Today, anyway, not that it’s been a total black-out.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s government keep ‘heaping praises’ on Raja Petra by all these antics.THANK YOU.

These continued incarceration against the blogger only makes his news sound more credible and dangerously delicious. In other words, FREE ADVERTISEMENT.

In Malaysia, a ban is equal to free advertisement and good public relations.

MCMC, acted like a smart a*se and ended up, a impotent prick. High handedness tactics only creates resentment. It is about time they realize it.

  5. raktamrittika says:

Thanx to MCMC for showing us malaysian how stupid an organisation can be under duress and tyranny!!

But Susan, RPK may be considered a hero for his fight against the tyranny of BN but as for islamic matter he’s a MURTAD!!

I used to adore him before, but all the admiration and supports he’s having make him arrogant and “BESAR KEPALA”. To condemn his own religion the way he did is unforgivable. He’s a disgrace for any religion! Hope he’ll convert to christianity and do the same, then u’ll know what it feels like to have someone like him uttering “SINFUL” statement over your religion. Perhaps he might end up saying JESUS is just a “ANAK HARAM”!!

TM Net is also Blocking The Web Anonymity Network
Despite all their fancy talk, TM Net is still blocking many websites. They have now (last fews days) even started to block http://www.privax.us/ – Privax is a web anonymity network, aimed at providing people the freedom to surf anonymously online. Privax offers free web proxy services (The Privax Network), which allow anyone in the world to surf anonymously and surf under our IP address. You can find more about us here.

Don’t believe me? Try accessing Privax using a TM Net DNS IP. Here are some:
    202.188.0.132
    202.188.0.133

Now try accessing the same website using the OpenDNS IP services:
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

This is not the only website they have & are still blocking by the way. There are many more.

RPK wants to be a hero let him be la. Everybody has a right of opinion. I cant say that i agree with all the stuff he’s saying. If he has insulted islam then let him answer to God or pas when pakatan takes over. I have a feeling dia malu nak jadi melayu kot or maybe trying too hard to be a hero for the non bumis.

  8. jungle boy says:

Malaysia is just like living in a jungle.

The stronger animal will bully the weaker animal!

So this is the way of life in Bolehland.

So before any animal complaining against another animal, they are all the same.

  9. Menyalak-er says:

These ‘blurcist’ (bumno has gone beyond the unredeemable traits of facism-racism) have absolutely no idea of what they are doing.
My goodness, they are jerking all over, with insensate hyper-reflexes and respond to all and sundry sensations with panic & dread.
They see RPK as Hell’s Angels numero uno, dismantling all their ‘mat rempit cupchais’ antisocial/borderline psychotic behavior and the revealer of all their profane workings!
This MCMC snafu, is an example of what happens when their primary neural circuitry shifts by gravity alone to their bums.
Obviously the henchman responsible for this despicable debacle was none other than the HM, SHA – who is as shorn of scalp hair as of brains.
Just another blot in their already atrocious CV.

Streamyx’s 1 Mz connection has become Snailmax for the last couple of months or more in my locale at night without fail for some hours at night. The IP server usually comes from Penang side or Parit Buntar. This is really getting infuriating.

  11. wits0 says:

Well, Menyalak-er, RPK fires/criticises anything that moves( as someone remarked jokingly) but we generally can take it and love him for that because often what he wrote is quite true.

Now the Penang Mad Cow piece by him will upset the supercilious ones and jolly good too. At some point in time a spade needs to be called one.

  12. matt says:

Looks like in Malaysia it is better to tell a lie than the truth as the saying goes the truth always hurt.People can say what they want about him but at least he still preaches what he practices.

  13. wits0 says:

At some point in time, “sensitivities” cannot be employed in the wrong manner of protecting some people’s gigantic ego and excuse their misdeeds in a very skewered fashion. The truth hurts because for very long now it has been suppressed and usage of demonization of the weak is encouraged for the strong. The real sense of fairness has been banished for a very long time in Bolehland.

  14. bamboo river says:

The BIG question is why un-ban MT now? There is a catch here.
    Release and catch?
    Very fishy…………………………………………………….!

  15. Bola Hangus Rights says:

Muslims can never be equal to non muslims.

  16. james chua says:

    yOU KNOW WHAT, STRANGE RELIGION

The Koran – all humans are equal under the eyes of God

The Old Testament – all humans are equal under the eyes of GOD

Abraham in the Old Testament, and Ibrahim in the Koran shows that the God the Jews pray to is the same GOD that the Muslims pray to, and the same God that the Christians pray to.

Now, of course, the Muslims think that they are the only one correct and true in praying to the right Allah, the Jews think that they are the only right ones, and the Christians think the same, except that they think the others are praying to the wrong gods.

Now, you add another race into the equation, Malays, and the picture becomes more corrupted.

Malays for some reasons, think that they are the only true muslims, and all chinese are pigs. Now, we are in the midst of planning to bring all the chinese muslims from China to Malaysia, so that they can all get Malaysian passports and get NEP too, because, they dont got chinese names, they only have arabic names. It is time we dilute the Malay genes because we need to eliminate the genesis of people like Bola Hangus.

  17. BronzeWall says:

There is a pair of everything on earth. Day and night, light and darkness, sun and moon, rain and shine, good and bad, good and evil, God and satan, truth and lie, love and hatred and many other pairs.

Some people like the day, some people like the night. Some like the light, some darkness, some like good some bad, some like rain, some like the shine and it works that way for most things in life.

It is so because,we are made like that. We were not ment to be ‘robots’. We are created with the freedom of our choices. Our choices come as a result of what is laid before us. If we were born in UK, we would have the choice of either liking snow or hating it but never in Malaysia. Our environment and exposure to things affects what we do in general.

We have no right to say to the other my choice is the right choice. The same goes with the choice of our vocation in life. One man’s ‘meat’ might be another man’s ‘poison’. What you are doing might appear right in your own eyes but not neccessarilyy to the other. He might see it as wrong and so he writes against what you do. Maybe, thats the job he has chosen to do.
Same thing with those who dont like what he is doing. The job they are doing might be right to themselves but might not be right to the writer who critisises it.

Someone commented above,”.. what if he starts criticising about God”? Well, thats the choice that he has made. Do we have the luxury of time to dig and find out why he made that choice? Not only him, all of us, in one point of time, will be paying for the wrong choices we made in life.

So, who is the best JUDGE of right and wrong? We first, and then later it will be God himself. He will judge us by what we thought, said and did. So relax, don’t play God yourself, you’ll look awkward and embarrasssed to death if someone walks up to you and say ” You are not qualified to defend God”. Infact, none of us are.

Read this only if you have to:

    Psalm 14:1-3 (New International Version)

1 The fool says in his heart,
    “There is no God.”
    They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.

2 The LORD looks down from heaven
    on the sons of men
to see if there are any who understand,
    any who seek God.

    3 All have turned aside,
    they have together become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
    not even one.

    Footnotes:

Psalm 14:1 The words rendered ‘fool’ in Psalms denote one who is morally deficient.

(Even I, would admit to God that I am a sinner today, for there are many things He has asked me to do that I have not done.)

  18. wits0 says:

“The Koran – all humans are equal under the eyes of God”

People like Giggle or Snide will bash you if you’re wrong. Please don’t make such statements without being 100% sure.

  21. kittykat46 says:

The “Ban” on Malaysia Today was becoming a joke.
The On-Line Ban you have when you are not having a Ban.
So in the end they may as well rescind it to save some face.

Actually there are “other” technical methods for MCMC to pursue a more effective Ban on Malaysia Today. They are more complicated, but also more difficult to work around.

But there is no such thing as a fool-proof block in the Internet. DARPA originally designed the ARPANET (grandfather of the Internet) to allow the US military command network to survive a nuclear attack.

  22. sklee says:

That the blocking of RPK’s blog is going to be ineffective has been a foregone conclusion.Everybody knows that except those blockheads in MCMC.With Malaysia’s integrity in question there is no choice for MCMC but to quickly make an u-turn.Actually the MCMC is the scapegoat as the order apparently came from the Home Ministry!Anyway, RPK and Malaysia To-Day got some free advertisement. As a direct result of the abortive “ban” even people who normally do not know of the existent of blogs are interested to find out what a blog is!

  23. Discrimination69, says:

Seem so funny , many Malaysians maybe committing a crime to read Malaysia Today when it was banned, correct? Anthing that is banned we should not get near it but it was available as if nothing happened.

Shows the backwardwardness of the present Government, how are they to rule the country when they are not in tune with world’s rapid development?

Banning MT was a no brainer move even a secondary school kid can tell you. Thats why we really need to change the Government.

BN has no more credible leaders maybe for 3 generations, which means the present crop of brainless, corrupt, rascist nincompoops will have to be replaced or disappear into thin air.

Whats the only party that one can resign and rejoin at will? Riddle of the day, Malaysia Boleh!!!

When the righteous are persecuted,(FT Imam, Hindraf leaders, Irene Frenandez, ISA detainees, etc) it is the beginning of a new era. (lesson taken from the life of Nelson Mandela)

  24. happytony says:

Can u ban my uncle website. since he is think of advrtisement ….

    hahaha

  25. Defender says:

Well RPK may try to be hero like some of you think, but who dare to openly condemn the government for their wrong doing the way he did, and brave enough to face the consequences? Are you willing to go to jail defending what you believe? those who are disatisfy with the government, and yet not doing anything about it, and act like sour grape when others seem to get the credit, pls look at yourself what have you done for the ppl & nation. I bet you’ll pee in the pant if the police appear at your doorstep with their handcrafts. RPK has reason to be proud of himself, belittling someone who’s getting the credit is definitely not a good way to make yourself look better.

  26. Menyalak-er says:

    Huh? Wazzat again? Inggeris ah?

  27. rozlan says:

pasala apa MCMC bodoh sgt.Almost impossible to censor internet la,The effective way is by banning the internet la..Itu pun tak boleh fikir ka
