(Image) – & have a happy weekend.

Yahoo! A country free of BN MPs for 12 days (more than a week)?

That must be heaven.

Why not make it 5 years, or even more?

Who cares whose money they use? Though the news story says it is being funded by ‘one BN MP’?

(Added at 4.29pm, Bkk time) Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today he approved an overseas study trip by the Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) because it is constructive. (TheSUN)

Yes, it seems BN MPs are being lured to attend a retreat in Australia to prevent defections on September 16. The SUN says its a trip to China to enable BN MPs to learn of the latest technology in agriculture and high-tech food production.

There is no where on earth they can run to if some of those BN MPs want to defect to PAKATAN RAKYAT, answering Anwar Ibrahim’s call to form a new government by 16 September.

According to Malaysian Insider, the attendance is compulsory.

The text message from the BN Backbenchers Club (BNBBC) reads: “BNBBC has received approval to hold a retreat overseas from Sept 7 to Sept 19. The attendance of all MPs is compulsory.”

But not many BN MPs are actually excited at the idea. One even call it a ‘stupid idea’.

I say it is a desperate one.

And I don’t think it can happen without Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s approval.

I am really tickled at how Anwar has caused chaos within BN by just sparking off these rumours of crossing over.

Now everyone in BN distrust one another. Can a government function without trust?

    Hi everyone,

Everything that happens is declared as mere coincidence. The dates for this overseas trip is again a mere coincidence! The ACA action on the 2 Perak excos and huge publicity on mass media is coincidence, the sumpah laknat on eve of PP nomination is coincidence, … .

Would the BN MPs be so naive to believe it is coincidence, or is it rather a case of no confidence in their own MPs? BN is getting more and more afraid of its own shadows.

QUE SERA, SERA -(What Will Be, Will Be)(Apa Yang akan Jadi akan Terjadi)
    ———————————————————

Meaning of Que Sera, Sera: Wikipedia
    (Maksud Que Sera, Sera): Wikipedia

The expression “What will be,will be” is used to describe the notion that fate will decide the outcome of a course of events, even if action is taken to try to alter it.

(Ungkapan “Apa yang akan jadi akan terjadi digunakan untuk maksud Takdir akan menentukan keputusan kejadian-kejadian seterusnya walaupun tindakan diambil untuk cuba menghalangnya.)

(Lyrics written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans
    for Alfred Hitchcock’s 1956 re-make of his 1934 film
“The Man Who Knew Too Much” starring Doris Day and James Stewart.)

When I was just a little girl,
I asked my mother, “What will I be?
    Will I be pretty?
    Will I be rich?”
Here’s what she said to me:

    “Que sera, sera,
    Whatever will be, will be;
The future’s not ours to see.
    Que sera, sera,
    What will be, will be.”

When I was just a child in school,
I asked my teacher, “What will I try?
    Should I paint pictures”
    Should I sing songs?”
    This was her wise reply:

    “Que sera, sera,
    Whatever will be, will be;
The future’s not ours to see.
    Que sera, sera,
    What will be, will be.”

When I grew up and fell in love.
I asked my sweetheart, “What lies ahead?
    Will we have rainbows
    Day after day?”
    Here’s what my sweetheart said:

    “Que sera, sera,
    Whatever will be, will be;
The future’s not ours to see.
    Que sera, sera,
    What will be, will be.”

Now I have Children of my own.
They ask their mother, “What will I be?”
    Will I be handsome?
    Will I be rich?”
    I tell them tenderly:

    “Que sera, sera,
    Whatever will be, will be;
The future’s not ours to see.
    Que sera, sera,
    What will be, will be.
    Que Sera, Sera!”

FOLKS, CAN DEMOCRACY ACTUALLY GUARANTEE US FREEDOM???

CAN WE LEARN SOMETHING FROM THE AMERICAN EXPERIENCE ….

    ————————————————————————————

What’s the Meaning of ‘Freedom’? …. But don’t ask a politician!

    by Rep. Ron Paul

“Man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts”.

    – Ronald Reagan

We’ve all heard the words democracy and freedom used countless times, especially in the context of our invasion of Iraq. They are used interchangeably in modern political discourse, yet their true meanings are very different. George Orwell (picture above right) wrote about “meaningless words” that are endlessly repeated in the political arena. Words like “freedom,” “democracy,” and “justice,” Orwell explained, have been abused so long that their original meanings have been eviscerated. In Orwell’s view, political words are “often used in a consciously dishonest way.” Without precise meanings behind words, politicians and elites can obscure reality and condition people to reflexively associate certain words with positive or negative perceptions. In other words, unpleasant facts can be hidden behind purposely meaningless language.

As a result, Americans have been conditioned to accept the word “democracy” as a synonym for freedom, and thus to believe that democracy is unquestionably good. The problem is that democracy is not freedom. Democracy is simply majoritarianism, which is inherently incompatible with real freedom. Our founding fathers clearly understood this, as evidenced not only by our republican constitutional system, but also by their writings in the Federalist Papers and elsewhere. James Madison cautioned that under a democratic government, “There is nothing to check the inducement to sacrifice the weaker party or the obnoxious individual.” John Adams argued that democracies merely grant revocable rights to citizens depending on the whims of the masses, while a republic exists to secure and protect preexisting rights.

Yet how many Americans know that the word “democracy” is found neither in the Constitution nor the Declaration of Independence, our very founding documents? A truly democratic election in Iraq, without U.S. interference and U.S. puppet candidates, almost certainly would result in the creation of a Shi’ite theocracy. Shi’ite majority rule in Iraq might well mean the complete political, economic, and social subjugation of the minority Kurd and Sunni Arab populations. Such an outcome would be democratic, but would it be free? Would the Kurds and Sunnis consider themselves free? The administration talks about democracy in Iraq, but is it prepared to accept a democratically elected Iraqi government no matter what its attitude toward the U.S. occupation? Hardly. For all our talk about freedom and democracy, the truth is we have no idea whether Iraqis will be free in the future.

They’re certainly not free while a foreign army occupies their country. The real test is not whether Iraq adopts a democratic, pro-Western government, but rather whether ordinary Iraqis can lead their personal, religious, social, and business lives without interference from government. Simply put, freedom is the absence of government coercion. Our Founding Fathers understood this, and created the least coercive government in the history of the world. The Constitution established a very limited, decentralized government to provide national defense and little else. States, not the federal government, were charged with protecting individuals against criminal force and fraud. For the first time, a government was created solely to protect the rights, liberties, and property of its citizens.

Any government coercion beyond that necessary to secure those rights was forbidden, both through the Bill of Rights and the doctrine of strictly enumerated powers. This reflected the founders’ belief that democratic government could be as tyrannical as any King. Few Americans understand that all government action is inherently coercive. If nothing else, government action requires taxes. If taxes were freely paid, they wouldn’t be called taxes, they’d be called donations. If we intend to use the word freedom in an honest way, we should have the simple integrity to give it real meaning: Freedom is living without government coercion. So when a politician talks about freedom for this group or that, ask yourself whether he is advocating more government action or less. The political left equates freedom with liberation from material wants, always via a large and benevolent government that exists to create equality on earth.

To modern liberals, men are free only when the laws of economics and scarcity are suspended, the landlord is rebuffed, the doctor presents no bill, and groceries are given away. But philosopher Ayn Rand (and many others before her) demolished this argument by explaining how such “freedom” for some is possible only when government takes freedoms away from others. In other words, government claims on the lives and property of those who are expected to provide housing, medical care, food, etc. for others are coercive?and thus incompatible with freedom. “Liberalism,” which once stood for civil, political, and economic liberties, has become a synonym for omnipotent coercive government. The political right equates freedom with national greatness brought about through military strength.

Like the left, modern conservatives favor an all-powerful central state? but for militarism, corporatism, and faith-based welfarism. Unlike the Taft-Goldwater conservatives of yesteryear, today’s Republicans are eager to expand government spending, increase the federal police apparatus, and intervene militarily around the world. The last tenuous links between conservatives and support for smaller government have been severed. “Conservatism,” which once meant respect for tradition and distrust of active government, has transformed into big-government utopian grandiosity. Orwell certainly was right about the use of meaningless words in politics. If we hope to remain free, we must cut through the fog and attach concrete meanings to the words politicians use to deceive us.

We must reassert that America is a republic, not a democracy, and remind ourselves that the Constitution places limits on government that no majority can overrule. We must resist any use of the word “freedom” to describe state action. We must reject the current meaningless designations of “liberals” and “conservatives,” in favor of an accurate term for both: statists. Every politician on earth claims to support freedom. The problem is so few of them understand the simple meaning of the word.

    Merdeka!!!

So the country and its people are getting poorer because these sharks just siphon the public fund away continuously. Too bad.

One question for Bee-End MPs, how can you people go “makan angin” while the voters in your constituency continue to suffer? Do you people have conscience?

The best thing to do is to reject this stupid idea and be responsible to the people.

Those racists in UltaManNo have done enough damage to this country. Just hope that all other MPs who are conscientious must stand up united and kick the ass of these racists.

An Open Letter to all DAP Leaders and Members:

    Friday, 29 August 2008 17:20
The majority of the Malays support UMNO; and UMNO has plundered and mismanaged the wealth of this country with impunity. Therefore, to change the fate of our nation is to change the mentality of the Malays. This is the ONLY solution!
Without doubt, DAP has struggled and fought fearlessly and tirelessly over the past 4 decades aspiring to build a democratic and progressive Malaysia regardless of race and religion. However, I can only conclude that over the past 4 decades, DAP has completely failed to fight against the UMNO hegemony in the country.
DAP had never prepared itself to be the alternative of BN until 08 March 2008. And we have to acknowledge that DAP had been dragged and manipulated by UMNO to become or at least seen to become a Chinese-Chauvinist political party. The fact is that without PAS or Anwar Ibrahim, DAP will NEVER be able to engage the Malay electorate. The leadership of DAP has long been luxuriating in being recognized as the “Chinese Hero” or “Non-Muslims’ Rights Defender”.
Since DAP’s inception in 1966, the Party has failed to recognize the basic and simple fact that it is the Malays who decide the sort of leaders they want and they have voted UMNO in for 12 consecutive General Elections.
UMNO had always been perceived as the sole defender of Malay supremacy with their special rights and privileges, even if it is at the expense of other ethnic groups. It doesn’t require complex political analysis to understand that the MAJORITY of Malays had always been staunch supporters of UMNO. If they refuse to change their voting preference, the status quo is going to remain. The more we challenge it, the stronger UMNO will be. Thus, for DAP to directly clash with UMNO will further enhance its image as a Chinese-based party and provide UMNO with an opportunity to have more Malay sympathizers.
An example is, if they increase the number of scholarships for non-bumis, UMNO can easily tell the Kampong Malays that they have succumbed to the pressure of MCA, Gerakan and MIC. The Malays will immediately give their strong endorsement to UMNO to defend their rights. DAP, as one of the strongest opposition parties in Malaysia, is still failing to comprehend the racial game played by UMNO.
Instead of directly engaging the Malay electorate, DAP chooses to play the ZERO SUM GAME with MCA and Gerakan. These 3 Chinese-based political parties lack the basic political wisdom to survive independently in our multi-racial country where Malays/Muslims are the majority. At least we know UMNO can easily survive by means of communalism and form the government with smaller political parties.
No matter how hard DAP argues or debates with MCA or Gerakan, it won’t change the fixed mindset or mentality of the Malay electorate. Neither will MCA or Gerakan be forced to change the mindset of the Malays by DAP!
Remember the iron fact that the majority of the Malays support UMNO; and UMNO has plundered and mismanaged the wealth of this country with impunity. Therefore, to change the fate of our nation is to change the mentality of the Malays. This is the ONLY solution!
As our most respected Regent of Perak, Dr. Nazrin Shah put it, “The Malay mindset is a crucial factor in our nation’s stability”. Dr. Nazrin further elaborated that, “racial prejudice can be erased if the Malay mindset is stable and comfortable towards forging harmony. It is a pre-condition to our nation’s stability”.
May I ask Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Karpal Singh, or even the writer Liew Chin Tong, how much has DAP done over the past 40 years to change the mindset of the Malays? How much has DAP done to win the trust of the Malays? How many times has DAP challenged UMNO in open debate on the academic performance of Malay students?
Instead of getting closer and winning the hearts and trust of the Malay electorate, DAP has chosen to fight with MCA and Gerakan to play the role of Chinese Hero.
Worse still, after struggling for more than 40 years in Malaysia’s political history, DAP still doesn’t have the slightest inkling of what “political courtship” is all about. Even the MOST STUPID salesman knows how to be courteous to customers and win their trust.
DAP chooses to shun Malay electorate and frighten them by:
    a) Refusing to wear songkok,
    b) Raising the issue of Social Contract,
    c) Immediate abolition of positive discrimination policies
It’s made me wonder whether DAP is paid by UMNO to strengthen their grass root supporters! If I were a DAP leader, I would ostentatiously wear the Songkok to pro-actively court and seek Malay support for DAP. I would put aside the issue of the Social Contract and would clearly and carefully pinpoint the weaknesses of the NEP to the Malay masses before revising it.
If the Umnoputras liken the fate of the Malays in Penang to the Malays in Singapore, how is YAB Mr. Lim Guan Eng going to answer this question or “accusation”? What YAB Mr. Lim Guan Eng will do is to imitate his predecessor Dr. Koh by keeping his mouth shut and be speechless. Silence means consent!
DAP should pro-actively and sincerely urge the Malay masses to look beyond the tiny island of Singapore and focus on the plight of Malays in Batam, Bintang, Karimun and even the slum areas in Jakarta. Ask them to compare whether Singapore Malays are better off or Batam Malays are better off.
I can help organize special tours for all the Malays/bumiputras in Malaysia to visit all the Indonesian islands surrounding Singapore to see for themselves how the Malays there are living in abject poverty and sordid conditions. Many young girls in Batam, Bintang and Karimun have to prostitute themselves to feed their family. They are also deprived of the opportunity to receive basic education and training. And we know many of them have to leave their families to become maids in Singapore and Malaysia.
We should challenge UMNO – NOT to protect the Malays in Singapore, but the Malays in Batam, Bintang and Karimun! We are not defending Singapore, but we have to speak the truth to the Malay masses. Enlighten them and so they won’t be blinded and misguided by UMNO. Shame on our Education Minister who expressed the need to travel to the UK to save “our” so-called prodigy Sufiah. He should go to Batam Island to join the UN’s efforts to curb child prostitution!
For DAP’s information, Singapore Malays have progressed very well. Over the last 15 years, they have improved significantly in their academic performance. Singapore Malays have the highest percentage of home ownership as compared to the Malays in Malaysia and Indonesia! DAP does not have to defend PAP, but I would encourage YAB Mr. Lim to invite Dr. Mahathir for a telecast debate on the plight of Malays in Singapore.
Dr. Mahathir always reminds the Malays in our country to look at the Malays in Singapore, how “miserable” they are without firm control in politics. For Mahathir’s information, the Singapore Parliament Speaker is a Malay and the Finance Minister an Indian Muslim like Mahathir. And so far, I have not heard of Singapore Malays being maids in Malaysia or Indonesia, and neither have I heard of a large number of young Malay girls in Singapore prostituting themselves to feed their family.
As Islam is the official religion of Malaysia, DAP leaders should openly and publicly support the teachings of the Quran in our country. I voted for PAS on 8th March to close down casinos, horse-racing, 4D and TOTO. Non-Muslims have long been paying a second tax to the UMNO government by “gambling-off” their whole family savings and children’s education to win the trust and respect of Malays and Muslims.
DAP should advocate the closure of casinos, 4D, TOTO, and horse-racing as all these vice activities operators are UMNO agents. They take gambling money from non-Muslims and pay it to their UMNO Master. To cut off this source of revenue for UMNO, DAP should explain to the non-Muslim community how this gambling system works in Malaysia – and teach UMNO a lesson as we must expose UMNO’s hypocrisy!
Unfortunately, DAP leaders don’t appear to have the intelligence, wit, courage and political will to have the paradigm shift and think out of the box politically. As mentioned earlier, DAP is just a political party helplessly manipulated by UMNO. By just simply advocating the banning of gambling, DAP could win the respect and trust of Malays and Muslims plus save many non-Muslims from bankruptcy and family problems. But most importantly, it cuts off a large chunk of revenue from UMNO. ONE stone killing 3 birds.
Instead of shouting and arguing with ridiculous Umnoputras in Parliament, I urge DAP to instruct each of their members to befriend at least 10 Malays to explain to them the challenge of this ever-changing globalized economy and how we have to work together regardless of race and religion for a better Malaysia. When the Malay mindsets change, Malaysia will change; and vice-versa.
DAP, hear me and hear me well. You may be sincere, but you are sincerely wrong in Malaysian politics. Go and study what made UMNO strong. Do your political analysis. Also, DAP, you must remember that PAS is your true friend, even though they talked with UMNO. They are righteous and godly people that won’t succumb to the temptation of money. That is not the case with Keadilan. Except Anwar and a few top leaders, many Keadilan people are still carrying the UMNO-DNA, as we have witnessed with the running dog Ezam and Nalla betraying the party.
DAP, you should acknowledge the fact that the special rights and position of Malays/bumiputras are enshrined in our constitution. You have to respect it. You must have a complete and comprehensive Malay agenda to compete with UMNO. For example, the Penang state government can provide free but compulsory tuition for Penang Malay students at schools. DAP must cultivate and nurture the Malays in Penang to excel in academics and be able to compete on equal footing with others. Penang Malays must be the locomotive change of mindset to the rest of the Malays in our country. If DAP fails to change the Malay mindset in Penang, DAP will never be qualified to be addressed as a “National” party.

Lastly, DAP, you still have a long way to go and you really have to learn again who’s given UMNO power. Go to their power base, seize their power and cut off their power supply! For a progressive and better Malaysia, wearing the songkok is a trivial matter.
If necessary, let Anwar’s new cabinet be full of capable Malays like Dr. Syed Husin Ali, Dr. Azly Rahman, Dr. Bakri Musa, Tuanku Abdul Aziz, etc. to prove to the Malay masses that we, Chinese, are not power hungry; we don’t choose to “pegang” so as to destroy their livelihood as UMNO has claimed. We can prove to them that even though there is only 1 Chinese Minister in the Cabinet, it is still okay to us if the highly capable and honest Malay leaders can lead our country to greater heights and serve the rakyat wholeheartedly regardless of race, language and religion!
Please learn, understand and even master the UMNO’s Art of War in Politics.
“Know your enemies and know yourself, hundred battles hundred victories” – “Sun Tzu’s Art of War”.

    Dear All,

In politics, in my humble opinion, all it takes is for one MP to crossover…..the rest will follow when contemplating their future, thus, the Domino Theory! Remember All, DSAI is well versed with Sun Tze….so is his father-in-law ( former Government Chief of Security, a strategist and play maker.

If one sees the threat of 9/16 since 8 March, it has reached fearful status amongst umno/bn MPs, Bodowi( to the extent of seeing DYMM Agong), Najis, Mahadey, and all politicians in general.

Politicians are fausts; always wanting the best for themselves ie self interest overrides national interest. When they realise that the “ship they are in is sinking”, THEY WILL DEFINITELY JUMP SHIP! No one will provide lip service of loyalty to party, leader or race.

Just wait and see. DSAI is a no nonsense gentleman. He is not bluffing nor is it a diversion. Just a matter of time. In december UMNO will be crushed and plaqued with internal squabbles, leadership crisis, PM may be booted out as president etc.

Then what? The umno/bn are aware of all these factors. A reasonable man will jump ship before it sinks. Timing is the key word.

  108. Jimmy Page says:

In December, Umno will commit suicide. Badawi is gone for sure, and Najib better be gone. I still have serious doubts that Gerakan, MCA and MIC will leave BN at the moment but we’ll see after December. Let UMNO kill themselves first, it will be fun to watch and that is when I will celebrate Merdeka. When Badawi and Najib are gone.
Knowing the cowards that Badawi and Najib are, they will probably postpone it to next year. You just watch, “postponed to next May”-says Badawi. Cowards have to be dragged out of their houses kicking and screaming.

Previously, although my sentiments leaned towards Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim/Pakatan, I still had some sympathies for Badawi. I was quite polite too all along, calling him “Abdullah” (more polite would have been the venerable “Pak Lah”).

But after this one, whatever little deference I still had for him is gone. Badawi has now cracked under all the pressure and has shown increasing desperation to cling onto power. This is no statesman, as he had crafted his image to look like:

    Badawi is just a fake!

When I heard what he had said, and how he had attempted to manoeuvre from accepting responsibility for the trip, I feel so disgusted with him for having turned into such a low-class two-bit manipulator. Here’s what he said:

“If they want to go, let them go. It has nothing to do with Sept 16. They have no desire to cross over,” Abdullah said at a press conference here today.

QUESTION: But do they really want to go? It is an order! Badawi should have said “If they DON’T want to go, then don’t go”.

It has EVERYTHING to do with Sept 16. If they “have no desire”, why then do you need to kidnap them? That was a lame attempt to twist and manipulate. Which was only to be expected actually, since we have a lame Prime Minister.

What do you take us for, Badawi, coming up with that pathetic attempt to manipulate? If you want to manipulate, please have more class and intelligence. There’s more – Now the two-bit manipulator who is so desperate, tries to distance himself from involvement:

“It is their decision. I did not organise the trip,” he replied to a question on whether he had given permission as BN chairman for the coalition’s Backbenchers’ Club to leave on a two-week trip next week.

Yeah, `voluntary decision’ too; with you twisting their arm behind. Of course YOU did not ORGANISE the trip, Mr Clean Forked-Tongue: the “administrative staff” did all the ticket bookings and reservations … you had only conspired and pressured for the trip to be held.

Badawi has cracked. Anwar wins the psyche war.

So maybe it won’t be Sept 16, and the Kangkong Prime Minister smiles his usual smile, thinking “he has won by thwarting Anwar’s plan”. But what difference would it really make if were to be Sept 20? Or Sept 24 or 30? Or Oct 16?

The fact is you, Badawi, Najib, Umno and BN won’t be around anymore well before the Umno event! And Umno members will curse the name of Badawi for seven generations – the lame do-nothing clueless weakling who is responsible for the party losing the country.

    LONG LIVE US, THE RAKYAT!

Anwar was also serious about fiscal policies to take account of distributive justice in the months between December, 1997 and April, 1998. In fact, he had dismissed a report prepared by a team of IMF-style consultants on measures to rescue the East Asian economies affected by the 1997-98 Financial crisis. He had written on the cover of that report that it must be rewritten to address problems of social justice.

I was approached by his advisors to rewrite the report and took it on eventually after his team headed by Khalid Jaafar agreed to allow me to change it completely. It was unfortunate that Anwar did not manage to present it as he was replaced by Daim Zainuddin and sacked by Mahathir.

    2. That in the event of crossovers, and Pakatan getting a mjority, Badawi would have to accept his position as opposition and not do something stupid like calling fresh elections.

Which is why the holiday destination of these MPs has suddenly become China and Hamid Albar needs desperately to ISA RPK.

    ‘Usah politikan 16 September’

Tokoh sejarah: Boleh diisytihar cuti tetapi rakyat perlu diperjelas

Hahahaha, Obviously the BN government, the leaders and the movers and shaker are all in complete disarray. Bright idea, getting everyone on a trip to Autralia? China? Timbuktu? Nowhere? will prevent these Mps from crossing over. Right. Big Hairy Deal, Najis and Bodoh. So what if the come back on the 17th,18th?? They can still crossover. After all, DSAI did not specify that the crossover will be Sept 16th 2008, could be 2009/2010/2011. So yup, jus as Susan says, why not get bloody lost forever. We would say good riddance to bad rubbish.
BN should realise that you cannot ever hope to change the inevitable, delay a bit maybe can lah but one day sooner than you think you will all be lining up at the employment exchange though I would rather bet that you would join Che Det in jumping into the next plane out to who knows, Uganda?, Cuba?, Iraq? North Korea or probably into the Amazon Basin. Wherever you go, Good Bye and may you rot.

Well! We have to pay the Australians government for providing this service.

It is a disgrace to the Pakatan Rakyat forming the government through this means… this is cheating!

If it’s based on strict principles, then Yes; it may be called that. And basically, I do dislike people who hopped to other parties after they had been elected from different ones. IMHO both “person” and “label” must be the same as that “was agreed on by the electorate”.

But allow me to go against these principles with this justification: “These are interesting times and SPECIAL times that require – and justify – special privileges”.

Oh, I’m well aware that the hardcore BN supporters will disagree with and dispute the above. To be fair, they could justly scream about “Robbery!” here.

So here’s a solution that I feel should be the most reasonable and fairest solution: Dissolve Parliament and hold a new General Election

The issue is clear-cut: After the developments over the past five months, which do you want – (1) BN to continue, or (2) PR with Anwar Ibrahim?

Or is there a better solution?

Let this current BN setup continue for another four years, solely because they have a few seats more?… despite doing so will result in Malaysia to slowly-but-surely deteriorate?

BN supporters might say “that’s not true!” But this time, I’m insisting that they are gravely wrong should they claim that.

If they (BN-Badawi-Najib-Umno) do not want another GE, and instead want to continue `as usual’ despite risking Malaysia’s wellbeing … well, I certainly will just fold my arms and just look without a word of protest should Anwar Ibrahim and PR `cheat’ by taking in those formerly BN MPs.

Since not all the BN MPs are going, it suggests that the 48 or more BN MPs whose passports have been held by the BBC are the ones most likely to benefit from not being in the country over that period of time. What if Anwar Ibrahim postpones his plans by a couple of weeks? Does that mean that the 48 BN MPs get to stay longer and learn how cows chew grass?

Today, a friend who is close to the insiders said that the BN MPs are going to Taiwan and Macao. “Macao?” you may ask. What kind of Agriculture can you find in Macao? Well apparently Macao is famous for nourishing ornamental flowers which can move. Yes they can. Please see the pictures. These ‘flowers’ not only can move but they can also shake and rattle.

Even that child knew that something is wrong with what he is doing in school.

  231. proverb says:

    Proverbs 6:14

Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.

Are you a naughty person – a wicked person? Are you able to identify people that are? Solomon listed the traits of evil men and women and their coming punishment (6:12-15). Wisdom has many advantages and facets. Here are two: do you live above the traits in this proverb? And can you identify those who do or do not? Wisdom is the power of right judgment, and you want to achieve both objectives – godly living and godly discernment.

Solomon had already described a naughty or wicked man as one that has a froward mouth (6:12). This is one of the easiest ways to identify a fool or evil man – listen! His speech will be argumentative, contrary, inappropriate, harsh, unreasonable, hurtful, and uncooperative. Wisdom teaches your mouth to avoid these despicable sins (15:28; 16:23), and it teaches you to discern them in others (9:7-8; 14:7; Eccl 10:12-14).

He further described a wicked man’s propensity for crafty and subtle tactics in his dealings with others (6:13). Rather than being direct, honest, plain, straightforward, and upfront, he sneaks his influence and opinions around, indicated by Solomon’s description of his winking eyes and message-sending feet and hands. Godly men are open and truthful, without any subterfuge of any sort. Their noble intentions are known easily.

This proverb gave three more traits of a wicked man. First, he has a froward heart. His froward speech is not merely a bad habit (6:12); it comes from a perverse, implacable, and ungovernable heart. Such men have an evil disposition. They are agitated, arrogant, difficult to deal with, hard to please, insubordinate, rebellious, and selfish. They would rather argue, complain, debate, and fight than live in peace. Godly men are the opposite. They are content, cooperative, gracious, helpful, kind, merciful, and patient.

Second, he is continually scheming mischief. His mind has no interest in the good and virtuous thoughts of a wise man (Phil 4:8). He cannot rest without conniving and conspiring to take advantage of others (4:16; Ps 36:4; Mic 2:1). God hates these persons (6:18). Their perverse and twisted hearts and minds are always imagining the worst about others and planning ways to condemn them, thwart their plans, or disrupt their peace.

Third, he is a troublemaker and disturbs the peace – he sows discord. Harmony, peace, and unity are goals of wise men, for they love peacemaking. But naughty men are addicted to backbiting, sedition, slandering, talebearing, and whispering. God hates these persons (6:19). They are contentious, and they cannot keep their unhappiness to themselves; they must disrupt the contentment and cooperation of others (16:28; 26:21).

What will God do to naughty persons? He will miserably destroy them (6:15)! He will bring calamities suddenly into their lives to tear them up and repay them for the pain and trouble they have caused others. He will break their plans and peace, and there will be no remedy from His anger. Be sure your sin will find you out! Wickedness brings judgment!

God says to you, “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls” (Jas 1:21). Reject your naughty and wicked habits. Repent, and confess them to God. Go to those you have mistreated and make peace or restitution. Do not think for a minute that hearing this warning has any value. The blessing and reward are in the doing (Jas 1:22-27)!

God and Solomon have offered you wisdom in this proverb. A wise man will see the traits of naughty men and go as far as he can in the opposite direction. A wise man will learn to discern and perceive wicked traits in others – to warn and rebuke them, or to avoid them. A wise man will train these traits entirely out of his children. A wise man will thank God for the wisdom of His word and pray for the conviction to obey it fully.

  239. jazman says:

Ms Loone, came across this crazy article in my inbox. Its a theory but i see a correlation and maybe you can tell me if this is real?

How Anwar is going to be PM

    The Real Judas

Anwar Ibrahim wants BN to think the defections before 16 September are going to come from Sabah and Sarawak. This explains the focus and frenzy surrounding MPs from East Malaysia. Their movements are being monitored, text messages have been swirling about en bloc defections and some, like Yong Teck Lee and Bernard Giluk Dompok, have been dropping broad hints about wanting to abandon the BN ship.

But the unsuspecting BN leadership is completely unaware of Anwar’s actual game plan. Sabah and Sarawak are the great diversions – Anwar’s red herrings. Sure, he may eventually end up with some defectors from East Malaysia, but the real trigger that he wants to pull will be right under UMNO’s nose. For Anwar, he needs to start with a bang. Something that will cause all other smaller component parties to tremble and quake in their boots leaving them with little choice but to jump en masse.

What Anwar wants to do is to show that he can go for the big scalps. Not your SAPP or UPKO small number of MPs, but from the senior UMNO front bench. What better way of triggering a mass exodus from BN than to show that you have top leaders from BN’s biggest party crossing over into PKR? This is the big bang that Anwar has been working on. Two or three front benchers from UMNO plus five other second tier leaders will be enough to precipitate chaos and panic within the BN ranks. It will be the catalyst of a free-for-all ship abandonment as though sailors have spotted a plague-infested rat on deck.

So, who has Anwar marked as the real Judas in this most audacious of power grab in the history of Malaysian politics. Its not that difficult to answer. Think of someone most hard done by Abdullah Badawi and Najib Razak’s gentleman’s agreement to transfer power in 2010. Someone who had political wind in his sails after the March election only to now see his future in doubt as UMNO gets ready to pick younger leaders in its annual congress. Someone who way back when, had the most coziest of cozy relationship with Anwar.

Yes, Anwar is targeting Muhyiddin Yassin to be the Judas. Muhyiddin is said to have lined up at least three other front benchers and a handful more from the back benches. Many of these MPs are fed up of both Abdullah and Najib, and see the grass being far greener with Anwar. Many of them were also ardent Anwaristas when the Opposition Leader was climbing up the greasy pole of UMNO politics.

These crossovers are said to be mutually beneficial in more ways than one. Anwar knows that the current composition of Pakatan MPs in Parliament is almost half Malay and half non-Malay. If he only manages to woo non-Malay BN MPs to defect, he will effectively head a non-Malay dominated government. This would be hard for the Malay-majority electorate to accept not to mention institutions like the royalty, military, armed forces and civil service. Anwar, therefore, desperately needs Malay MPs to defect from BN. In order for this to happen, he needs a Malay BN leader with enough seniority to attract others to follow suit. Hence, Muhyiddin.

But that’s not all. Anwar has already over-promised his buddies in DAP. He knows that he has to make Lim Kit Siang one of his Deputy Prime Ministers. That’s not going to sit well with Malays, whether they are UMNO, PAS or PKR supporters. Regardless of the muhibbah rhetoric coming out of Pakatan and its acceptance by the Bangsar Starbucks Melayu, the heartland and grunt Malays cannot stand Kit Siang. To them he and his party stand for everything that is anti-Malay.

That being the case, Anwar has to counter-balance Kit Siang’s appoitment as DPM with a heavyweight Malay politician as another deputy. Of course he could appoint Hadi Awang and complete the unholy trinity of Pakatan parties as PM and two DPMs, and he probably would offer Hadi the post anyway. But he knows that Hadi cannot be trusted. After all, it is Hadi and Nasharuddin Mat Isa that almost tore PAS out of Pakatan with their secret rendezvous with Abdullah. Anwar has neither forgiven nor forgotten this act of betrayal by Hadi. He also knows that during the Permatang Pauh by-election, it wasn’t Hadi that came to pinch hit for him in the last few days to turn Malay opinion around in the light of Saiful Bukhari’s religious oath that he was buggered by Anwar. Hadi came briefly, gave a 10 minute speech complaining of a cough and hot footed it out of there. Instead it was Nik Aziz Nik Mat that came to Anwar’s rescue, using his aura as a pondok alim to persuade the faithful in Permatang Pauh not to believe Saiful’s oath.

Anwar’s preferred choice as DPM from PAS is not an MP. He is the man that whispers instructions into Nik Aziz’s ear and he was the most senior PAS leader present when Anwar was declared winner after all the votes were tallied. Husam Musa cannot, for now, join a federal government because of state duties in Kelantan, but he is very much the bridge that Anwar wants to cultivate in PAS.

So with the bad blood between Anwar and Hadi, even if Anwar offers Hadi a DPM post it would be out of courtesy to keep Pakatan together. Which means he would need another senior Malay leader to be a third deputy and the de facto most senior deputy with Anwar’s full confidence and trust. He could appoint Azmin, but many would be uncomfortable with that prospect. So who better than Muhyiddin – a senior cabinet minister with experience in government. An UMNO warlord who can attract support from UMNO Malays and prevent Anwar from looking too dependent on non-Malay support. And most crucially, someone who Anwar trusts because back in the days of Anwar as DPM, when he said jump, Muhyiddin jumped.

If BN leaders are looking at East Malaysia for potential jumpers, they are looking far away from where the threat really is. Anwar has secured Muhyiddin and its merely a matter of timing. Muhyddin has to deliver Anwar a handsome number of MPs in return for being made DPM under Anwar. That, according to sources, is underway and the count is increasing by the day.

The plan is simple yet clever. Obvious yet deceptive. BN is about to lose the kingdom from right under its nose.

East Malaysians are brainless people who could only follow the uncle/nephew family of the white hair. If they take over, we would be in worst situation than now.
You know Sarawak with its vast resources is amongst the poorest states (if not the poorest state)? Everything is controlled by one man, Taib! Everyone worksfor one family, Taib’s sons and brothers!
I don’t want to see that happen!
After one party AMINO bleeding AMINOputras, I have enough of such crap for the rest of my life. – By Bujang

Money, money, money…shouts Lim Keng Yaik and I couldn’t agree more.

  241. Menyalak-er says:

Yes, jazman (20:57), that is the way this should go with Muhyiddin Judas thingy.
But i think it may be premature to speculate. But, i do agree that DSAI is pulling a fast one on Dopey and gang. The Sabahans & Sarawakians will probably pull out and but their own parties within the PR coalition.
Otoh, It may just be a ‘red herring’, because Muhyiddin is quite popular within bumno, and that this article is just to smear him. There is no love lost betw. him and c4 no.2.
He is known for his loyalty to the goonsquad, but with that depPM dangling in front of his eyes, lets hope he got the will (testosterone) to carry it through.
He will certainly change the whole complex equation of 0916; he didn’t say much in P.P., did he?
Well, i for one will wait to see until hell freezes over whether he ‘kataks’ or not.
If so, some dep. min. like Husni (finance) etc. also will (old DSAI mates) and that will be worth watching! Blockbuster-stuff!
Dopey and c4 will disappear into oblivion with bumno goons. KhanJi will probably be in Oz with tinman and scarecrow but no Dorothy to rape.
Tengku razaleigh with (ugh) ?Mukhriz will try to reform and restructure – with questionable results.
That my friends is the best scenario. Cheers.

If Anwar were to come to power the share market will shoot up by at least 60 points in its initial reaction. So all of u who dare to take the bet will win handsomely if the reality come true.Since our PM is thinking of retiring soon I think he would not be that bothered who comes to power.

Have you considered these two possibilities?

    1. Our BN MPs are “going green”. Thus, the need for the
    agric study tour overseas.
    2. They need the rest and recreation after the energy and
hard work they put into the bruising
“Mother of All Bye-Elections” recently concluded in
    Permatang Pauh.

P.S. I hope they took Air Asia and helped to cut down on
expenditure of Malaysian tax payer money.

You are right, Badawi thinks Anwar will lose face? Anwar has already won, and Badawi is making BN look more and more idiotic and pathetic. They can go for a holiday until January, but when they return, it is all over anyway….
Perhaps Badawi is making a deal with the police to shoot or kill Anwar.
Why not? The Police helped Najib and his wife kill that model….
If Badawi had guts, he would declare a state of Emergency, and suspend Parliament,
but the guy is so weak, and so stupid, all he can think of is to bribe these guys to go overseas for a couple of weeks. Mahathir must be laughing his head off. By the way, has the IGP left the hospital yet? Police boss also such a baby, a bit of stress, masuk hospital, typical bapok.

What IDIOTIC scheme (or scam) of a study trip is all this, IDIOTS from the planner (BBC) to the endorsers (PM/DPM) to the people jumping on the bandwagon. WHO IS PAYING???? For goodness sake, how can a government study trip be so adhoc (not enough time for China visa, so go Taiwan last minute, list of people still not finalised…
Dont take the rakyat for IDIOTS like them, to believe all this crap. They can all get a ONE WAY TICKET to China or Taiwan or DownUnder Ozzie, or even the
real DOWNUNDER …(you know which DOWNUNDER I mean lah)
The sleepy and flipflop guy has said rakyat must change their lifestlye because of fuel price rise. Well, this is a classic example of lifestyle change he meant. Spending thousands of rakyat money on this stupid “trip” in order to save Umno.
Instead of resolving current issues facing the country, these bums have got the cheek to go on a so called study trip in these trying times.
