Image: suspected phantom voters in Ijok. Will there be similar cases in Permatang Pauh?
“Khairy Jamaluddin had said in a ceramah that BN wil deploy many, many workers to make sure nothing goes wrong with the BN machinery”.
Is this a warning to those planning to detour buses suspected of carrying phantom voters into P44?

It’s only 7 hours to polling day (Aug 26) in Permatang Pauh. Are you ready for the results? The election commission says that results will be out as early as 8pm.
If BN lose, will it still be that early? I remember it was really difficult to tally the last March 8 results.
Are these fake ICs paraded on the table – suspicious? It seems BN/UMNO are going around offering loans for RM3,000 after the by-election. Drivers ferrying voters are offered RM50.
And the ICs are collected for the purpose of loan application (says Ampang MP PKR’s Zuraida Kamaruddin).
MAFREL is also sounding the alarm that “the forces against free and fair elections will be expected to try their best to undermine the credibility of the election –together with the people’s choice, up to the last minute of polling and announcement of result”.
My sources tell me that the ground is extremely quiet. So quiet that it is ‘unsettling’.
A keen election observer told me that the ‘ground is very tense now’, adding that there were ‘fights’ going on.
Meanwhile, there is an effort going about rallying Indians to take part in demonstrations. Please DO NOT heed those calls.
I reckon that rumours are making the rounds for people, especially voters, to stay away from the elections.
A journalist informed me that there are traffic jams in Permatang Pauh, as well as heavy police presence circling the town, especially Chinese areas, in trucks.
Is this a ploy to instill ‘fear’ in the Chinese community? It seems PKR is prepared for this as they are reaching out for the Chinese voters in the last lap of their campaign.
The BN candidate Arif Shah is holding a ‘ceramah perdana’ (main ceramah) in his house tonight at 9pm.
Will there be food, food and more food again?
Meanwhile, how are our newspapers performing?
Please monitor closely and let me know.
I see hundreds of reporters around – international, regional, national, local. But news coverage is far from pleasing for some papers.
