Nice poster there by Mob’s Crib.

Read about the blogger’s support for Penarik Beca at Bukit Aman yesterday on Mahaguru’s blog. There are some pixs to go with it also.

According to Bernama, Blogger Bakar Haq of Penarik Beca was detained under the Sedition Act for his article about the police force and the inspector-general of police on his blog. This could probably be the BLOG POST as pointed out by Nathaniel Tan @ jelas.info.

“Someone” had lodged a police report against him. Who? Wow, the police are so so so very efficient these days.

He was NOT arrested due to he being a PAS supporter or whatever, or that he had written a post about the PAS-UMNo talks. Instead…

“Commercial Crime Investigation Department cyber crimes unit investigating officer Superintendent Victor Sanjos said the 50-year-old was detained at his home in Taman Koperasi Polis under the Sedition Act 1948”.

“He, in his blog, had published an article which showed a modified logo of the Royal Malaysia Police with derogatory comments about IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan, including claims that he was being controlled by Chinese crime syndicates,” he said.

He stayed the night at the Dang Wangi police station lock-up and would be released today.

Lets watch out for more drama, if any.

23 This is what the LORD says:
“Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom
or the strong man boast of his strength
or the rich man boast of his riches,

24 but let him who boasts boast about this:
that he understands and knows me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
    justice and righteousness on earth,
    for in these I delight,”

Saya sudah lama benci pada polis , rasuah polis kian berlambak .

Let us be frank bout this.
Which one you like the polis? Answer frankly.
As for me, i already declared the polis as lame fat pigs on the take years ago.
“penarik beca” have the absolute rights to modified the pdrm logo.
pdrm definitely do NOT and does NOT have a clean image.
Why don’t you all have do a vote?

I am glad I learnt world history.

Most of the dictators and tyrants of the past died in the hands of their own man.
Their own man plotted their downfall and ended tyranny. Their destruction came suddenly and shocked the world.

There is a saying thats worth remembering, “If you choose to carry the sword, you will eventually die by the same sword you carried in you hand”.

There is another saying thats worth taking caution, ‘Violence begets violence’.

So, if you combine the two sayings: If you promote extreme behavioral patterns of instilling fear for eg. the famous Hitler, the people who will hate you the most, will be the people who live around you daily, beacause they won’t be able to bear the fear you are instilling in them too for long. There will be a breaking point.

Let us learn from the history pages and emulate the good only and discard the bad.

This is Malaysia we are talking about. Home of the kangaroo courts, corrupted police force and race based politics.

  12. Sometimes there’s a very thin line between what’s permissible and what’s prosecutable
Very often we don’t even know exactly when and where ‘enforcers’ will turn the table
Yet we all know too well that for a country to be really thriving and seen to be openly stable
We are required to stay away and are not allowed to pull any of the ‘classified, sensitive but wrong’ cables

Talking about a logo and it’s significance to the people,

How much it would have ached Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to have used his ‘bruised-eye’ logo to signify his political struggle.

Surely he doen’t want others to go through exactly what he experienced while in police custody.

I think the ‘bruised-eye’ logo is the eye-opener to many Malaysians.
Will Malaysians support the bruised-eye logo that has tied up well with the rocket( up we go) and the bulan( All rounded) logos than any other logo.

    Hidup Bruised-Eyed Logo!!!!!

  14. Bronze Wall says:

The ‘bruised eyed’ logo signifies the actual truth about the political situation in Malaysia now.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s political vision was accurate and right!!!

  15. Hunk says:

The police force is a sham. They has been appraised by the public during the Royal Police Commission tour and the findings is abysmal of the police conducts ranging from underhand fixing of cases, corruption, gross misuse of powers and such findings can only be compared to the Secret Police in Russia. However Russia has State sponsored political executions while in Malaysia, it was done with much finesse such as in the case of Anwar Ibrahim.

My support wholeheartedly to blogger “Penarik Beca” although I cannot of visiting his blog yet.

I am referring to the first commenter by the id of crash (11:53:17) :

He is asking why we need to be having group photos and smiling?

What the heck do you expect us to do?

Put on a drama act of crying boo hoo hoo and shed tears in the bloody rain?

Grow up bro! Whoever you are?

We were there because we cared for one of our blogger buddies who got arrested and interrogated because it seems the fellow had published an insulting altered logo of the PDRM!

    We didn’t know that yesterday?

We thought that Bakaq got arrested because he blogged about the PAS-UMNO pow wow and he spilled the beans about that secret pact?

If I had known that Bakaq got nabbed because of his stupid act of publishing such an insulting logo defaming the (entire) Police Force identifying them as dogs, do you think that I would have wasted my time driving in the pouring rain and putting off my other important tasks just to grab some publicity???

In Hokkien aa, I will say to you straight to your face ( tiu na seng aa peng yu!!!)!!!

    Damn!!!

Why is it that you guys are so bloody quick to assume this and that about us?

    Hello!!!!

I don’t need no freaking publicity my friend!

As Bloggers , we have a sense of ‘esprit de corps’

All for one and one for all bullshit!!!

If it was you who got plastered, I wouldn’t have known you, would I?

Why the hell do you think, those of us were there in the first place?

To get our bloody faces in the newspapers????

Go and take a flying leap into whatever suits you sir!!!

We were there because we considered Bakaq as a close friend!

We didn’t know about this logo shit!

Those of us who have been in this blogosphere have come to establish close connections.

I mean those of us who have the balls to show our face, print out our hp numbers, email address and everything else save give you our home addresses only, that is?

Those anonymous spineless cybersnipers who moan and cry here about this and that wouldn’t have the spine to turn up at the Bukit Perdana Government Complex, would they?

Hello brother, before you come here and try to badmouth us, please…please check your facts about who the hell each of us are in the first place and kindly, do not make any assumptions as to why the hell we were there in the first place?

Hope, I have cleared the air for you and solved your freaking mystery!

Pardon the french but you just pissed me off….

  18. Menyalak-er says:

Wah Mahaguru58, your french power la!
What you said is absolutely true.
Especially when the target of your affection ‘unwittingly’ said the ‘bloggers alliance’.
Alliance? Absolutely pre-60’s stuff. Redundant as my prepuce.
The ‘real’ bloggers, like your goodself, are the conscience of this f***ed up system. You guys are absolutely fearless and understand the meaning of free speech.
You see to many others there is no such thing as ‘espirit d’corp’ because these termites are so divided up by the establishment so long, that they are afraid of their own shadow.
When the tough gets going they disappear into the woodwork.
Me -i was once a termite, but no more – because people like you destroyed my ‘cocoon’ and brought me back into awareness.
Thank you, bro. for your french and humor.
Go give them hell… and to ‘penarik becha’ Haq, Godspeed.

  21. Feroz Merican says:

Of course the police are going to arrest bloggers and artists, you can’t expect them to arrest murderers, rapists, embezzlers and the rest of the civil service do you? Be realistic. Beat first, get a confession then put on trial, if there is no evidence plant it. If there is evidence pay thousands to get your way out of it.
If arrested and sent to jail pay thousands more to escape. This is the way the Royal Malaysian Police has operated ever since the reign of IGP Hanif Omar.

How much did Najib pay them to keep his wife out of it? That’s what I want to know. How much will he pay to keep Baginda alive? What is a man’s life worth in Malaysia? If you are rich and important, millions and if you are not, nothing.

  22. Menyalak-er says:

Aiya, chaps, ori la ok, simple mistake…
Excellent bit of cynicism from Fairoz Merican! Way to go. Are you ever gonna return physically Fairoz? In dire need for pple like you now…
    G’day.

  23. Feroz Merican says:

Hi, Menyalaker, thank you for your kind words. I hope to return one day, if not for months then for a few weeks at least. You never know, but I hope the “freedom” we have experienced for the last several months manages to survive and will stay with us for years. Your work as bloggers makes it easier for writers to hope of being published in Malaysia. Writers who want to talk of uncomfortable matters and the straight truth. In a sense, you are the pathfinders (and the risk takers) and your sacrifice cannot be underestimated.
As for me, I have a book of stories that I want to publish in Malaysia, maybe I could hide out with you when the crap hits the fan!

  24. Menyalak-er says:

Yeah, Fairoz, no problem at all- will put you up. Really looking forwards to see your literary genius. Cheers mate.
