Why did prime minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his deputy Najib Tun Razak escape the press last night, after the UMNO supreme council meeting in Kuala Lumpur?

Ashamed to answer why PAS has snubbed their invitations for dialogues while they (UMNO) still want to pursue them? To talk about Islam this time. What about “Malay unity” ? Rejection is painful, isn’t it?

What about feeling ashamed that the US has ‘interfered’ largely by telling you to your faces to observe the rule of law in Anwar Ibrahim’s latest sodomy case?

That’s like a slap in the face. Abdullah’s policy paper, Malaysian Insider even remarked that only Myanmar, Sudan and Zimbabwe could afford to ignore International opinion. But no, not Malaysia.

Doesn’t this tell you something?

And Najib, afraid you might flip flop when the press pursue you again for answers on Raja Petra Kamaruddin’s latest revelation that you and Saiful Bukhairy had planned the sodomy allegations against Anwar? Remember RPK has the video tape?

It’s rare that the two leaders refrain from having a press conference after their meetings.

They are often only too happy to meet the press after their long and boring get-to-gethers. The poor journalists. I know they often have to wait long and hard because one never knows when the meetings will end.

It could be anytime from 9pm to midnight or beyond. I know, I’ve been there.

These are the times when journalists sit around and ‘gossip’ or just update their peers on the current happenings while all the time complaining about having to wait for those goons to finish plotting their next move to fool the nation.

What big strategy are they planning this time until they have nothing to say except “no comment”?

Until they could not face the waiting journalists and headed for a quick exit?

I wished they’ll make the same quick exit out of our lives soon.

They ran away in order not to answer the Raja Petra bombshell. Wat would they say? And remember RPK is being persecuted by the AG’s Champers and not Najis and Rosmati who are using Gunny Pathell to silence their critics. And definately they couldn’t answer the US reprimand because they have failed. Just imagine when “intellectual” Said Humid Alba met 96 diplomats and bragged that he has “convinced” them that they were following the right procedures, the US tells them to “follow the right one” not the UMNO one, stupid. What a failure. Najib will send his daughter to the US next month for education, if he hates the US, he shoould send her to local universities. Oh, sorry, they have never done, so why should they do now. But they try to manipulate feeble minded Malays.

Isn’t the signs of economic disaster looming over our nation sufficient ground for the nation to push ahaead as ONE-ness??? Such narrow parachiol calls of partisaian politics should be condemned. The 50 years of nationhood have not teach us to be wiser and unite as a nation, rather we need another 50 years to truly unite the country.

Unfortunately the natural resources of the country is fast vanishing, and the

Our national leaders don’t care for the nation as long as they could enrich themselves using divisions among the people and preaching LIES.

It seems they are too preoccupied with the prospect of losing power and too ashamed to admit it. Pak Lah and Najib knew that whatever they say will haunt them again especially the botched plan to hoodwink PAS yet again. PAS has shown great maturity in coming out to publicly declare their loyalty to PR and admit that the dialogue is…just a dialogue. No concrete action will be taken along party lines.
‘Em UMNO goons must be shocked to learn that PAS isn’t blinded by the glitter and seduction of money like them. PAS members are a principled lot and so far, as far as I know, not a single one of them jumped ship to join UMNO, unlike PKR. That does tell us something about principled centered leadership. I suggest UMNO return to the books and study how to “ambil hati” the rakyat again. Don’t entice/bribe/corrupt us with promises that won’t be delivered anytime soon. Go and read Dr. Stephen Covey’s book, Principle Centered Leadership. Or maybe you UMNO goons find it boring to read a book, then listen to the audio tape/CD.

Perhaps it’s time for you to go and make way for a fresh new beginning for Malaysia.

Yes! They are afraid to meet the Press as there are many imcriminating questions to be asked. I feel strongly that though PAS rejected UMNO/BN approach for Malay/Islam unity, PAS knows too well of the intriques especially of UMNO, the evilness of Najib appears to be involved in the assassination of Altantayu. As for press freedom, Malaysia, it is better than of Sudan, Burma and Zimbabwe. It is good for the blogs keeping on exposing on them

Back home you have plenty of unanswered questions from the intelligent and INFORMED rakyat:
    1. What happened to the late Mongolian citizen’s immigression records?
    2. Why was PI Bala handled in such hasty and mysterious manner?
    3. Why all the flip-flops from DPM with Saifol?
    4. Why are your men fanning racial sentiments on the brink of being seditious as seen from their talks with PAS?

The problem is journalists both local and overseas failed to ask the PM and DPM during the PCs the pertinent questions that we want to read/hear.

  17. Bigjoe says:

These whole episode of Badawi is symptomatic of his entire administration. When he think he is doing a smart thing, he end up doing the most stupid thing. Not only has he got made it working with PAS in the future more unlikely and strengthen PAS relationship with PR, he has made it such that BN component parties question their relationship with UMNO.

There are many that will have to answer back to their constituent that if BN loses, UMNO will turn Islamist and wreck this country i.e., that if they can’t have it they will destroy it. Its an insult to all Malaysian who seek to be moderate and tolerant – summararily condemned as untrutworthy in treating each other with equality and respect without regard to race, religion.

It would be a good idea to have a systematic witch hunt in this country after 50 years of being virtually a one party state. Those who don’t want to be caught with their pants down, should flee the country now while there is still time. This applies especially to Mahathir and family, Najib and family, Rafidah Aziz &Co, the IGP and the AG, among others.

The first act of the Reformasi Government should be the confiscation of the passports of prime suspects, a travel ban, and the setting up of a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the May 13 Race Riots and the Taman Medan riots. Many of the perpetrators are still around and they need to be brought to justice.

    International Coffee Boy

I understand the general skepticism that has greeted Mohd Saiful Bukhari bin Azlan’s police report accusing Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim of allegedly buggering him. Many Malaysians have said, “Not again…” or “Can’t they come up with something better?” Whatever your take on this may be, I think its best that everyone allows due process to take place and since the level of cynicism is extremely pronounced, there should be some sort of independent verification for possible key evidence e.g. a foreign forensic expert going through whatever tests that need to be done to prove or disprove that the said buggery took place.

But the one thing that I could never figure out is this: When Saiful made his police report, he was identified as a special assistant to Dato’ Seri Anwar. Special assistant means someone with exclusive contact with their employer, someone who has personal dealings with their principal. But shortly after the report was made, Keadilan apparatchiks went on the offensive saying that Saiful was a mere volunteer at the party HQ – a very small, insignificant cog in the giant wheel that is Keadilan and Friends. He was described by Anwaristas as an assistant to an assistant and more specifically as a “coffee boy.” In fact, Dato’ Seri Anwar himself said that Saiful was “not a permanent member of the staff” and only earned a part-time allowance.

So they established clearly that Saiful was a nobody and implied that he would not have had much significant, personal contact with Dato’ Seri Anwar. A volunteer coffee boy that dropped out of university. No more, no less.

But here’s the problem. Dato’ Seri Anwar also admitted that he has taken Saiful along during his foreign trips. Now, why in the world would you take your volunteer coffee boy on an overseas visit? If he was a nobody, just as Dato’ Seri Anwar and his lackeys painted him out to be, why would he be part of a coveted overseas entourage?

The only explanation I can think of is that his coffee must be damn, bloody good.

Part of the problem of citizens now is we are in the blame game season. Blame everything on the politicians and even some call for the King to get into the foray (too early perhaps).

The revelations of impropreity/judicial fixing/corruption in high places have come out in recent years.

I always read Malaysiakini for updated news. But this time around I couldn’t read a piece of news, i.e, after the UMNO supreme coucil meeting, there was no press conference.

UMNO’s main topic of discussion was the UMNO-PAS meet-up that had taken place 3 times since the 308 election. The meetings had drawn much criticism from the people-at-large. Pak Lah had always claimed that he was the PM of all citizens. But now he was being accused of playing the racial card in order to save his declining kingdom. For that cause, at this moment of time it is understood that he would be too embarrassed to face the journalists and public.

Was there a heated deabte in the coucil meeting? Was Pak Lah being rounded up? Or the whole council stood by him for continued talks with PAS in order to split Pakatan?

Pak Lah had fallen into the present dilemma, sometimes I think much of the troubles in fact came from his deputy, Najib. Did Najib consult Pak Lah for his action in order to gain back his scathed reputation? It is likend as “Did the Right hand know what the Left is doing?” I doubted Pak Lah know before-hand. For example his meeting up with Saiful for plotting against Anwar for sodomy claimed by Raja Petra. Pak Lah could be in the dark. And subsequently the Right hand had to pick up the dung which was cast by the Left, and after picking it up he even had to hide it and made himself sting.

The only solution for Pak Lah to free himself is to throw them all out! PM must determine to prove his government free from stains.

Based on my various intel, this entire shenanigan was started by an UMNO mole in PAS, and that mole’s name is Mustafa Ali.

Apparently, he has been forging relationships with Pak Lah’s office even before the 2008 General Eletctions.

For instance, he has been routinely sending final copies of Harakah for proof reading to Pak Lah’s office and will publish stories that benefits the Pak Lah camp. Before the election, he was obeying Pak Lah’s request to publish stories vilifying Najib Tun Razak.

Many people in Harakah knows about Mustafa Ali’s relations with the Pak Lah’s team and they have actually noticed these activities for quite some time now.

It’s true that right after Selangor had fallen, a delegation was sent to see Pak Lah. The original plan was noble, that is, to prevent UMNO from scheming acts of violence that can lead the country into chaos and the Emergency laws will be invoked.

Aiya! Dear sloony, these syaitans are afraid of the press (the lights).

For 600 years, the umnoputras had been under colonial rule. This implies that umnoputras are just not capable of ruling a country.

When you let them rule a country, see what has happened to Malaysia?

Sigh! All these syaitans joining politics not to rule the country efficiently, prudently and effectively but are like the foreign colonial masters, they are out to plunder the wealth of rakyat and nation.

The syaitans in BN should and/or must be completely barbecued in order to rid the evil spirits on Bolehland soil.

Otherwise it will be like the lalang, springing and multiplies like wild fire.

The ratio of racial composition was 50:35:15 but now is 70:25:5. The syaitans have outgrown the angels.

Bolehland must start obliterating all these black souled sysitans before Bolehland is under colonial rule again like Iraq.

  63. Menyalak-er says:

    G’day friends,
Well i hate disagree with some of the comments thus posted. But i’ve to say this:
    1. The Rule of Law is absolutely supreme in this country. The Rules of Justice is not. Here the Law is being used to subvert any efforts to change the present order of things.
    2. Malaysia is not a black sheep in the world community. Its the ruling politicos who are regarded as dung beetles. There is no more Be-eNd, it is only b-UMNO who is calling the ejaculatory shots, weak as they may be.
    3. b-UMNO, having lost all their credibility and ejaculatory power is unable to stem the loss of morale amongst their grassroot. Therefore, a lot of wayang kulit and sandiwaras (including those of the XX-kind) are being played out merely for entertainment value to those who are more discerning.
    4. b-UMNo leaders are the so intelligent and erudite, that they will snub any controversial questions from the ‘free’-press and will only issue statements to their lap-dog reporters. This is to avoid confusing themselves as to what answers they would or should give.
    5. Some of their statements border on insanity e.g. the b-UMNO assemblyman from Seberang Prai who want’s to sell the SPMC building because its got “bad Fong-Shui”. So much for their Islamic values.
    6. There is so much distortion and denial of reality that everyone of us must gaurd against false accusations, deceptions, self-generated grandiosity, paranoia, hysterical outbursts and downright lies.
    7. When the time comes, the abcess that is b-UMNO will be lanced and collapse. That is when national healing must take place – with sacrifices and psychological turmoil from each one of us that will contribute to the good of all.
Meanwhile, “don’t worry, be happy” as per the song.
Many thanks dear Susan for pricking the abcess…

While the people suffers, the people in power continues to play political games of perception via the MSM and it will eventually spiral this nation’s economy dry. This round of inflation and recession is not like before, thus we need a govt with responsibility to its peoples not for their own race and pockets. They are using the race card to just fish for votes to keep onto power by giving crumbs to pursue the ketuanan concepts where in actual facts, the govt have had failed miserably by the many unemployed local graduates to date.

Just like in a manufacturing outfit, only after details QC can a finished product be exported for sales. Thus, we need total revamp on issue related to education and we cannot allow the govt to continues spinning that we are producing quality graduates locally while all top ‘ politikus ‘ have their children educated in countries other than beloved M’sia. Arrogance is often a camouflage for deep insecurity and a chronic sense of inferiority. Look under Mahathir’s braggadocio and bravado and you’ll see a hurt, angry Malayalee schoolboy forced to pull his own ears and do squats in front of the whole class, resentful of being teased because his daddy is a “keling.” The same bodoh-sombong attitude born of low self-esteem permeates all this talk of “Takkan Melayu hilang di dunia” and conveniently serves as a front for organized banditry, piracy and outright thuggery. All these issues lie at the core of Umno and Umnoputraism – which, left untreated and unaddressed, has festered into a species of terminal cancer. Thankfully, out of the ashes of the bodoh-sombong Umno a new Malaysian ethos will emerge that sees us proud to be ourselves without trying desperately to compete with the Mat Sallehs and impress them with all the superficial trappings of sophistication. The self-confident Malay has long existed in the arts and academia – but you won’t find him or her in business or politics. Not until Umno is dead and buried!

Thus, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s historical status will be different in Umno. It can wipe away his shame during the 8 March general elections and becomes a Malay hero who “saves Umno from raging waves”.

Of course, BN’s history will be different as well. Umno and Pas will share BN’s regime while other member parties will be pushed further to become decorative embellishment.

BN’s ideology will be the ruling foundation of a combination of Umno’s nationalism and Pas’ religiosity.

BN’s traditional multi-racial power sharing mechanism will collapse and replaced by a Malay Muslim-core mechanism.

What do you think about such a country?

And one important aspect in this whole episode is that Saiful’s ‘God Mother’ is Mumtaz Jaafar — who is Rosmah Mansor’s nominee and ‘bag lady’ in all their clandestine business deals.

Now does that explain why Najib agreed to meet Saiful? Many just could not understand why a busy and important Deputy Prime Minister would want to waste time meeting a university dropout. It is because Saiful is Mumtaz’s ‘God Son’. That was why Najib met him.

Looking at Saiful’s uncle, who looks and acts like his auntie, you can now begin to understand what makes that young man tick. Did the doctor find Saiful’s uncle’s semen specimen in the young man’s sorry butt and that is why the police are not able to charge Anwar? That may explain why the police released Anwar on police bail after the dramatic Hollywood-style arrest just a day earlier.

    Friend chaptokam,
Don’t bring China, Vietnam, CIA, Olympics, Tibet and all sorts of other junk etc into conversation which is irrelevant to the issue at hand o.k.?
Don’t dabble in things your mind cannot comprehend, and i agree with kesava & wits0, especially about xenophobia and your delusions of grandeur.
My ancestors were massacred during the Boxer Rebellion by people who thought like you, so watch what you say.
Not all of the immigrants here are “economic” oppurtunists like you. Some of us were forced here and we love this nation as much as you love your “idol”.
    Enough of humbug.

  127. chaptokam says:

    Menyalak-er

Inspite of your highly trained intelligence , from the way you write and from your bombastic vocabulary , I find that you have little tolerance for other people to post their thoughts . Can you take it that I am free to post my thoughts without any interference from you ? Or do you feel that you are acting like the US ? mau campor tangan in everthing people say ?? That’s also my observation !

So you have freedom to say anything you want ! right ! and I have to kow tow to you ?
Your ancestors got massacred during the boxer rebellion , none of my business and I don’t want to know either .
So you are branding all the Chinese and Indians as immigrants ! and can you specifically say why I am a ‘economic” opprtunists ! pls explain ! mr know all!

I wonder who’s my idol , you seem to know more about me than I know myself .

Everthing is humbug except Anwar your idol !!!

  128. chaptokam says:

    For the rest ,

They can say anything to shiok sendiri . For their own entertainment .

They can twist and turn every statement you make , but I chose not to reply silly unsubstantiated comments . Have your say until drop dead I couldn’t care .

Take it easy man. Your blood pressure going up, it is no good lah. I am sure you want to be alive and kicking when they handout the verdict on the Altantuya trial.

As they say “one type of rice, feed many types of people”, we all have different opinions but one aim – a better Malaysia.

    Cheers

Le us have some level heads here. This week in Aljezeera TV Listening post is running a programme on the involvement of the CIA in Iran as early as 1953 when they overthrew a legally elected democratic governmet and installed the Shah of Iran. We know the rest of the stroy.

The Statement by the Secretary of State on the Anwar case is the thin end of the wedge. Once they get their foot in the door the rest will be history.

But having said that it does not mean that I condone the actions of the government. I my travels I have observed that if you look at all the countries that have a annual per capita in come of over US 5,000, except for single resource countries, meet the minimum standards of the rule of law and good governance. The man – on – the – street should demand no less and expect no less from the people who rule us be it the opposition or the government.

The government with the help of the Ketua Setiausaha Negara (KSN) should use Chapter D of the General Orders and instruct all heads of depatrments not to abdicate their duties and do what is expected of them. To use their powers to nib the bad hats in the bud. No pun intended.

Our strengthen must be further strengthened and our weakness must be identified and strengtnened immediately if we are to reach the goal of a developed country by the year 20/20.

  131. chaptokam says:

    ah Long

Thanks for the advice , will take it easy for today ,

like you said the blood pressure sure went up ! Have a nice day buddy .

Cheers from me to you .

  132. Menyalak-er says:

    Dear chaptokam,
Hahaha… well written, wah no need to get so riled up!
Just testing the boundaries. This is called ‘baiting’-la, u know bull-baiting and all that?
ah Long absolutely right, we must stay together to change this blighted system! Although we disagree a lot.
And we need a fighter like you, the spear point so to speak…
Btw, DSAI, not my ‘idol’ but i want to see justice done, and therefore must not have ‘idol’. Comprendo? No hard feelings, ok?
    Cheers.

For the last 10 years since the first sodomy episode in 1998, I always have been suspicous of TDM as his good friend Mugabe also did in his political enemy Canal Banana on sodomy b4 it happened in malaysia. I thought TDM took the whole thing and plant it in malaysia and now we have it all over again.

  134. ah Long says:

    Menyalak
You are a gentleman & a scholar. I am sure chaptokam is one also.

There os little doubt that the CIA, MI5 and ASIO have all been active in Msia since even before Merdeka. There is no doubt that MI5 British Intellgence knew or there were behind the May 15 racail riots.

Declassified papers now confirmed that MI5 were in fact advising Tun Razak the then DPM to overthrow Tunku Abdul Rahman. The Britsh were afraid that the Tunku was getting too friendly with the Chinese.

At that time the Western nations were terrified of China. They had the false impression of the growing bcommunist yellow peril. The USA even went to war in Vietnam to “contain” the yellow peril.

Now whether the CIA has any involvement in the current Malaysian politics, I don’t know. I don’t think they have very much interest in us but knowing America if they can see an advantage they will no doubt want to take advantage of it.

So I say, if we want to throw shit at one another let us do so internally, between Malaysians. Lets us not bring the fcuking Yanks into this or the Indonesians for this matter.

  135. ah Long says:

    EVERYBODY LISTEN,

Everbody have missed one very important thing. Altantuya was employed as a translator. She was fluent in French & Russian & English.

So, Najib & Baginda both went to France at the same time for the signing and inspection of the submarines. They were be dealing with both the French & Russians. Don’t you think they will have Altantuya who is the translator for his senior aid Baginda accompany them during this trip????

Unless both Najib & Baginda got hidden talents that we don’t know off and they both can speak fluent French & Russian. Surely, they will have Altantuya accompany them to do the translation?

Najib….you lying scum!!!! You have met Altantuya in Paris. An it is not unconceivable that the three of you had dinner together. Nothing wrong with collegues having dinner together after work whilst on a business trip. Why did you have to lie??

Najib, you are a scumbag. Gotcha.

  136. ah Long says:

How hard is it for the the “Royal” Malaysian Polis and the Public prosecutors to check with French officials that all the three silly buggers were in Paris at the same time.

Not too hard at all, they will most probably get an answer within 24 hours.

If the French can confirm that all 3 were in bed together, as a manner of speaking, Najib….your babi is well cooked and ready to be served. All that is needed is a red apple in your mouth before we carved out your big fat ass.

  137. chaptokam says:

    Menyalak-er

    Handshake to you .

Comprendo No hard feelings ! !

    Cheers.

  138. Menyalak-er says:

I hate to bring this up, but the yanks certainly got more than a bit of juice in this ‘nonsense’ going down. Malaysia is vitally important as a strategic state that straddles the Str. of Malacca. A chokehold just like the Str. of Hormuz. It is to their interest to keep M’sia ‘friendly’ and I’d rather’ve yanks with us rather than against us. Ourtrade is quite dependant on them. As somebody pointed out, when they sneeze – we die of flu. They tend to be more liberal and give more leeway, unlike those frenchies/euro types.
I would rather have them around than say the Japs or even China, who tend to treat us as a vassal state, you know the “bunga mas”/taikor thing.
I don’t think they are interfering directly now, despite the antiAmericanism that bUMNO is screaming about, but if you want to break N-name, they’ll have the stuff already. More likely, the pressure will be from their allies in the Mid-East. Their greatest FUBAR is Iraq.

    Dear Susan,

“Please don’t attack me and I also hope Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will return to Umno’s fold. I want everyone to be united in Umno.” unquote.

Born with a “Silver Spoon” since birth, he has never had to “Struggle or Toil Personally” for anything.

Just like saying…Mummy, I only had fun with their daughter & I swear I do not know her or where she is now….and they are scolding me, etc….

Mummy, I WANT you to tell them not to scold me and support me instead !” What a “Cry baby”.

Had ALL our BN Leaders been Truthful, Honest & Sincere in Honouring their “Sworn Allegience” to our King, to “discharge their “Duties”with “Dignity, Honour & without Fear or Favour” to this great nation & the rayaat in the last four decades……

There would not have been the need for any “Protests, Petitions, or even the unnecessary murder of an innocent mother, the “Evolution of Bloggers” & SDs, kidnapping, etc.

To be a LEADER of this great nation, one has to STRIVE for it & face any CHALLENGES Personally, to EARN the “Respect and Support” of the members & rayaat.

This great nation & its Downtrodden rayaat seek nothing but the “Truth” from BN & their Leaders and Malaysia badly NEEDS “True Towering Malaysians Leaders” with the “Most Honourable & Incorruptible personalities“ to manage this nation with Dignity, Honour & without Fear or Favour” from any Quarters or Backers.

They must be “Powerful, Authoritative but FAIR”, also be Humble in person in discharging their “Principled & Unbiased” allegience and duties to this nation & its rayaat.

If BN, their Leaders & ALL their Scumbag Running Dogs continue to be in “Denial” even at this 11th Hour……No worries Mate !

We give them “More Rope” to “Hang” themselves at every “Turn” with their “Lies” until they “Stumble and finally Fall Flat” on their “Mountain of Lies” (Shit) towards their “Demise” soon.

Even his mentor MM accidentally let the “cat out of the bag”….so “Devine Intervention always works Wonders”.

Najib’s cockiness is really pathetic – he is talking about the support that he expects when he is Prime Minister and President of UMNO in 2 years time..

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he needed the cooperation of all quarters to strengthen the Barisan Nasional and Umno after taking over as Prime Minister and party president in 2011. – Star Online, 26/7/2008 -Najib hopes for support of all when he takes over as premier

Hell0 – the UMNO members have yet to have their say – as to whether they even want you as the next President of UMNO.
