I heard his family is planning to lodge a police report on his disappearance. I am waiting for more clarification and if indeed he has disappeared or gone into hiding.
At 6.54pm (msian time), his nephew R Kumaresan has lodged a ‘missing person’ report at the Brickfield police station. (Malaysiakini).

By leaving Bala alone, Anwar and his group wanted to show one thing: that there is a clear consistence of manipulation in the criminal justice system by Najib, Musa Hasan and Patail who are interestingly the least professional people we have ever heard. Anwar wanted to show that they (The police-Najib-Musa-Ghani) always fabricate evidence, manipulate the system and cow people. What makes it even more inspiring is that Bala just made his 1st SD in front of the world media while laughing and saying…“Oh, if you spend one night in those joils…you will sign…” (etc). So Anwar has scored big here. Even before the evidence is produced against Najib in relation to Altantuya, by forcing Bala to retract the parts that are related to Najib and leaving the rest in tact makes it more potent. ASP Tony who has jailed Bala before and Musa Safri of Najib’s office and all other accusations were left alone but Najib’s part removed. That there is clear conspiracy and consistent manipulation has been established. The Star, a BN leaflet did a marvellous job by showing a dejected, teary-eyed and forlorn Bala crying to the Heavens unlike the earlier jovial, happy, chatty and engaging Bala the previous day. The damage has been done and I’m of the opinion that Anwar was deliberate in releasing Bala so two objectives are attained:
1. To show the dark forces who manipulate the system, cow witnesses, omit evidences, conspire to cheat and deceive.
2. To discredit the SDs so that in order for Altantuya to get justice, the judge(s) will have to examine afresh and demand to know which SD represents the truth and this is what Najib is avoiding. The matter going to court and that’s why he has refused to file defamation suit against Bala and Raja Petra despite the fact that he is obliged to do if he is innocent. In either way, the damage has been done, the manipulation already established and there can be conclusion to Altantuya’s case unless the SDs are examined by a court of law and lawyers and you know what that means and who has been doing all he can to avoid such outcome and fate.

I have witnessed a country ravaged by a civil war and one day as part of an NGO we were walking, then we came along some thugs who were part of the fighters, there were two girls and some of us. For an ex-PI to retract his words is very rare. He must be under tremendous pressure
to retract his 1st SD and most likely his and family lives are threatened. Otherwise, I cannot surmise any real reason to disappear from the scene. Can someone probably check with the immigration whether Bala and family have left the country already. I would not be surprised that their reecords have been erased from the computer!
I hate to think of the worst that could happen to Bala and family but under the circumstances, my hunch tells me so.

Assume that there is no second SD, the first one doesn’t prove anything. People can lie. Bala can vanish to Black Hole. If one says Najib was in Paris with Altantuya then go and look for the plane ticket, the hotel, tape or video. Concrete proofs are materials, not from any person’s words. If there is a picture of Najib and Altantuya then show it, and investigate whether the image is real. Bala can say anything in his SD. Even in the case of saiful; if his anal showed it has been penetrated, anybody could have done it. Proofs have to be solid and beyond reasonable doubt. Bala can lie. So are the others. Nobody can see hell fire…so why worry.

Guys, it’s obvious. For someone who took almost 2 months to prepare a SD and than to retract it within 24 hours is ridiculous. Looking at Bala’s face in second press conference, one could easily say he was under tremendous pressure to do so.
It is also very interesting to see the retraction was only related Najib’s involvement. Whether Najib or someone else who reacted on his behalf we don’t know. But if Najib and his so call coolies thought Malaysians could be fooled, than all I could say “they must be real nuts.”
The Perlis mufti should extend his call to Najib as well. Come and swear on Holy Quran that you are innocent; you did not take any commission from the purchase of Russian Sukhoi; you did not involve with Altantuya sexually and you did not instruct anyone to kill Altantuya.

I got this strange feeling that Bala and family is safe and has been whisked away to a secure location as the first M’sian pilot project under the Witness Protection Program (WPP). His picture with his new lawyer showed a man not in grave danger but of a person who is in deep thought pondering on how this WPP would work. His lawyer is sort of saying: “Dont worry bro, we have evrything arrange”.
The second SD was simply made to ease the pressure on Najib, a diversion, thus giving the good guys just about enough time to execute the logistics unnoticed. He will suddenly make an appearance at the right time to throw the case wide open. One will be wondering who these good guys are. Raja Petra told reporters later that he was questioned under Section 112 of the Criminal Procedure Code as a witness in relation to the police report that was made against him by the Attorney-General’s Chambers.
”On June 20, the A-G’s Chambers had lodged a police report against me in relation to a crime under Section 203 of the Penal Code which is for making a false declaration.
“However, the entire interrogation or statement that was taken was more in relation to who my informer is and whether I gave permission to (Internet news portal) Malaysiakini to publish the statutory declaration.
“They also wanted to know about the blog site called bigdog.com,” he said.
Raja Petra claimed that the police officers told him that they were unable to tell him anything when he asked them whether the investigations were about his statutory declaration, Malaysiakini or the bigdog.com blog.
“Everything today was in relation to who I had given the statutory declaration to. Whether I gave permission for these people (Malaysiakini) to publish the statutory declaration and whether I could reveal who my informer is,” he said.
Raja Petra claimed that when he told the police that for the safety of his informer he was unable to reveal who the person was, he was instead told that there were other police reports made against him and that the police might want to charge him in court.
“I told them that I will accept that and I am prepared and ready to be charged in court and that my informer will surface during the trial and reveal the truth,” he said, adding that the police did not mention what charges would be brought against him.

I understand some quarters of the blogging community have decided to go on strike on dis-satisfactory on the government rules and policies, ducky not wanting to be left out, decides to go on some form of strike as well. “stop paying your balance of tax” or simply delaying paying your balance of tax strike.
If after the April or June Tax deadline of tax submission, you have some balance of tax to pay, don’t bother, don’t pay them. I didn’t pay them. Are satisfied with your present government ? No ? then don’t pay the balance of taxes lah.

Fear not, from a person who practice tax, these procedures takes at a couple of years before it finally happens. Just ignore all their threats letter until they finally decide to really get real nasty on you like a court hearing date. Then you slowly slumberly go to your tax office to meet the tax officers, tell them one hell long of a story with proof of this and that why you cannot pay your RM?????? tax and ask for an installment payment.
Ok disclaimer, but if you constantly need to travel in and out of the country, then it is better to have a clean sheet, as those fuckers will tagged you up with the Immigration and Police department, then you can kiss your passport goodbye.

PEKAN: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has denied being involved in private investigator P. Balasubramaniam’s retraction of his first statutory declaration.
“I have no knowledge of anything.
“I had to make a strong denial before this as it was not an issue of seeking the truth but a political ploy to influence public perception,” he said, adding that he would not seek legal redress on the matter or hide behind an injunction.
“His retraction means he has no credibility in whatever he said earlier,” Najib said after opening the Peramu Jaya 3 Rukun Tetangga scheme here yesterday.
On Friday, Balasubramaniam made a second statutory declaration and withdrew what he had said on Thursday on Najib’s involvement with Mongolian murder victim Altantuya Shaarribuu.
Najib said the statutory declaration should not have been made in the first place and Malaysian politics had reached a stage where people were employing dirty tactics, including disregarding the country’s laws.
“Those involved are making a mockery of the country’s laws.
“They are not afraid. Maybe, there is a motive and a bad intention or perhaps, (they were) offered a carrot to initiate the move.
“I also regret that an opposition leader was involved in the matter that touched on an on-going trial.”
“The fate of three men are in the hands of the court over a very serious criminal charge,” he said, adding that the case should not be politicised.
Najib said that although the issue caused an adverse effect on his image, he had to face it somehow.
“Slander is not something new but in the age of ICT, it can spread much faster and wider.
“As such, the people must strengthen their belief and make a conclusion with the right frame of mind,” he said.

Balasubramaniam claimed today that their uncle had revealed to them months earlier all the details he had stated in his first statutory declaration (SD) which alleged that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had links with murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.
Brothers R.Kumaresan, 27, and Segar, 24, of Batu Caves said their uncle had shared with them about what he had mentioned in his first SD about six months earlier, and they believed he would one day make it public.
Kumaresan, an information technology (IT) professional said his uncle had expressed relief after he made his first statuatory declaration public on Thursday but what he did the next day by denying it had shocked the siblings.
Balasubramaniam who had made public his first SD on Thursday based on what political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda — one of the accused in the Alatantuya murder case — had told him, on Friday retracted his allegations via a second SD, claiming his first SD had been made under duress.
The brothers spoke to reporters at the Gombak district police headquarters with their lawyer R.Surendran yesterday after giving a statement to investigators over a police report he lodged on the disappearance of his uncle, aunt and three cousins on Saturday.
“He claimed he made the first SD under duress, but from the expression on his face on that day, it was clear that he was not, everyone could see that,” said Kumaresan.
“But when he retracted the SD and replaced it with another the next day, the expression on his face showed that he was really under duress. Compare his face on the first day with the second day.
“We are very close to our uncle and know him very well. There is no way he would have disappeared like this without informing us first.” he said adding that his family strongly believe Balasubramaniam and his family had not gone into hiding but are being detained at an unknown location.
Kumaresan said had his uncle planned to go into hiding or feared for his safety, he would have done so on the very first day, after making the first statuatory declaration.
“But everything was normal after he made the statement on Thursday; and then Friday he goes missing with his family.” he said.
Kumaresan said he also had no idea of who M Arulampalam, the lawyer who accompanied his uncle when he made the second SD is.
“We are worried about their safety. My aunt is a like mother-figure to me. I do not even know if they are still alive.” he said.
Segar, an engineer said his uncle had also handed him an envelope two days before he made his first SD and told him to pass it to Kumaresan.
“He told me to tell Kumarasen to open it two days later but after he made public his first SD, we opened it and found that it was a copy of the SD,” he said.
Meanwhile lawyer R.Surendran said the main concern of Kumaresan and Segar was the safety of his uncle and his family and not the statutory declarations he had made.
“I hope the police will look more into the angle that Balasubramaniam may be held against his will, as it does not seem that he has gone into

Dear Haris,did it ever cross your mind that a tape recorder to secretly tape down conversations should be an important tool for a P.I.?Why Bala didn’t carry one with him when he is on an assignment that involves VIPs

Two days ago, I saw Bernama reporting that Interpol has found Bala in the scrolling headline…funnily enough nobody (MSM, internet blogs has said anything since.)
I was looking at the 2nd statutory declaration again, specifically this statement
” I wish to refer to the statutory declaration I affirmed on July 1, 2008. I refer specifically to paragraphs 8, 25, 28, 49 and 50 to 52″
So I went back to the original declaration and hilited these clauses that he is now recanting in a different colour font in red
when you read the 1st declaration minus above clauses it doesnt make sense,there is no flow.
next i typed edit the word najib followed by search, it stopped exactly on those red fonts, meaning all the clauses that contained the word “najib” has been removed, except for this one

A statutory Declaration (SD) is a legal statement under oath and can never be recanted . You can only made once and not twice on the same subject .You can be charge for perjury if you do that. If it is recanted for percuniary gains the case will be worsen and the MACC can move in to investigate. Can any legal minds advise on that?
