Said the unexpected Samy Velu conquerer to Malaysiakini @ 4.04am:

“We went in as the underdog but his (Samy Vellu) credibility had eroded terribly among the Indian voters”. (YB Dr. Michael Jeyakumar, PSM central committee member)

Earlier @ 1.30am, I said:

Malaysiakini is missing Samy (Velu) already : MIC – a new era begins

An interview, let’s say, with Dr Michael Jeyakumar is wanting. We want to hear from the man who has defeated Samy Velu hugely in Sungai Siput.  This man, a doctor, and the central committee member of Parti Sosialis Malaysia, created history.

We want to hear about winners, not losers!

We would like to know for example, what Jeyakumar will do for Sungai Siput, now that he has been given a chance, to represent the people there. Will he only work for Indians, or for Rakyat Malaysia.

We don’t want to hear MIC apologists talking about the past. Reminising about day gone by. Hey, it’s a new era for Rakyat Malaysia, not MIC, haven’t you heard?

MIC’s chapter is closing, especially after the Hindraf debacle.  But Dr. Kumar has even criticised Hindraf, still the Indians in Sungai Siput voted for him. What is his secrets? Hiya, Malaysiakini, ask him-lah.

See. So many questions. But not for MIC. MIC sudah layu (wiltering), let them go.

Aiyooo Malaysiakini, enough of MIC-lah!

I can excuse Kini for wanting to address right away the big question many have: what is going to become of MIC? But Kini should also spend at least a week or so to provide write-ups and interviews of the new faces in parliament. It is not because these are winners in the election. It is because many Malaysians may not have a good idea yet of who these people really are and even their main issues. Getting such information out is what good responsible journalism is because it is ultimately getting the public informed about their wakil rakyats. I trust Kini will not drop the ball on this. I will be very disappointed if they were to.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA….I think everyone is pretty zonked out. Rocky has asked people to attend a protest at Istana Negara this morning to ask for Pak Lah’s resignantion. Though he isn’t PM yet he can’t really resign…

  6. wits0 says:

Jed, you know umno and bn ministers, their “no” quickly can switch to “yes” and vice versa. Whatever they utter similarly cannot be taken to be final and binding for any great period of time.

  7. jedyoong says:

so does that mean the SPR “official” results aren’t official and FINAL? ha ha ha….

  8. alex says:

    Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
If Najib becomes PM, will Rocky be Information Minister, since Zam has been given the boot?
Or will jeff ooi now be information minister?
    Which one????
Then everyday they can praise bloggers.
And bloggers will no longer be monkeys but sweeties or cuties.
    LOL.

  9. mitosblog says:

Ever since Zam lost in the election there has been no news or interview with him. Wondered where he had gone?

At least Samy says ‘Goodbye’ to the reporters. Shahrizat also got interviewed by RTM. And the most bravest is Dr Koh Tsu Koon where he answer all the questions calmly.

I would rather have badawi as prime minister than the sex maniac with his wife looking like empress dowager.Jean has better personality.

  13. Harish Mathanan says:

Good Riddance !!! Finally……… can’t believe it actually took so long though. Were the Indians under a spell? Was Samy Potter casting some magic on us? NO !!! We choose him, we stood by him and believe it or not we voted for him again and again. Stop blaming, stop complaining…….the rubbish is gone. Now’s the time to grow, as individuals and as a nation.

Goodbye Samy and take your MIC scum with you. We now have counter spells, which are called self-belief, intelligence and courage.

  14. White Angel says:

Poor Samy! He is an old man. Our great Indian leader who has fought for all of us. His hands were tied but he gave it all to the very last day as a cabinet minister. I believe he will work for the Indians even if he is not a minister. India knows him and so do all Malaysians! He is a legacy! (Please read in between lines!! LOL)

  15. pemantau says:

Such hatred, Susan. And how you have parlayed your lifelong negativity into this high profile.

  16. yemen esef says:

Samy Velu ………. semi value…………..no value. kuppa thothi

  17. toyolbuster says:

It must have been a most exhilarating experience. I would pay a million bucks to be in Dr Jeyakumar position. But I would also demand for Samy’s scalp and donate to Hindraf’s HQ for the Indians to spit on it.

  18. phyl says:

    Pak lah…pak lah
    Did a good job lah
That has produced all the losers lah
For the good of the nationlah

A BIG THANK YOU TO PAK LAH

  19. Lin Lin says:

I think Samy Vellu is trying to stay employed via the ‘back’ way now. He’s trying to be a Senator by using the back doors… With Pak Lah’s help… The guy never gives up!!!!

  20. peace in hope says:

Dr Jeya is no stranger to many under-priviledged Indians in Perak. I had heard from the many who had worked with Dr Jeya(not in politics but in medicine) that Dr Jeya had been looking out for ALL poor residents who went to him for medical help. He does not charge them fee. I had heard the same thing from some Indian workers in Ipoh many years back but I did not pay much attention to it as Dr Jeya had never been seen in Media. He apparently seeks no fame and is a humble doctor with true intentions to help the marginalised Indians to regain hope. Though we only learn of his helping the Indian, Dr Jeya is by nature one who helps any persons in need of his help. This is proven by his humble ways of giving free medical attention on his own expense for very many years before he is finally seen as the conquerer of Samy, a title he truly deserves. He had even spent many arrested days for his fight for ‘freedom’ all these years while MR TOUPEE spends money on buying new ‘hair’ for his head costing more than an annual income of a poor Malaysian citizen in the estates.
This my friends is a REAL CONQUEST. I have nothing against Samy Vellu as he has been insignificant in many of the lives of my fellow Indian-Malaysians who are literate but it sure puts Malaysia to shame having a Minister representing the Indian-society who lacks professionalism in every sense of the word.
