Koh Tsu Koon promises smooth transition – 10.25pm
Former Penang chief minister Dr Koh Tsu Koon has promised a smooth transition of power to DAP, which has taken over the state.

State DAP chief Chow Kwan Yeow said this was relayed to him by Koh who is also Gerakan acting president. Speaking at a press conference at Hotel Macalister in Georgetown, Chow said Koh told him that the wishes of the people must be respected. DAP has again appealed to its supporters to remain calm.

This Dr. Potato is real stupid. Where did he get his Phd? From the potato farm?

Kan nineh, where got a doctor using rice to exchange for cheap potato? No wonder this Dr. potato got kick out by the Batu Kawan voters.

Actually, Dr Hoseh, Ah Koon was a brilliant star student in school, and got a Colombo Plan scholarship for his exceptional result IIRC, despite coming from a very well heeled (ho-seh)family background. He got his degree in Physics at Princeton University and his PhD from the University of Chicago.

He didn’t exhibit really a great degree of leadership but he was popular with his classmates from Chung Ling School who were seconded to the MBS for the sixth forms. However he even then was also a two faced person behind the pleasant exterior. I was one of his classmate in MBS.

BN lapdog parties love to parade their highly (over and irrelevantly)qualified candidates and leaders to make the less discerning ppl go “gaa-gaah!” But such paper gualifications always come to a big NAUGHT because they are simply moral morons of the most common genre.

Ah, so refreshing to hear the term, “Kan nineh”! It’s been a long time since I left Penang. I believe it’s the the counterpart as Patrick Teoh’s “NIAMAH!!!” ROTFLOL!
