Altantuya’s trial is postponed AGAIN! On the 94th day of the trial, Judge Zaki Mohd Yakin shifts the hearing to March 17, for no apparent or justifiable reason. Altantuya’s justice delayed will be further delayed and denied till after the 12 General Elections.
The question that comes to everyone’s mind is: who ordered the postponement? After the infamous LINGAM GATE controvery, anything is possible in the judiciary of Malaysia, truly Asia.
Did Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak order the postponement? The question is not far fetch and should be asked by anyone (not supporting former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad and not wanting Najib to be next PM). He is after all the highest stakeholder with the 3 accused in Altantuya’s murder trial directly (not indirectly) linked to him. The trial will definitely give him bad press in the Opposition circle, who are simply too happy to use every detail of it to their maximum benefit during this hotly contested elections. Can we blame them?
After accused Abdul Razak Baginda’s emotional outburst in court on Day 90, it is obvious that there are high-level conspiracy going on and the former is not willing to bear it any longer. It is a pity that all we got was news from the government mouth piece “Bernama”.
Then it was confirmed that 338 bone fragments found at the explosion site belonged to Altantuya and that she was blown up “alive and naked”, suggesting there could be a rape as well. Such bad publicity and the ghost of Altantuya will definitely haunt Najib during the elections.
I am not the only one who thinks like this. We must thank the mysterious multidimid for always keeping the issue of Altantuya alive. In his/her blog present powerpoint, it is said:
“If it had run its normal course, the verdict would have been out by now and either way, the opposition parties would have exploited it to the hilt to gain whatever political mileage and possibly it could severely affect the election outcome. Now who ordered this extraordinary and unusual postponement?”
Well perhaps the judge and prosecutors will be out campaigning for their favourite election candidates, hence the postonement of the trial till after elections? Perhaps, reporters would be too busy to cover the trials, since they have to work full time as UMNO/BN’s propaganda machine?
But Altantuya has been murdered for almost 2 years already. Answers are wanting. Questions about but the most important one is: who ordered the postponement of Altantuya’s trials?
