I think Elizabeth Wong is the first woman blogger to stand for elections. I am very excited.

She’s not only a well-known human rights activist but free media advocate and of course, brilliant blogger.

Eli, as she is popularly known, is not only young but dynamic and has ‘interesting’ ideas.

If you want to know what ‘interesting’ is, throw in your support for her. Make her win the Bukit Lanjan state seat under Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR). You’ll soon know what I mean by ‘interesting’.

All the best Eli. Hidup Woman Blogger Malaysia!

“All the best Eli. Hidup Woman Blogger Malaysia!”-Susa (AGAIN)

Haiya Susan, men also support women lah. You should rephrase :-

“All the best Eli. Hidup All Blogger Malaysia!” (omission of Woman, but not all). I am not a sexist, I hope u ain’t too. Hehehehhee. 🙂

I think you have read this. Someone sued Raja Petra, donations, let me know…

    Hi Elizabeth Wong,

    … Be Cool….think positive….A possible Solution …

Please help & assist your friends in DAP, PKR, PAS, etc to rectify ..

…’The sudden ruling could be pretext to disqualify our candidates,’
… ‘I see this as a gimmick to make things difficult for opposition candidates,’

    > Stamping office & Post Office closed on Saturday & Sunday .

    >>Maybe notices placed outside Post office ” Hasil Stamps Habis di jual”.

    >No more stocks of “Stamp Duty.”?

    >> ” How to comply for nomination paper “?

    > How much stamp duty? … Is it RM10= only ?

    >>> Please borrow Hasil Stamp from Lawyers, Property Auctioneers, etc

    >>> “More legal tactics” be used to disqualify on ‘technicality ‘ on 24-2-2008 ?

    >Anyway ,please seek help of lawyers who specialised in ’stamping’ for help.

    >Some lawyers appointed by Law as “nominees” for stamping works purpoes.

    >> Please borrow ‘ Hasil Stamp ‘ from Lawyers & property Auctioneers,

    >. Borrow today ,tonite…

Many ‘Commissioner for Oaths’ were shocked …..

I did warned earlier in my posting in January 2008 comments. Or forgotten ?

    >The past “Illegally constituted ” BN Govt since 1984, the Ruling BN Govt better think twice.

    A confusing Legal ” Paradox ” eh ?

Sorry if this comes as an intrusion but there is an effort to get as many bloggers as possible to blog about bloggers whom are running for public offices on one particular day. One blogger candidate per day.

    Below is the list:

    1. Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (Friday, February 29)
    2. Tony Pua (Saturday, March 1)
    3. Elizabeth Wong (Sunday, March 2)
    4. Jeff Ooi (Monday, March 3)

    Congratulations Eli.
You show those BN guys we mean buisness. This time around the people are going for BA. They have got guts to put these BN crooks out of buisness once and for all. Its disgusting to ask ‘bakal calun’s’ to pay stamp duty. Stamp Duty for what. This is no buisness transaction. Isn’t it just a gesture to stand for the peoples right. Its too much. Get them and string em high. Best of luck coz you need it badly.

    Hi Susan,
thanks for the free advert 🙂 I’d been too busy to even blog about this, much less eat, sleep etc. what with new ‘rules’ of the Elections Commission (it appears that everyday there’s a new one), getting the paperwork done (Lat made me fill up 10 forms – just in case), meeting residents and volunteers etc. etc.

I shall try to blog more as the days go by.

    Dear friends,
Thank you for your well wishes. I shall indeed put up a good fight, battling the incumbent Datin Paduka 🙂 (I heard my initial opponent takut, packed up and went to fight a young DAP-er…hahaha!)

    cheers all!

  10. sofiairdina says:

Proud of you Eli… and good luck, girl. If I am your opponent, I would pack up too, run to daddy and ORDER HIM to give me a a safe sit like rembau.

I am going to go back to my hometown to vote. I dont have any idea who is the opposition fella but who cares… as long as he is the opposition. See, after knowing the real PL for the last 4 years, the opposition candidate dont even have to tell me his name to get my vote!

Sue, why are you not in the list?

  11. Bob K says:

Don’t forget Ginie. She’s running in Machap 🙂

  12. ktemoc says:

Eli always has my support, but like my matey wits0, I think she’s in the wrong party, but nonetheless let’s back her all the way.

Oh … I rather think of her as a caring human rights activist rather than a blogger.

  13. jughead says:

I am a he man and not a she woman. I think she should stand for a parliamentary seat in order to fight for the rights of women that are being insulted by BN by FPK. Opposition women MPs needs more support.

  14. martha says:

I wish you all the best and pray you come out victorious

  15. fongfengmode says:

An exellent post on a good blog, you can make some money with your blog, like me at http://blogmakemoney1.blogspot.com“

  16. justman says:

Alamak, now you are a contesting candidate seeking representing the rakyat for your constituency, please lah button up your shirt properly!

The voters want a properly dressed girl to be their representative, not some hp6 pakbo from the pasar malam!

  17. wits0 says:

Justman, let’s see some ‘justice’ in your statement. Everyone who’s been accustomed to the Net knows that Eli’s picture put up by Susan is not one especially meant for election purpose but one that has been embedded in her blog for some time. It’s not impressive to inject that proclivity for Malusian sexus nexus derangement here….that gets rather boring.

  18. bamboo river says:

Another hp6 sexist remark again huh?
    Whatlahhhhh. justman?

  19. alex says:

I didnt even noticed an “unbuttoned shirt” on that photo and I am a “hot-blooded man”. Perhaps only sex maniacs like justman do. No wonder the BN keeps winning all elections – coz they have voters who can’t think beyond their dildos!

  20. matterofchoice2008 says:

Time to vote for Jeff Ooi and the Opposition. Exercise your right now!!

    TAK NAK TO ………….

We need the check and balance for good governance.
Please do your part. Please call upon all friends and relatives to vote for the Opposition.
We need to send the right candidates to parliment to voice up for us.
Penang and Jelutong voters, we need more supports to reject BN parasites going into the Parliment.
