He meant “fight” as in elections and not a “fist fight”. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh….
Now I wonder why Opposition leader Lim Kit Siang would “stoop” so low as to make an everest out of this ant hill. Even blogger Elizabeth Wong was quite incensed with it – WTF: Male MP wants to be up female MP.
Lim had accused Sothinathan (pixs) of issuing the challenge to Fong Po Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah) on Monday, when he couldn’t issue proper answers, while winding-up points related to his ministry on the Supply Bill 2008.
He couldn’t explain why MIC has become a ‘slave’ to Umno, when DAP MPs grilled about this. We want to know, too, Sothi, though I can imagine why, MIC is a slave to Umno.
When Sothi challenge Fong to a “fight” outside Parliament, naturally, the whole jingbeng of DAP MPs demanded an apology and described the incident as being “most disgraceful in setting a new Malaysian parliamentary record of a male MP challenging a female MP to a physical fight”.
Hahaha! Though the fight didn’t actually take place, I think Sothi has been “slapped, kicked and punched” in more ways than one.
