I wish my Hindu friends and readers a meaningful Deepavali. Despite the various calamities against the Indian/ Hindu population in this country, I believe in the “festival of lights”. I believe that good will eventually triumph over evil.

As for my Muslim readers and friends, I am sorry for not being around to wish you a very happy Eid. You were never far away from my thoughts. Salam.

Any symbolism of physical Light is only a coarse representation of the inner Spiritual Light which is something to be self-realized and self-attained. For this, a crowd can even become another great impediment.
