Dedicated to WordPress bloggers in Turkey, especially to Erkan, who once upon a time, help me translate a news item from Turkish to English. I do not know Erkan personally but he helped me anyway. Read his blog here, and some of his ideas on the recent ban on blogs. Hope you get your WordPress back! Meantime, I could only ask my readers to enjoy your fabulous belly dancing:

I’d like to apologise, though, that I couldn’t insert a Turkish song for this slide. Do not know how to do it. If someone could show me the ways, I’ll be glad to change the music…

Meanwhile, I love this belly dancing!

I am looking and looking…but I still think Susan is more beautiful. Take off the make up…this Turkish delight may look entirely different …and Susan does not put make up…a natural mystical beauty.
Each time I meet her….I just can’t help looking at her face….not Chinese…not Malay…not Thai…not Indian…not Iban…not Indon. What is she? That’s the beauty of Susan….she is not all that…yet is all that to me…real campor campor look……hahahahahahaha

Yeah! Turkey is a wonderful Muslim country with 99% Muslims and still serve bacon and egg in the Istanbul Hilton. It is more liberal and secular than the land of Islam Hadhari.

I find more mini-skirts than tudong there. Belly dancing and casinos will make our Perak Imam faint! Maybe he will watch first and comment that it is haram and bad for the morals of the holy-than-thou UMNOputras.

It appears that while bacon and egg in the Istanbul Hilton is better than Bodohland’s overall narrowmindedness, Turkey still has bad reputation elsewhere, such as its know human rights abuse in their prisons and other rooted meanness. Not the least, the refussal to come in terms with its own history about the Armenian Massacre. The spirit of Denial is very much alive there.

Can’t remember the brand of the local drink but my mate Fatih told me that it contains 45% alcohol… Nice though!
