Come visit Malaysia, but foreigners stay clear of the law…

January 7, 2007

It’s Visit Malaysia Year 2007, but what do we still have:
1. Ministers still going for holidays overseas – if we were to put together all their expenditure for holidays overseas, it might surpass the amount Malaysia make out of tourism every year!
2. Our toilets are still filthy and wet. Worse still, now we have to pay [...]

January 5, 2007

(Shah Alam, 5 January, 2.45pm) The judge K.N Segara who presided over the court case of Altantuya Sharibuu’s murder at the Shah Alam court today was “impressive” to say the least.
First of all, he allowed no one to stand in court except the police. Everyone must be seated. Others were told to leave. This [...]

Dear Mr. Shariibuu,

You had a heart attack several weeks ago, just before the highly controversial court case of your deceased daughter, Altantuya’s alleged murderers on December 14 in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
I am so sorry to hear about your condition. I know this must be the most difficult time [...]

Who Paid A Mongolian Newspaper to Defame Altantuya?

December 18, 2006

Which newspaper paid Mongolian-based, Zindaa daily to write negative stuff about Altantuya?
Was the newspaper ever paid at all?
This is still a million dollar question among Malaysians.
Since I blogged the story here, I received several mails asking me who was it?
Many jumped to the conclusion it was The STAR, since STAR sent Eddie Chua, came back [...]

“Be careful”

December 18, 2006

Since I started blogging on Altantuya Shariibuu’s, I’ve received several comments, all but with one message: “Be Careful”.
A veteran journalist friend from a mainstream newspaper shot me an email, saying very briefly “Can we go slow on the Mongolian juice?”.
Other send words of caution: “Take care, you may be cited for sub-judice”.
The one closest to my heart was even [...]

Mongolian-X-File Murder Series: What you see may NOT be what it is

December 16, 2006

Okay, time for questions.
I have been thinking a lot about what transpired in the recent court case of Abdul Razak Baginda, and the 2 policemen, who were charged for murdering a Mongolian woman and blowing up her remains with explosives.
There are several issues which strike me about the recent Dec 14 case, but after reading all [...]
