It has been exactly a year and 2 months since I returned to work with the Selangor state government after taking leave last year. It was the hardest decision I had to make then, and it has not become

It comes as no surprise that Barisan Nasional continues to subject me to political violence by assaulting and violating my personal life, by continuously victimizing victims.
While Bayan Baru and his team were wallowing in gutter politics yesterday, I was proposing in the Selangor State Exco meeting to address a critical national issue, of outstanding students, regardless creed and ethnicity, needing our help to further their education.
This is why I returned to office, to show Pakatan Rakyat policies and politics are for a better Malaysia.

They have since cut it down to RM 75 per plate. m’siakini should probe why Wee really defected from PR. Earlier when the news portal reported that he was on the verge of defecting he denied it. As subsequent events proved, it turned out to be true. What does he have to say about that? Even defecting did not save Wee’s pension. He has still been denied it.
Perhaps, he regrets defecting by now since no pension. So, he has to look elsewhere. Sell his vote in Parliament for RM 50 million should BN want to amend the new electoral rolls to neutralise the opposition? Or send some people a bill everytime he says something against their rivals. He can start off by sending m’sia airlines a bill for criticising Air Asia.

Officials at the company, Nucleix, based in Tel Aviv, say they were able to successfully “create” fake DNA by taking a blood sample from one woman, removing the white blood cells that contain her DNA and replacing them with cells containing a man’s DNA, collected from his hair.
The implications, according to those at Nucleix, are enormous and frightening: imagine an unscrupulous lab technician who could implicate an innocent person in a crime; or a bad cop who could plant DNA evidence to convict a suspect.
This new development is and should be worrisome to anyone who cares about fairness in the American judicial system. Jurors rarely question the validity of DNA evidence introduced at trial.

Human DNA is routinely replicated Millions XX, it just requires money and resources.
Its often done for a very good reason, for example, the amount of intact DNA recoverable from badly burnt remains, or highly decomposed John Doe may be extremely small, so they need to make Millions of duplicates before proper tests can be carried out.
Thats why DNA evidence has to be supported by context and other supporting evidence.
Now, with a properly functioning Police and Judiciary of the highest integrity, it is very difficult to fake DNA evidence, because first the Police themselves, then the courts will reject any DNA “sample” which has questionable origins, or where there has been a break in the chain of custody from the crime scene until the final test results.
That is certainly not the case in Malaysia…
Thats part of the reason no other country in the world, except Malaysia, has dared to mandate DNA evidence as legally definitive.
It is a very useful tool, but if it just stands on its own, or faces other evidence which actually contradicts what is claimed from the DNA test, most courts would say it is unsafe to convict a person based on it.

The DNA evidence system in the UK, for example, is highly dependent on the Integrity of the Police investigation system to prevent either a Crooked sample , or erroneous or contaminated sample from being wrongly used as court evidence.
The Official custodian of the DNA data bank is a high ranking Police officer.
Most British people I know have a high respect for the integrity of their Police force. Its basically taken as a fact, thats it. Same with our neighbour, Singapore.
In Malaysia, especially in the case of Anwar Ibrahim, I’m afraid its very likely the Police themselves are the Crook.
