(1) Who do you think will be MCA president? OTK, OKT or CSL? Or, rather who would you like to see as president and why?
(2) Will it be a candidate that MCA members choose or will it be one that UMNO wants?
(3) Does UMNO have any influence in the MCA circus?
(4) What kind of qualities must a MCA president have?
Well, I spoke to 3 political observers and this is what they say: ‘UMNO’s waning influence over MCA’

‘UMNO’s waning influence over MCA’
Still sitting ducks:
“It is an existential crisis and radical measures are needed, and these cannot consider Umno’s consent or lack of it at this stage,” said Ooi, who has done extensive research on Chinese politics.
“The days of racial contestations through parties are passing in the sense that those parties will remain defensive. They cannot hope to represent the future image of Malaysia. That future belongs to parties who manage to project themselves as progressive, cosmopolitan, and pluralistic.”

Normally, i no speaking abt. ‘unmentionables’, but Susan make this too appetizing..
Me answers to above questions are:
1. None of the above. Winner by default is Chew Mee-’Noodle’, certainly not Betty.
2. Neither, 4 No. Ekor to choose.
3. “Influence is contingent on future contracts procurable.” Understand or not, who cares..
4(a). Must not be allergic to viagra. Must perform well with viagra. Must remain firm with viagra. Must be able to show side-effects of viagra. Must allow vcd footage of viagra’ed abilities.
4(b). Must be willing to hide RM20 mil. Must be able to pronounce ‘PKFZ’ in 0.5 sec flat. Must like flying in other people’s jets without paying. Must be able to fight until all liow.
4(c). Must look ‘Perplexed’ all the time. Must have conviction that Chinese in Malaysia must mean only Chinese School. Must be able to lose grip on reality easily. Must be willing to subject self to unanaesthesized circumcision by blunt keris.
Pass or not? Can i have my spm cert now? Aiya, fail ah…

Umno may have waning influence over the MCA but the MCA, on its part, can only atone for its extensive wickedness by perishing, all the same.
March 24th, 2010 at 7:09 am
If Dr Chua Soi Lek did not mention about it, not many would know that MCA owns more than RM2 billion of assets. No wonder the fresh polls is so bustling.
According to the analyses, Ong Ka Ting and Dr Chua Soi Lek are evenly matched. If Ong Tee Keat gains only 20% of support, then Ong Ka Ting and Dr Chua Soi Lek may get 40% of support each. However, there are always swing voters who vote based on their own judgements or conscience.
In the 10 Oct Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) last year, both Ong Tee Keat and Dr Chua Soi Lek were voted out together and the results were actually affected by merely 1% of votes. At that time, many people tried to guess who was the third force, was it a veteran camp or an outside force?

Pointless to ask as MCA is so damn “irrelevant”, they no longer make sense to be maintain currently.
OTK, OKT, CSL, & their gang have “ALWAYS” been & “WILL BE” yes men to their masters.
Tell me………… , have they ever, ever go against their masters?????????
Would they even “dare” to???????????

Why do you think Ong Ka Ting is participating in the race for presidency again? The reason is very simple, he wants to be conferred an “upside down NUT”! He was only given a Tan Sri when he last retired while Ling Liong Sik was made a TUN. So, he is getting himself elected again and this time around, when he retires, he will demand to be an UPSIDE DOWN NUT!

The discord between Hishammuddin and IGP Musa Hassan has become increasingly visible following Hishammuddin’s denial that the ministry had rejected the Petaling Jaya City Council’s (MBPJ) application to establish a 50-personnel strong auxiliary police unit.
Hishammuddin today said the home ministry had never rejected any application from any organisations which aims to assist the police fight crime in the country.

“It is not the Speaker’s prerogative to determine whether a seat has fallen vacant. Rather, when a letter of resignation is handed in to him, the seat automatically falls vacant.
Yazid should conduct himself as Speaker of the Assembly and not as a BN official trying to safeguard the interests of the ruling coalition. The Speaker should not be sitting on the letter of resignation to allow time for top MCA/BN party functionaries to persuade Yip to retract his letter.

A police report has been lodged against Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan for providing false testimony about his educational qualifications during Anwar Ibrahim’s corruption trial in 1998.
March 24th, 2010 at 4:39 pm
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Musa Hassan has urged MCA delegates to avoid provocation as it can lead to tension and quarrels.
He said all quarters involved in the party elections should follow the rules and procedures so that the elections on Sunday could proceed without untoward incidents.

According to the police report lodged by Anwar’s lawyer R Sivarasa, Musa, the investigating officer in the case, told the court that he had a law degree.
However, Musa had told another court in 2009 that he in fact held a “diploma in law and management studies”.
He revealed the information during the corruption trial of former Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Ramli Yusuff.
“The IGP has given a false statement by stating that he holds a law degree during the cross-examination of Anwar’s case, but in reality he only has a diploma in law,” said Sivarasa when contacted.

The booing and jeering would begin as soon as OTK stepped into Dewan San Choon in Wisma MCA. And the rabble-rousers would continue to stir trouble the moment OTK delivers his presidential address in a calculated move to embarrass him in front of the PM.

Since last week the Malaysian Parliament has been ‘hot’. Many ‘newly-independent’ Members of Parliament have taken centre stage to whack their opponents on the ‘other side’. The fact that they are supposed to be ‘independents’ and yet they whack the opposition means they consider the opposition as the ‘other side’. How would this then make them independents? Zulkifli Noordin, in fact, defended Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, which gives an impression that he is now ‘Najib’s man’.

Who cares who will be MCA President.
March 24th, 2010 at 7:45 pm
July 26 – DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang weighed in on the rumblings from an impending tussle for the MCA, saying that Malaysians cannot be bothered.
This comes a day after Ong Tee Keat remarked that there were external parties trying to subvert MCA and oust him as president, giving the impression that he was under siege.
“I regret that Ong continues to imply I am one of the external forces which put him under siege.
“Let me reiterate that I have no interest whatsoever in MCA politics and I am not in the least bothered whether there is a ‘topple Ong’ campaign in MCA or not. Whether Ong or his deputy Chua Soi Lek becomes president is utterly inconsequential to Malaysians who do not see any difference between the two.”

Zul may not realise it but he has just opened a Pandora’s Box. By revealing that there are certain parties who tried to get him to fabricate evidence, and certain parties who pressured him and interfered in his job as a lawyer for someone accused of murder, he has admitted that he is aware of and has knowledge of a crime having been committed. The police will have to get him to fill in the blanks or else these criminals will go unpunished.
Good luck to Zul. He may have just put his head in the noose. If the police do nothing then this would mean Zul is lying. But to so something the police will have to go for Zul.

Hadi ‘derailed’ Anwar’s Sept 16 plan
“When Anwar presented the 30 MPs from Sabah and Sarawak, Hadi realised that the number of non-Malays outnumbered that of the Malays,” he said.
Hadi, he added, was not satisfied with just Muslim MPs, but wanted Malay-Muslim representatives.
In view of this, Tulang Besi said the PAS leader disagreed with Anwar’s proposal to form a Pakatan Rakyat government without a Malay-Muslim majority.
http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/fmt-english/politics/pakatan-rakyat/3754-hadi-derailed-anwars-sept-16-plan
March 25th, 2010 at 8:00 am
Political observers pointed out that this revelation would further erode PAS’ popularity among the non-Malays while Hadi would be seen as being no different than Umno leaders, who play the race card.
It would also lend a devastating blow to the ‘PAS for all’ slogan, they added.

If the IGP has perjured (lied under oath in court), he should be immediately suspended until investigations are completed.
It might even be safer to place him under house arrest until the AG decides on “no further action”.

Whatever he says Zul Nordin may have abused solicitor-client privelege and Bar Council should take action:
“I don’t know anything,” Hazman Ahmad who is acting for Najib’s former bodyguard told The Malaysian Insider when asked if he was aware of the latest claims by his predecessor, lawyer and Kulim-Bandar Baharu MP, Zulkifli Noordin, on the murder case.
Hazman, who is currently in Singapore, said he took over from Zulkifli in acting for Azilah in the highly-sensational murder mid-way and was not privy to the earlier talks.
He declined further comment, saying any deals and discussions involving Zulkifli “is between him and the other person.”

A police report has been lodged at the Jalan Patani police station, Penang by PKR Youth chief Ahmad Azrial Tahir, accompanied by youth members Syed Mikael and Marian Shafiee urging the police to investigate a recent statement implying that independent MP Zahrain Hashim may have been paid to quit PKR.
Ahmad Azriral based his report on a statement by BN Kalabakan MP Ghafur Salleh who said that the offer for Zahrain must have been huge as he had quit his party.
Ahmad Azriral further quoted “Police must investigate this statement because it implies that Zahrain had been bribed to quit PKR”.

The affected voters and the political parties on whose ticket the turncoats were elected as their representatives in Parliament and in the Perak Legislative Assembly now have a cause of action to sue them.
It has to be a specially indorsed writ with a statement of claim. It should be a claim for a declaration for such remedy as the equity of the case demands.
There could even be a claim for an injunction to restrain the turncoats from falsely holding out that they represent those who had voted for them as an independent MPs or assembly persons.
-NH Chan
March 26th, 2010 at 3:09 pm
Since their claim as independent members of Parliament or assembly persons were false because they were, in actual fact, elected by those who voted for PR at the last general Federal and State elections, there could now be a claim against them for damages and for unjust enrichment.
In other words, as trustees they are not entitled to any secret profit or financial benefit they might have received; they must hand over their ill-gotten gains – say if they have been rewarded for crossing over – to the actual beneficiary, namely, the political party on whose ticket they got elected.
It is also useful to claim for an account and a tracing order – in case they have converted the reward money into other assets or into different bank accounts, even overseas accounts. If they have bought land or chattels in another person’s name with the ill-gotten money there is a resulting trust of the assets to the actual beneficiary which is the political party on whose ticket they got elected.

SHAME that so many serious incidents happens under or during police custody
“And there is another far more insidious aspect of the ISA — torture. As a legal practitioner, I have come across many allegations of torture. And there is a trend. They get beaten up. And now these allegations are no more allegations per se.”

Not exactly Hobson`s Choice, but very close:
A Hobson’s choice is a free choice in which only one option is offered. As a person may refuse to take that option the choice is therefore between taking the option or not; “take it or leave it”. The phrase is said to originate from Thomas Hobson (1544–1631), a livery stable owner at Cambridge, England. To rotate the use of his horses he offered customers the choice of either taking the horse in the stall nearest the door or taking none at all.
He had an extensive stable of some 40 horses and therefore there appeared to be a wide choice when in fact there was simply the choice described above.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST) has hit a dead-end over the controversial Article 121 (1A) involving conversions.
MCCBCHST chairman Thomas Philip said: “We have made many requests and sent appeals to the federal government to give us clear-cut guidelines regarding Muslim and non-Muslim marriages and conversions. But always, there’s no response.”

In a bizarre assault on Dr Chua, a group of women activists clad in green cardboard top hats and black suits, donned masks emblazoned with the words: ‘No adulterous leader’ protested at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, was reported by Malaysiakini.
The women who declared themselves members of the No Adulterous President (NAP) group put up posters with reading: ‘If we get an adulterous leader, we lose dignity’ and ‘We want clean leaders’.
Sunday’s MCA polls seems to be getting exciting with the Chinese community wanting a ‘clean and reliable’ leader to move them forward. Who could that be?, Surely NOT Dr Chua or Ka Ting!!!

Does Zul want me to do this? Over to you Zul! The ball is now at your feet. Just say the word and consider it done.
Hell, if swearing on the Quran is good enough then we do not need lawyers or prisons. There would be no one in jail. Aiyah, Lawyer Zul, what are you talking about lah?

Asked today if he would patch things up when he takes over, Ahmad Ismail demanded that an apology be tendered first.
“The Gerakan state leadership need not say sorry to me. But it must apologise to the whole division,” said the Umno leader.

March 30th, 2010 at 11:43 pm
Honestly guys, our foreign policy is zilch vis-a-vis to the Palestinian conundrum. Why do we have such a ridiculous anti-Israeli stand? Emotionialism ah? I have no love for Zionists, but if 99% of the world have diplomatic relations with them including Indonesia (the largest Muslim nation), Turkey and the neighboring Ayrab nations – why are we so instrangent? After all Malaise used to speak on behalf of the Muslim countries as chairman of OIC.
Are we trying to outdo Ahmadinejad and other ragheads?
With sound diplomatic engagement, Malaise can at least bring whatever miniscule pressure to bear on the Israelis, not that it’s gonna make any difference. Right now, it seems that Losmah is running to Mme Mubarak everytime our citizens are caught in Gaza. Malusia – yeah right.

This antiSemitic barouhaha is insane.
As Octo used to say: “I’ve nothing against Jews (esp. that criminal Abramahoff), but i hate Israel.” Now, anyone can tell you some Jews don’t agree with Zionism, but ‘Israel’ is their cultural identity. The physical entity that is the state is their reality – nothing can change that. Pretending it doesn’t exist ot ‘hating it, doen’t make it less ‘Real’.
As for 1Israel, certainly it does sound like 1Malaise – Jibbo may want to emulate Ehud Barak, a war hero.

Watch how Susan Li of Bloomberg News rattles Najib Razak with her direct and hard hitting questions in this short video interview during the Credit Suisse Asian Investment Conference of 2010 in Hong Kong last week on March 23.
Susan ask Najib what is his story here in Hong Kong when some says that Malaysia is a “foregone economy” and Malaysia stock market is one of the worst performer across Asia Pacific and she brought comparison against Indonesia being one of the best performer in the World. (Indonesia stock market was the 3rd best performer in the World in 2009).
Susan question the Church burning incident in Malaysia and the ethnicity trouble facing Malaysia.
See how uncomfortable Najib gets in the interview and how he evaded the question on Bumiputra policies.
Have fun watching it. Enjoy

NEM: Kudos to Pakatan for a job well done
Yes, the title is not a mistake. The New Economy Model just announced by Najib is in effect an endorsement by Barisan Nasional of Pakatan Rakyat’s policies concluded a while ago.
By Guan Sin
Take a look at the following two documents:
* Policies of Pakatan Rakyat (Look at Section 2 – Economy)
* New Economy Model Part I (also Najib’s speech in announcing it)
Of course you will immediately spot the latter having a glossy and colourful cover and nicely done up formatting with tables and charts, which are all missing from the former. Mind you, as far as I know the Pakatan document was produced through collaboration of a group of highly educated and respected volunteers, whereas the latter has the hand of APCO, the Zionist consulting firm which costs Malaysia RM20 million.
Let’s get to the specifics why the two documents are essentially the same.

NEMP? New Economic Model and Policy. Namby, Namby, Neti, Nyet..
While our very own Jibbo Berak (named after the Israeli war hero Ehud Barak) is fantasizing of more than doubling the GDP(PPP) in 10yrs, one wonders whether this “hi-income” dream is another useless slogan – aka nightmare.Impossible! Brain drain and zero entrepeurnal skills, FDI or even local reinvestment.
Certainly if Be-End wins the GE-13, the bumnoputs will continue to be ‘hi-incum’, while the rest of the denizens (not citizens according to Jabba & ilk) remain mired in incresing poverty.

Muhyiddin told a press conference in the Parliament lobby this afternoon that “Lim Kit Siang doesn’t understand the meaning of the Federation of Malaysia is all about”. “How can I say I’m Malaysian first and Malay second? All the Malays will shun me… and it’s not proper”.

The forgotten La Salle Brothers
“In all the talk about becoming a high-income country and belonging to the league of developed nations, Malaysians should realize that they are still painfully lacking in the attributes and values that make a nation truly developed. These missing attributes and values are not only the high ethical and moral norms that we incessantly talk about but seldom seem to practice, but also the common decencies of compassion and gratitude to those that are loyal or have sacrificed for us.
Absence of these common decencies is especially prevalent among various government agencies where unless the spotlight of public scrutiny is on them, the agencies basically give the bureaucratic run-around or even worse, play games based on a hidden agenda (including racial and religious) on those that have the misfortune to deal with them….. ”

Hacking away at the tallest trees in the forest will not make the woods any smaller. This may sound glib but power emanates in the last analysis from society at large; the forest has to be won over and this is something that the federal government has not been able to do in any convincing, systematic way.
BN allies have been astoundingly clueless as to how they are to regain their former status. This comes from decades of diffidence vis-a-vis Big Brother Umno (the United Malays National Organisation), and any initiative the Malaysian Chinese Association, Gerakan or the Malaysian Indian Congress wish to take has to be cleared by a weakened Umno, led by a disoriented Prime Minister.

“I think what he was saying reflects the provision in the constitution, the provision in the constitution is based on which ethnic group you belong to,” the prime minister said.
“He also said he is committed to 1 Malaysia, so I don’t see that as a contradiction. Being a Malay doesn’t mean you are against 1 Malaysia, similarly if you are a Malaysian Chinese, doesn’t mean you don’t think like a Malaysian or subscribe to 1 Malaysia,” he added.

YES YES & YES “1Malaysia” is a farce which Najib admits:
Najib Abdul Razak has launched the 1Malaysia Government Transformation Programme (GTP) Roadmap with big fanfare. In fact, he spent RM2.7 million just launching this Roadmap, which you can download here (286 pages).
Inside this roadmap, the concept of 1Malaysia is actually defined very clearly. In fact, it’s repeated twice on page 11 and page 69 of the document (English version), or page 16 and page 76 of the Bahasa Malaysia version.
The goal of 1Malaysia is to make Malaysia more vibrant, more productive and more competitive – and ultimately a greater nation: a nation where, it is hoped, every Malaysian perceives himself or herself as Malaysian first, and by race, religion, geographical region or socio-economic background second…

My answer:
1. Who cares! We are living on this earth, you are human (i think) – your ‘Grace’ is about the same as mine. So you keep Laws that you cannot fulfil, i’d rather stick to the simple fact that i exist in that Grace. Religion should be kept out of politics. You may call yourself an idiot for all i care – but doesn’t change my reality.
2. Well, that happened to me. I told him/her first he/she is my child; secondly i said he/she’s MALAYSIAN; thirdly that their home is where their parents remain; fourthly, that they can do whatever they deem is right when their parents have passed on. Simple?
Sometimes people tend to be think themselves smart for posing questions that seem to confuse – pure obscuration and drivel.

The third April Fools’ Day hoax is the report that the Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin, declared he is Malay first and Malaysian second. It is believed that this is the first move in many to open the way for Muhyiddin to challenge Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak for the Presidency of Umno.
As part of this campaign, Muhyiddin’s supporters are currently going round the country and are telling the Umno grassroots that Najib is not real Malay but is in fact Bugis. Najib’s supporters are retaliating by saying that Muhyiddin is also not Malay but Javanese. This would make Ibrahim Ali the only true Malay and therefore the most likely candidate for the next Prime Minister of Malaysia.

More Malaysians placed their trust in Najib (31 per cent) than in Umno (22 per cent). Of all the major races, Indians placed the highest trust in Najib (51 per cent) compared with Umno (13 per cent) while the Chinese believed in the PM (46 per cent) rather than the ruling party (6 per cent).

Malaysians in general have a very skewed idea of “trust”, i think a better word to use is ‘faith’ – things believed that has no physical basis. One of the reasons why most Malaysian Indians “trust” so much unrealized expectations, is their ‘hope’ which is intimately linked to faith in karma and the karuna of man(pali for compassiosn).
The Chinese otoh demand proof of such compassion – and thus they are cynical. Washing and sewing machines won’t do anything for them.

Assuming if Najib truly believes in what he is preaching (and that’s a big IF) and that he has the balls to demand its implementation, there are some real obstacles in taking that path. First we have that most opportunistic, racist ba*tard by the name of Ibrahim Ali and his fellow low life in Perkasa who represent the ideal amalgamation of the worst qualities in Malaysian politics coupled with a deeply rooted inferiority complex. Cheering them on are the biggest dangers to national and inter-ethnic unity – Dr Mahathir and DPM Muhyiddin Yassin.

Then, the next day, we see Anwar smiling and waving at the crowd as he arrives at court for his trial.

Karpal also rebuked Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s “Malay first” stance, describing it as sowing the seeds of destruction of Najib’s 1Malaysia concept.
He said Muhyiddin’s stance would open up a can of worms as it would influence the natives to address themselves by ethnic backgrounds rather than nationality.
“It will divide the country along ethnic lines rather than unite the people under a single Malaysian identity,” he said.
He also chided Minister in Prime Minister Department Nazri Abdul Aziz for attempting to justify Muhyiddin’s stand, saying it was “an unsuccessful damage control exercise”.
“Nazri tried miserably to give a misconception on Muhyiddin’s statement by citing the Malay special privileges,” said Karpal.
He rapped Najib for failing to live up to his “CIA” slogan of credibility, integrity and accountability after a year as the country’s sixth prime minister.

Tony Pua has described Prime Minister Najib Razak’s indecisiveness as his “tactic” to win over the people.
He said the Umno chairman prefers to take a populist stand by twisting the facts and giving the impressions that the economy is on the road to recovery.
“Najib has not changed. He is the same as before. He has no determination to resolve the issues afflicting the economy, “ he said after appearing on TV Selangor’s Fokus Berita TV show.
April 5th, 2010 at 7:57 am
Dr Jeffrey stated that the people of Sabah should dissociate themselves from Umno and send it “back to Peninsular Malaysia,” since Dr Mahathir and his successors have not been willing to voluntarily pull Umno out of Sabah and the continued Umno’s presence in Sabah further compromises its security and autonomy as pledged under the 1963 Malaysia Agreement.

He made the vow after nearly 83,000 senior citizens aged 60 and above in Penang took up the state government’s offer of RM100 aid disbursed since April 1.
“I promise RM1,000 for each senior citizen in the country annually if PR wins the federal government,” the Penang chief minister told The Malaysian Insider.

When DPM said….”I am a Malay first…and Malaysians second”…..where are the MCA..Koh Tsu Koon..and MIC big mouths gone to? Why all so quiet?
When Najib said..”1 Malaysia”…..all spoke out so quickly to support.
In Parliament…Lim Kit Siang spoke for one hour against “1Malaysia”. Only UMNO BARU politicians spoke to insult…and hammer LKS.
where are the MCA .. Koh Tsu Koon…and MIC leeches?
There you can clearly see…those idiots are afraid of UMNO BARU and do threat Najib as their Lord and King.

Never ever forget…MCA president and Koh Tsu Koon were all thrown out by People’s Power in the 12th GE.
If Najib truly respect Malaysians and democracy…he will never put those puppets back in the cabinet.
But then…without those puppets…Najib is a nonsensical BN leader.
The show must go on…and that’s what it is all about …after 12th GE…shows and acts.
Just sit back and think how many billions wasted by UMNO and BN…always talking politics..and spending ….perhaps..10% time on working for what they are voted in for.
We talk of MCA…as if so important to our lives and future..when the truth is…Malaysians have voted them out completely.
Chua Soi Lek is powerless.
Koh Tsu Koon have such a thick skin face…not enough words to describe such a creature who has no backbone at all. He is a real disgrace to the Chinese community.

PAS deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa submitted a memorandum, signed by its president Abdul Hadi Awang and all PAS MPs, to an officer to the Keeper of the Rulers Council in Kuala Lumpur today.
“We the PAS MPs sincerely hope for intervention from the rulers to revoke the contract between Apco and the government, for the security of the country and its people,” reads the five-page document.

The real problem of Apco is why the Gomen needs to spend tax payers’ money to promote its own image. To LURE FDI and tourists?
Why image(and arificial appearances)being pursued without truth and without integrity which are the real substance we need? Why need to pretend to such and extent. displacing all (lacking)integrity in such faked promotions?

‘Noh Omar, why are you worried about Mafrel being a mouthpiece for the opposition – which they are not – when the Election Commission itself openly sings and dances to Umno-BN’s tune?’

He said Tengku Razaleighi’s account last Friday appeared to suggest that it was he (Tengku Razaleigh) who invited Rahman and the third person in turn to follow him after being invited by Harris to disembark from the aircraft.
“What cannot be disputed is that Harris’s invitation to Tengku Razaleigh to disembark was a clear breach of protocol and courtesy as his boss, Stephens, was the host aboard the ill-fated aircraft, said Jeffrey.
The oil agreement was more important than a cattle-rearing project in Pulau Banggi, which is still the poorest place in Malaysia, he added.
There was no reason, for Harris and Tengku Razaleigh, to give priority to visiting the cattle-rearing project over the oil agreement unless it was already a done deal.
It is as if some people knew that there would be no signing ceremony in Kota Kinabalu, he said.

A panel? What on Alamak does it mean? A Dialogue is a better terms methinks. In a dialogue, there are no hard and fast rules. A panel can be used to whack one black and blue. Any Sufi’s on the ‘panel’? Who are the members?

…….do you ever wonder why the situation now in malaysia is so chaotic????????when malaysia was formed along with singapore, the singapore prime minister then, the honourable lee kuan yew, ‘espoused’ that with the formation of malaysia, he(mr. lee) spoke for all of us, reiterating that henceforth, all citizens being being of Malay, Chinese or indians and other races like Sabahans, Sarawakians ARE to be known as MALAYSIANS……but somehow, in the back of their minds, one particular laid back race, did NOT subscribe to that notion, because, probably they WERE afraid of the other MORE industrious races, whom they perceive WOULD ‘down trodden’ them eventually…….their fear WAS so intense that they finally ‘kick’ Singapore OUT of the ‘FEDERATION of MALAYSIA’……if one were to READ the various blogs CAREFULLY, it WOULD not be a surprise that two or at least one of the western MALAYSIAN states WOULD follow suit…this time though, not being KICKED out by the ‘powerful but deceitful’ ruling governement….BUT the LAND BELOW THE WIND, gleefully opting themselves OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

…It is understood that Mafrel could lose EC accreditation but still operate as election watchdog for the by-election when campaigning starts after nomination on April 17 .
But Wan Ahmad said the EC decision is not related to Noh’s criticism of Mafrel, adding its decision was made earlier….”
