Could Najib say this of his Dottie?

From Malysiakini: Tribute to Wan Azizah, ‘rock of PKR’

It has been quite a while since Anwar Ibrahim has publicly praised his wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, for being the ‘rock’ of PKR. He did so today.

Anwar revealed that it was his wife who has held the party together by taking a deep interest in its affairs, updating herself on political developments and showing genuine concern for the welfare of members.

“Although I may be the one formulating policies, Azizah is the one working tirelessly behind the scenes. She has worked harder than me at times,” Anwar told a press conference at PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya. Continue reading

So, the people rejected Najib Tun Razak and Mahathir Mohamad?

http://blog.limkitsiang.com/2009/04/07/bukit-gantabg-results-coming-in/

Yahoooooooooo !!!

So eager to be PM, izzit? Passed the buck to Muhyiddin Yassin.  Got in clowns to perk up the show – remember big bozo Mahathir and Ezam Mohd Nor.

Use Elizabeth Wong’s pathetic situation to disgrace PAS.

Repress, depress and suppress the name of Altantuya.

And now what have you? Continue reading

New heights of repression…

We are really reaching new heights in repression.

Firstly, HINDRAF legal advisor V. Ganabatirao was freed from Kamunting but he cant speak to the media.

What kind of freedom is this? A half-past-six freedom?

Some will say, it is better than nothing at all.  But for me, it is proven that the release announced by the new prime minister was  just a tactic to score points for himself.

I was just about to get over this when I read that a man selling masks of Altantuya was detained in Taiping. Whatever for?

She does crawl under the skin of some people, doesn’t she? I hope she haunts them every night, too. Yet, I prefer, this Mongolian woman to rest in peace.

Yet, how can one rest in peace when her murderer(s) are yet to be identified.

Then we are exposed to this indecent exposure.

Najib Tun Razak, only days being premier, is already being condescending and patronising to the media: Najib wants fair and responsible media.

Indeed!

Fair and responsible according to who? Why exert undue influence over the media? How can you expect it to be free when the PM issues such “warnings”.

Is this not repression in its most subtle ways? Continue reading

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts…

wooden-horseOnly replace the Greeks here with Najib.

So this guy releases 13 ISA detainees and the promise to undertake a comprehensive review of the ISA. Some people are even thinking this is Najib Tun Razak’s deal with His Royal Highness in order to become PM.

Good. Good. At least for the ISA detainees families. But remember, they shouldn’t have been there in Kamunting in the first place! These people are not your pawns and they are not supposed to be toyed with – detained when you like, released to give you some political milage.

Some syok sendiri (self gratifying) feeling, it is for some people. What about the others in the ISA? Why is HINDRAF chief Uthayakumar still in there? Is he still a threat or he still there, being punished because HINDRAF backs Anwar Ibrahim in the by-elections?

What perfect timing it is, too, to announce this release. And to torment HINDRAF further with their chief’s detention, until and unless, they back UMNO? Continue reading

ONE MALAYSIA – what it means

Oh yes! I think I know what you mean by ONE MALAYSIA.

One word, one thought, one action.

No disagreement. No criticism.

Judging by all the recent crackdown, it can only mean:

The ONE MALAYSIA that agrees with YOU!

Everyone else goes MISSING!

Brace yourself for the biggest nightmare!

1. King has not accepted Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s resignation, yet invitation letters to attend najib Tun Razak’s swearing in ceremony as new PM has been sent. (malaysianinsider)

2. Pak Lah is only going to send his resignation letter on April2, then how can the King accept or reject?

Pak Lah,why so reluctant to hand in letter? Continue reading
