Rulers under pressure, choose ex-UMNO as CJ?

OH, DEAR GOD!
Are the rulers under pressure or what?
Why nominate a Chief Justice who is a controversial ex-UMNO guy?
No one really cares for Malaysia.
How can this CJ be impartial, unbias and fair?
He used to be UMNO’s legal counsel for many years.
There’s a conflict of interest, too. He used to be a businessman.
