Easter is victory over death
Christians celebrate Easter because it was the day Jesus rose from the dead, after being crucified on the cross (Good Friday)
To the Christians, Easter is the most important celebration of the year. More important than Christmas. It symbolises victory over death, for Jesus, arose from the death, leaving an empty tomb.
Easter means renewal and revival. That you can be dead to your old self, and still arise victorious. That you can bury the dead, the hatchet and your sins, and still awake fresh and start over, no matter what lies in your past.

But the secret to those who believe is not a selfish move….
Many deaths are incurred because of beliefs being enforced by leaders for political gains…… daily in the Middle East … the Birth Place for the ONE GOD philosophy…
Believe and be hopeful…. life after death to be a better life but always remember the minute we close our eyes and begin the journey into the afterlife only then the truth will be revealed. For now, let us live life as being taught. Be grateful for each and every day!….
Tomorrow will be another day which can always be as beautiful and as rewarding….as today….and yesterday if only we have lived life to the fullest….

I thought this was a socio-political blog & a secular one at that. I am against fundamentalism, the worst being christian, islam & jewish fundamentalism. The world would be a better place without it.
