Altantuya’s dad questions ‘police source’ on DNA results
Altantuya Shariibuu’s father, Mr Stev Shariibuu had issued a press statement questioning the “police source” on the result of the DNA “confirming” that the four year old Altanshagai, is the son of the deceased’s ex-husband, a Mongolian (Bernama story).
I was also doubtful about the story and asked “Is someone lying again?”, knowing damn well that it couldn’t be possible to produce such results when the test was not done.
In his press statement signed on 2 May 2007, Mr. Shariibuu said:
“The newspaper mentioned that the person who revealed the result was a police source and I would like to thank him or her for this interesting piece of news. However, I would like to ask: how did the police come to know the result when no DNA samples were taken from my grandson? The forensic experts from Malaysia visited my home in Ulaanbataar on 14 March 2007, they saw my grandson but did not take his blood samples. Instead they took blood samples from my wife.
“Anyway, I have already made clear in a press conference here that Altantuya met Baginda in 2004, but my grandson was born in 2003, so it is impossible for the boy to be Baginda’s son”.
Shariibuu also expressed gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak for saying (in the Ijok by-election weeks ago) that he was in no way related to the murder of Altantuya.
However, he questioned why Najib’s chief secuity aide, Musa Safri, who was mentioned in Baginda’s “revealing” affidavit, was not charged or questioned on what kind of role he played in the murder.
“The whole world is watching when the trial is held in June. That’s why Malaysian government should to handle the crime with high responsibility”.
Meanwhile, Shaariibuu also asked if the government woud “respond charitably” to the case by making “some civic conscious compensation” for Altantuya’s orphans, including the sick young boy.
“We have lost Altantuya for almost seven months and we are still grieving her lost. I do not think Altantuya will rest in peace until all these questions are answered“

““The whole world is watching when the trial is held in June. That’s why Malaysian government should to handle the crime with high responsibility”.”
Well, the world should be aware that the Malaysian Government has always made “responsibility” as a mantra to its own populace.
Here is an opportunity for it to demonstrate convincingly the nature of that “responsibility” to the world. The world can judge whether that is a genuine or ersatz form of responsibility it promotes. It will, surely.

The whole can watch…provide the government allow live television..like the O.J Simpson murder case. In that sense…USA truly practice freedom of speeches to the letter.
Here …from day one…we are inspired by USA…starting with the similar national flags….copy wholesale most games shows….yet catch copycats on movies. And I noticed…politicians actually master the art of how to con people made famous by American politicians!!
Americans do not coin a sentence….’every second born a sucker’ for nothing.
Fair trial?? This is the greatest opportunity for the law makers to prove their worthiness…as wise and fair in the final judgement.
I think…at least 20 countries will send their journalists to cover the story…guarantee no live television….unless Pak Lah wants to score points to do it and get voters love him more.

Like I said…dad comes from a very backward and simple country.
Hope he has the greenlight from Kepal Singh to talk so much.
Why can’t he give all his opinions to his lawyers…instead of somewhat trying to say our country is not worth the salt to have a fair trial for her daughter?

How come they fail at basic math?
Tim - May 9, 2007 at 7:19 am
What do you mean they fail in basic maths Tim?
I have lived and mixed with their kind….very intelligent human beings. Don’t underestimate them…but perhaps the father cannot imagine such thing will happen to his family…and like any family…may go overboard with his grieves. That’s what I am afraid…he talked too much…making job difficult to his lawyers.
Maths are natural to them…..do you know that? They can repair TV and vehicles…anything…..without learning from others..
They can make a desert into plant and tree lands filled with natural water..dug from the hard earth. They know where to dig too….without instruments. Now where are the maths coming from?
Most are vegetarians and 99% are Buddhists……although freedom of religions are allowed.

Are they more backward…yes in concrete jungle comparison…..no in human nature behaviors.

And maybe most do not realise…China is not what China is today without the Mongolians.
Jenghis Khan….Kublai Khan….heard of them?
They are Mongolians.
Even Japan are decendants of Mongolians.
This is a very proud and old race…keep to themsleves like few other small countries around that area….and successfully live side by side with no quarrels amongst each other…although they are citizens of Russia….China and Pakistan….three boarders surrounding each small country…no wars.
One need to go there in June up to August and see so many thousands Europeans love to climb the mountain ranges and experience true natures……no change for thousands of years…not found anywhere else in the world.
Want to go?….go when you are young and fit…as you need to get used to the climate for few days….vomiting or feeling giddy…to climatise your body system.

Susan, it is very noble of you and your commentators arguing, fighting, demonstrating for the cause for Altantuya, why can’t you and your supporters seriously comment on this terror and official sanctioned group known as Iktan Relawan Rakyat (commenced and operated since 1972) known (one half million volunteers some of them armed to their teeth protected by law) as R E L A terrorising both the legal and illegal migrants any time of the day and night. Some of those migrants were robbed, mobiles, gold and jewellery stolen by members of the R E L A. It appears they are beyond the law. I feel your nPrime Minister is unaware of this form of error occuring in his own country or not reported to him at all. Some of them were sent to the Detention Camps as reported in your local newspapers and are mixed with those who committed Road Traffic Offences and place together with these illegal immigrants. When complaints were lodged against the culprits, the stolen goods were then returned to those migrants. Under the law, they are unable to be prosecuted. I sincerely hope, Opposition Members of Parliament will bring all these complaints to the Legislative Body to repeal these groups of gangsters. I am told complaints were made but were ignored as reported in the British and American Press. It is sad, that is the reason, you called your own beloved country Bodohland.
Please do not delay on this matter any more.
Philip Lau - May 9, 2007 at 6:40 pm
Philip, what is the SHAM chairman doing about this illegal migrant lost of human rights? Just sitting there for a great income and looking pretty while ppl like Irene Fernandez gets the just-ice stick? Isn’t he the same one who mysteriously burnt evidence in the Vijendran’s case?
wits0 - May 9, 2007 at 6:51 pm
Witso
Who is this SHAM Chairman, you write about. Sorry, I have not the slighest idea. Please do let me more. I do not know the details of “the Vijendran’s case.” Please also let me know more.
As for R E L A, I recollect of what I read in the local press and that of Singapore also. Some of our local people committed local traffic offence were detained with those illegal migrants waiting for deportation. As there were too many Deportees (waiting for their Deportation Papers) at the Detention Centres, they had to spend a few extra nights. Who wants to visit Johore in that case to look for trouble? They were innocent people. Your Menteri Besar knows this problem well.
I got those facts as I stated in both the British and American news. It is not good for Bodocountry. I hope something will be done.
Philip Lau - May 9, 2007 at 7:55 pm
Methink Susan can write by way of updating about the current standing of the rather silent Suhakam(also known as SHAM, the official M’sian Human Rights body) and its chairman because she’s more close to the current local news.
The RELA apparently represents the official version of the Hitlerite Brown/Black shirt experiments and employment opportunity while the Mat Rempit, the unofficial one.
While many right thinking persons can hope, the factionated Bodohland power-that-be are persuing their own agenda without a care and the MSM can only sporadically and briefly mention the public complaints. The sort of “no head, no tail” reports. just to sell papers.
wits0 - May 9, 2007 at 8:25 pm
Philip, one is tempted to compare the said phenomena like that when the Bodohland educational system became so lousy that private tuition became completely necessary.
The Police apparently couldn’t handle the situation and additional muscle of dubious quality and management come into play. Part of the Systemic slide.

If the police is interested to get to the bottom of the case, why did the forensic experts not take DNA samples from his grandson?
This question begs an answer! If they don’t, only shows there is a cover up.
Daily Nibbler - May 9, 2007 at 8:42 pm
WitsO
Thanks for the clarification. I thought RELA the official body is known as IKAN RELAWAN RAKYAT mentioned by me above is a statutory body with about 500,000 volunteers some of them well armed are terrorising both the legal and illegal immigrants. I hope and pray someone will look into this important complaint as this is played out as I say by both the American and the British press. It is not good for Bodoland. In hope their leaders are not “Bodos.” Of course, if they continue to run their country as what the are doing now, they will reach that stage. I hope not, but the other way round.
WitsO, you also mentioned “Bodoland Education System became so lousy…..” Education is the foundation of any successful country of the world. Please look around the respective countries of the world in each of their Educational System. Your neighbour, Singapore is a good example. We realise the importance of education in a country, so as Israel, and some of the countries in the Continent. The ultimate result, their people are very much higher knowleagle than the Arab/Moslem countries when they do not care much to educate their citizens. Result: Remember, the Jewish race is a matter of fact, are the most intelligent people in the world. Facts and figures are there for you to see. They are small in numbers but they control the world, the fact known to TDM. The Jews control America and in return they control the world. Do you know the top and nearly all the Senior Management staff at Pentagon are Jews.
Philip Lau - May 9, 2007 at 9:59 pm
Bodohland wants the image of a successful System for the feel-good value that conveys. Towards this end, they make passing school examinations ever more easier. It wasn’t enough that the poorest school product have long been transformed into teachers.
The world is fast becoming a Global Village and the competition that ensues demand a much higher standard of its ppl and Bodohland will soon be desrvingly consigned to clear cut backwardness wrt competitiveness.
The Jewish people belongs to the Semitic race. So are the Arabs. The Jews have been consistently most successful and this means great envy from their Arabist neighbours and the less vibrant Europeans as well. Victims of their own success, sort of. Resentment of this sort will never find any moral justification whatsover, no matter how Apocalyptic that hatred is manifested. The islamic Arabists(and ilks) are well known for their Victimhood absorption/obsession everywhere and blames everyone and never themselves for their own abjectness. Without hubris and hatred Arab Middle Eastern societies stand to lose even that modicum of drive, it seems. Wrong construct deinitely don’t deserve a good prognosis.
Some ppl compared the Chinese to the Jews, saying that the former are also victim of their own success. I don’t think the Chinese are that brilliantly successful as the Jews because they are not that uniformly united, for one. However it does take other (self chosen to be) inferior people to succumb to shameless envy, jealousy and blame for any other successful ppl.
Philips, why do you keep harping on that trashed blathering of TDM about Jews controlling the World? If the US Senate were in Fact largely Jews, isn’t it a strange thing that a Democrat controlled Senate(now and usually) tend to be anti-Israel? Remember that ex-Prez Jimmy Carter? Even today he’s the typical Dhimmi pacifist.
I think, Philip, we have digressed far enough away from the topic.
wits0 - May 10, 2007 at 3:01 am
Interesting exchanged of good healthy thoughts. Philips….Jews are known to control USA economies by all able politicians and intelligent folks all over the world for past decades. That’s the fact and Mahathir is just like one of us….nothing special about him.
Jews maybe the smartest in the world…but like every race or religion…there are bound to have few trying to spoil everything and in that sense…I have experienced a con job Jew a well as having few dear good Jewish friends.
In my whole life observing human behaviors…one cannot use politicians or powerful people to conclude what they are and who they are. I go down to mix with the ordinary folks of all countries I visit and judge them that way…and almost all countries have for or against their governments and all citizens of the world are infect quite similar…ever friendly and no colour or race discriminations.
Infect..less politics the better and they vote mostly for peace and harmony.
However..gone case countries like Isreal and Palestine will fight till Kingdom come come…as the damages are so deep and rooted for centuries. It is a fight of religion..nothing short of that. So why smart Jews keep needling the Arabs…if they are so smart and kind?
If you have no answers…then Jews are the most dangerous people on Earth.
monsterball - May 10, 2007 at 7:08 am
Have anyone ever experience mixing with a Jew closely? I have.
Like I said…very smart and friendly..but observed their cultures….rites and rituals. They maintain very old religious customs…yet once outside…some do things…just opposite what their religion teaches them. In short…there are much more hypocritical Jewish people …everyday in the making…simply because most want to modernise….yet dare not change the order or upgrade their religious beliefs to suit modern times.
Go to a Jewish wedding. Have anyone been to one?
From the start…they will insist you wear their traditional hat on top of the head..yet you are suppose to be a guest with..at ease to don the occasion. No sir…they impose their customary rights on you …right from the very start.
Then…my goodness..toasts are made ..not for the bride and bridegroom..but to their health of their Pre sident!!
Now look at those pigtail funny white shirt in black coat out Jews….plenty to see. They give the reason they will wear like this..till Johavah returns to Earth. Do you beleive it?
you know why they are the smartest? Because Jews are the most stingiest race on Earth…so they spend time reading and reading..no enjoyment and stay home all year round. So naturally more input..more smart….not that they are special race…pure scrooges …they are!!
Unfortunately…the whole world loves to enjoy life…by spending money. That’s what make them smart..read read read…no spent money!!

If I recall Altantuya have TWO CHILDREN..one is a new born baby…somewhat deformed big head…water inside the head?
The father said..old one has nothing to do with the accuse..yet he stops short to say anything about the new born baby…and Susan seems to keep that baby for next episode?
I have the strangest feeling the new born baby will be the key factor to the whole case…and you know who will admit have a sexual relationship..nothing more than that…and all the usual bullshits will come out more and more.
I have another strange feeling that Kerpal Singh will be enjoying this case.

yea lah…wrong spelling again noname…..but I guess everyone knows whom I meant. Thanks anyway.
monsterball - May 10, 2007 at 5:04 pm
Thanks Susan. So we can safely say..the children having nothing to do with the accused OR is the accused being introduced to the victim by the boss!!
Thus father said ..accused is not the father…and really strange…why was DNA done on the mother of victim..and not the child?
Maybe bad blood due to being a deformed child? Any way Karpal Singh {Got it right noname!} is no fool to such simple things of such an important murder case.
monsterball - May 10, 2007 at 5:11 pm
The father is appealing to the government for financial help to take care of the victim’s children…especially the deformed one that needs constant high cost medical attention.
I guess our government will not entertain to his request ..until after the case. Quite logical.
He than SACASTICALLY thank Najib coming out to say he has nothing to do with the murder case. There you have the gist of what the father is thinking.
monsterball - May 10, 2007 at 5:20 pm
Apart from the glaring strangeness on the matter of DNA sample taking, is there any proof that the accused even had an affair with the victim? It’s just his word for it. If the focus moves away from that of a sordid affair, it has to refocus fully on the (bad)business angle.
That Altantuya was a divorcee does not alone establish her as a loose woman, does it? Evidence is necessary….or is it taken for granted that it’s that easy to speak badly of the dead – even one who’s also a unfortunate victim of a most vicious premeditated crime?
I’m sure Karpal would have a bombshell or two to disclose in due time. This renown one should be worth something.
wits0 - May 10, 2007 at 5:31 pm
Had the crime taken place in, say, Japan, the government there would have readily offered some form of compensation to the family of the dead. This is conceivable. After all, the 3 alleged murdererd are members of the establishment.
It seems that the M’sian can easily afford that as well but it is too bangsat and fearful of doing so, feeling that this will further confirm the public suspicion of guilt beyond the 3. Ungentlemanliness goes well with bangsatness.
The gomen would rather hope for obfuscation and forgetfulness, being so used to habitual steathiness locally. And we also have a pleasant PM who, one imagines, winks at certain parties on his side.
wits0 - May 10, 2007 at 5:49 pm
Certainly one cannot conclude all divorcees or models are loose women. Yes maybe a divorcee with children seems to be easy target for fun…as they are also looking for someone really loving her as what she is. And usually these models have to go to parties or else no more modeling contracts. That’s where these models do meet filthy rich guys. Models that are never married before have an advantage being treated more refine and lady like..yet…they maybe the most bitchy…most slept over by so many others..yet treated more valuable than a divorcee . That …maybe is the cruel world of high soceity people ….mostly playboys …labeling secretly in their minds…but never show out their real thoughts.
monsterball - May 10, 2007 at 5:50 pm
Once our government entertains the victim’s father request…it is like saying ..the accused are all guilty…..so lets help. Remember…all accused are directly or indirectly government servants..not one from the commercial sector.
It is…innocent…until proven guilty concept ..and government is right not to entertain the father’s request….to safeguard the accused..so simple to understand.
monsterball - May 10, 2007 at 6:04 pm
The gomen could’ve offered compensation without the father requesting first ; that by itself is not necessarily an admission of guilt. It could have been viewed as a an act of compassion and good PR internationally. It could have been proferred with the stipulation that it does not represent any admission of culpability before the conclusion of the trial. Simple to understand the gomen mentality that cannot transcend the lower level of thinking.
wits0 - May 10, 2007 at 6:17 pm
Presuming the government..especially Pak Lah knows the whole truth. Do you expect him to come out and tell all..so case close…and the accused escape hanging till death or hanged without fair trial?
Of course these are politicians…with nerves of steel to act and do things that we normal people cannot do so. That’s why we are not politicians.
So Pak Lah will stand by his men…even guilty to allow the judge to decide the final outcome of the case.
So far Karpal is quiet …not saying a word..may mean he expects a fair trial. He knows which is the judge…have he rejected him?…no.
The whole thing boils down to the real court case ..fair or will it be like one..under TDM’s time…a kangaroo court case on Anwar. I don’t think so.
He brought the case forward to few days more…realising his whole reputation being a fair minded PM lies on this case….to be rejected or accepted by the public in coming election.
monsterball - May 10, 2007 at 6:26 pm
It is very unlikely the Malaysian Govt shall give a subsidy/allowance for the sick child of Altantuya. Her father in the first place should never have asked for this as it is incorrect to do so.
In view of the political nature of the case, I am surprised that Bodohland was able to get the case heard so soon. Very unusual indeed. Susan, since you are so deeply engrossed in this case, many of us I am positive would like you to publish a book on this case since you have the basic mertials in hand. Of course, I wonder you have the time to make a couple of visits at least to Mongolia, a vast and fantastic country, out of the world as I have friends there. Philip Lau - May 10, 2007 at 6:32 pm
Lets say…all other countries think our government mentality are lousy..do not have any feelings for poor people’s request…why are not one other country come out to help the Monoglian father? Surely even their own government can help…no matter how poor or someone quietly help.
You see..this is a murder case…and no one wants to do anything to jeopardize the accused or accusers.

I’m not sure this is exactly incorrect but it might be better if he didn’t for it gave a wrong impression of sorts. But then again it is part and parcel ofthe justice he sought. Employing Karpal can’t be cheap btw.
Other circumstances already compromised the gomen’s case. The glaring link is not only Bag, C4 and the two police personnels but also the mysterious policewoman who’s somebody’s personal bodyguard as well. One who’s not named or charged. There seems to be more than one link to high places.
The gomen is already reponsible even if those accused are by any chance found not guilty(!) – on account of poor administrative control over the issuing and usage of C4.

The statement from the so-called “police source” regarding the father of Altantuya’s son was meant to counter allegation made by DSAI during the run-up to the Ijok buy-election. Nothing more than that. I guess it is just a spin from the newspaper.

Monty:
I am not very sure what you meant in your above comments. However, I can forsee, the Altantuya Episode will be a very long protracted one. Unless, there is a political fixed up, (if there is any) the 4th June 2007 trial is only a commencement. There would be a few more steps up. Based on Malaysian situation anything can happen depending on which direction the wind blows
For what I see, the above trial, (however, anything can occur) the outcome will be quite obvious, unlike the poor Anuar case as the world knew it, as a Kangaroo Court, purely political in nature. His unfortunate trial was important, but not so relevant as Altantuya’s case. Everyone can still recollect, how Anuar was very beaten up by the former Inspector General while he was in prison and had to go to Munich for medical treatment after much ado. The former Inspector General (originally denied it but subsequently) did apologise to Anuar for the incident and paid to Anuar an undisclosed sum for settlement after he commenced both civil and criminal proceedings. It is sad this could only on Bodohland and no others. I was touched by the large panel of Malaysian lawyers who offered free legal aid for Anuar as I am sure they did it out for the love of that man so badly victimised known througout the world.
I wonder Karpal Singh has offered similiar services. If he had dome so, I am unable to read it in the press.
I am still of the view that Susan Loone is the best person to compile this story with her analytical and inquiring mind. She will no doubt have all the materials she wants especially the background of the vast country and the nomadic lives the Mongolians lead even inspite of the present modern time. But however, I have the gut feeling there may be others with similiar foundation. Since the story shall be a protraced one, I am sure there will be a follow up to the changing events.
Yes! the General Election is on the cart and will be coming soon without doubt. Susan will be this time be on the ground. Susan being such a capable young, passionate lady believing in her course of justice, I am sure will be able to handle the two babies simultaneously.

Yes and thanks for the information. I am aware of this. Poor Susan, I understand she has to also to look after the welfare of her EIGHT year old niece and her mother who she is very attached to them. At first, I thought she is a FULL TIME blogger, I was corrected.
I am also aware she is attached to a Human Rights group. Since Susan loves to write and edit (as she was a former journalist) I am convinced she is the best person for those two projects besides her work. She is a passionate, responsible and analytical, fearless writer and I am sure she will continue to do so. I fear for her persoanl safety. Susan has the same traits of that of a former Malaysian lady, now a Singaporean, Dr Catherine Lim, although at the age of 64, she is a vivacious writer and lecturer and yet very attractive at this age. She had written many books. She is a fearless lady and dare to write critical aricles more than a decade ago (time is critical at that period of history) on both MM Lee Kuan Yew and Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. Singaporeans admire her of her intelligence, courage and fearless personality and even proposed that she should enter into the political arena, a line I believe she is uninterested. For what I see, she prefers to be an armchair ctitic.

Malaysian Government has two options basically:
1] to absolve itself from the private or individual actions of its agents aka Government Servants, employees
In which case, brings the questions to front, are they acting on their own accord and for what motives? Blackmail or act of insanity at the time of commitment of ac
or, are the two Government Agents/employees, acting under orders from somebody higher up, as it cannot come from subordinates to them
2] yes, they were at the material time acting as Government Servants, employees or Agents of the Government in which case, the Government of Malaysia is NOW responsible
Therefore, it opens the possibility that the Government of Malaysia can be sued not only in Malaysia Courts but up to Interantional Courts .
The Government of Malaysia, being a Sovereign nation abides by International Conduct of the safe passage of a foreign person entering its territory and it promises to President and Government of Mongolia that promise as Governfment of Malaysia ISSUES a VISA
Mr Karpal Singh and family of Altantuya go for it . These monkey Malaysians deserve a whacking.

Malaysian government is known for being able to outdo David Copperfield, the conjurer/magician. It can cast racism in stone, no less and still create national unity.
Like having the cake and eating it too.

I recall when Razak Baginda and the two cops were charged with murder,
Altantuya’s father even commended the Malaysian police for their swift and fearless actions selflessly unaware that such masquarades was much needed as a smokescreen to whitewhash the suspect, Baginda (not proven guilty yet) whom in view of his brazen collusion with the Malaysian police, using them to kill Altantuya with C4 explosive (Najib could answer that) and the unusual leeway for Baginda (whom is freer and roaming at will than anyone who steals a ‘belachan’) shows whenever eminence grise, (always political higher-ups) is involved, anyone could be incarcerated or set-free according to the wish of the ‘master/s’. In precedent, Tun Salleh Abbas, Anwar Ibrahim amongst public figures hogging the limelights till date.
Thus far, from parodies to travesties and counting i was wondering a report carried out by a survey,- “M’sian judiciary is 9th least corrupted worldwide”. If that is true, I am Brad Pitt.
Although the world is watching the developments of the Altantuya case, having the Mongolian Government observing the impending trial itself, and asserting enough pressure on their Malysian counterpart, will it do any good? Anwar has almost the whole world protesting when he was indicted and jailed for bribery and misuse of power. American No. 2, Al Gore
even condemned the Malaysian Government in candour in his speech in Malaysia years ago when Mahathir was premier and considered if not proven for his eminence grise role in their political vendetta.
May God steps in (to exact justice)not only for Altantuya, her family and the Mongolians but every living souls who wants and still beleives the law-court in Malaysia could ever mete-out a fair verdict in a trial to indict a ‘killer’ formerly associated with Malaysia’s second man or never feel anguish to expect that we have just begin to see the reality of 1997’s’ Red Corner’ (a movie of how blatant the Chinese Government was using the court to indict (Gere) and exonerate the real felon) acted by richard Gere and Bai Ling without the 15 minutes ending (that finally justice has been exacted with the intervention of a General, whose daughter is killed by the real killer whom he personally shoot to death when the real killer was exonerated, walking out gleefully ).
Sorry for being fussy here, but my prayer goes for Altantuya and her grieving relatives and if Baginda walks out a free man, will PM Abdullah Badawi re-enact the General’s courage taking the law into his own hands…
Good jod to Sue for your insight coverage…

[...] I was highly suspicious about the report as his team did not conduct any test on the small boy. The forensic experts from Malaysia visited my home in Ulaanbataar on 14 March 2007, they saw my grandson but did not take his blood samples. Instead they took blood samples from my wife (Shariibuu) [...]
