Will Altantuya’s son survive the court case in March?
[update] Baginda’s bail application rejected. No medical records, no bail! He goes back to jail.
Mr. Shariibuu is worried for his youngest grandson, who may not survive the final decision of the court case, which is set to convene on March 2008. Baginda is now sitting in Sungai Buloh prison, worried that his bail application today (January 19) will be rejected yet again.
As Abdul Razak Baginda faces the High Court in Shah Alam this morning to hear what the judges will say about his bail application due to ill health, somewhere in the exotic land of Mongolia, a little boy is suffering as he pines for his young, beautiful mother. Will Altantuya’s son live to see the day his mother’s real murderer(s) pay for the brutal crime? Mr. Shariibuu shares his pain.
Altantuya Shariibuu’s youngest son’s health is failing rapidly and he may not live to see the outcome of the trial in March 2008, said her father Mr. S. Shariibuu in Ulanbataar on January 15, 2006.
“Her son’s health is an emerging issue at the moment. He may not be able to wait for the final court procedure.
“If this happens, it will be a serious issue,” said Shariibuu, when sharing his predicament with an informal coalition of civil society organisations and individuals in Mongolia.
He said that due to his grandson’s health problems, his family is currently facing some financial problems.
Report of the boy’s health was revealed in this blog on January 12. Read here.
It is learnt that the Shariibuu family wants to hold the Government and law enforcers responsible should anything happen to this little boy if the court case or matter of compensation were not resolved in time.
In the meeting, he also shared his views on the case and his disappointment with press reports and media approach on the controversial and explosive case.
In his speech, he requested both the governments of Mongolia and Malaysia to appoint a team of international experts to investigate the C4 explosives which were purportedly used to blow up his daughter.
Shariibuu is still wondering whether the murderer(s) had used the explosives on Altantuya while she was alive.
He called for clarification and investigation on who directed the use of the explosives.
“Who gave the order, from where did they get it?” he asked.
[Note: Mr. Shariibuu's statement was translated by members of the civil society organisations in Mongolia for the benefit of this blog].

Susan Not Alone,
It is a very good idea to file a complaint with the United Nations, a “rogue country” Malaysia uses the Law Enforcement Agency to blow up a foreign visitor.
There is legal precedent, don’t have to wait for the case to come to trail as the AG has brought charges to the 2x UTK personnel is sufficient evidence to start proceedings against the Government of Malaysia.
Use your Blog to contact New York lawyers, there is one Malaysian Family who sued the Indonesian General responsibility for killing her son in Timur!
There are other cases as well…. go for it!
