Don’t cry for me, KJ”

(Photo source: Malaysiakini, 7 August 2006)

“Newspapers today published a photo of Khairy wiping his tears as he answers a string of allegations made against him during the opening of the Port Klang Umno Youth division general meeting – Malaysiakini.com“.

Looks like UMNO has developed a culture of tears. Not that I mind men crying. In fact I think its sexy. But when politicians cry, it’s too much hypocrisy. Especially when the PM’s only son-in-law shed tears in public. Its like a spoilt child who didnt get the toy he asked for. Others in UMNO use to cry also, like Mahathir for example. Until tears don’t make any sense anymore.

The SON-in-LAW must know that he is in the limelight at the moment, and all lights are against him. There seem to be no support from any quarters despite several criticisms levelled against him. He should make a gentleman’s bow and find for the nearest exit door. Perhaps, take his only wife for a holiday. This is not the coward’s way. But the most logical way for one who seem too ambitious that he missed the forests for the trees.

Don’t wait for UMNO members to decide. Since when have they decided anything? UMNO, being a feudalistic party, has no room for decision making. Members follow orders, and perhaps now, everyone’s waiting for Pak Lah to raise his hands. How long shoud the SON-in-LAW hide under the FATHER-in-LAW’s skirt (Gunasegarem, I am not saying the PM is a cross dresser).

Indeed, if I were Khairy, I will wait no more. I’ll buy a one way ticket to the moon.
